My PC is up and running again thanks to full image backup from Saturday. I lost quite a bit DA:A game progress and recent ME2 and DA:A screenshots.

I lost all Kasumi loyalty mission shots except these two:

What's a good (free) place to host images online? I've been using photobucket for a while now, but their tagging system is a joke - which I only found out about after I'd tagged half of my Mass Effect screencaps...

Not necessarily - a few of the textures have the same hex hash. Heavy N7, for example, and Garrus' unmangled face.

I'm doing a quick run with Kuan Yin, my soldier Liaramancing Shep, for various SCIENCE reasons. And while I remain a loyal vanguard to the bone, I must say I'm digging the Adrenaline Rush filter.



Though, for those who play switch, does the Rev look as silly on dudeShep's back as it does femShep?

@TheMarshal: I usually use Tinypic when I've only got one or two to upload. The lack of bulk upload and the captcha make it annoying for larger sets, but it's quick and reliable and doesn't bother you with a lot of log-in crap.

I use Picassa. If you have a gmail account, you automatically have access to 1Gb of image storage. The only problem with it is when trying to view a screenshot at it's native resolution, but it's easy to fix.

As an example:

If you click the image you'll see in the address bar that the url contains a section that says; /s912/. Changing it to /s0/ will give you the full res picture. It's a little annoying having to do that to see an image full size, but it only takes a second to sort out.

@Shenzi: You've made some really good looking Shepards there. Kate would still be my favourite though. She rocks! The fact she could be Hrist's sister has nothing to do with it of course. :happy:

Abload.de for me. German site but with google translate it's workable if you don't read german. Bulk upload of 5 at a time, doesn't resize, seems to be no compression and I've uploaded jpg's of over 3mb in size without issues.

I wonder about that too! Before I switched computers the lashes weren't showing up for me either. Only during the tutorial sequence though; after that she glued them back on. xD


So I know I shouldn't be doing this, with school projects to finish, especially during the wee hours of the morning... but I'm a weak woman and I have my needs. Decided to start working on the face for a femShep I've been planning in my head for the longest time.

On a more serious note, I don't know if I'll be running with her as is. There are some clipping issues with the lashes and I can't decide if I'm comfortable with how she looks overall... But it's a start. I guess this would be her "version 1".

Oh, and she's a face 9 Shep. For now, anyway. *branching out!*

I've noticed that I only get disapearing eyelashes when I mess with the game to much, specifically remove the starter videos. I've been trying to keep modding of the essential files to the minimum because of it, even though I would love to try our some of the text mods.

its a pretty fun challenge.. though in my case... I didn't have that many Shepards left to design... altoholics are us O_O

this gal is someone I think I'll end up importing into ME3. her face turned out so cute and sweet looking and she immediately popped into my head as this sort of Catherine Tramell type, only worse, just a pure chaotic evil character that somehow manages to slide through the cracks and keep doing what she loves doing best - wreck havoc.

any resemblance to any other people's Shepards is purely coincidental - when I was designing her, I had 2 objectives - use face structure 4 and use different lips from my usual choices - with makeup. the only thing modded about her is hair.

Thanks, Quething. Yes Claire does like purple. She has purple coloured eyes (that were in no way stolen from Aislinn's Moira ), armour, both normal and tech, and warp ammo for a bit of purple on her guns.



And the eyelashes disappearing is a bug. It happens with Imported Sheps and when pasting in a facecode, I always find. Once you're on Lazarus Station, save and quit completely out of ME2, reload the game and load the save file and the eyelashes will work fine.

I definitely got two new faces out of the project that I want to use for my personal Shepards, but I had to stop there because I started to get ideas of how I wanted to play them. Need to finish my canon first (got a new monitor/operating system and decided to do a fresh run to grab better screenshots -- definitely very pleased with how my last ME1 game ended).

I had wanted to have a game to save the base, but couldn't find a real reason for it. My renegade just wasn't going for it either (despite not saving the council). And then I realized I was limiting myself by looking at it as a paragon/renegade thing. I could just play as a pro-Cerebus and the renegade/paragon route wouldn't really matter. Damn that yellow lipstick. I wanted to use it to symbolize pro-Cerebus (it helps to remind me how to play a character, don't ask me why), but it just does not look good on any skin tone.

this lipstick? (its the only yellowish one I can think of from default choices, at least) it looks ok with medium tan skintones, IMO. yellow eyeshadow could be a good compromise though



(one of my facial structure#1 femsheps - she's a ....I guess you could say she's neutral, but really its more of a chaotic, and she really really hates cerberus)

I...I like this idea. I could so see it happening too. Udina goes off on some bullsh*t political rant or something and FemShep can just interrupt him. But yeah, I could totally see this.
