Was anyone else bothered by Shepard's skeleton at the beginning of the game? (That it's male)  Doesn't bother me any more, but when I first noticed it, it nearly drew me out of the game.

It bothered me because it was MaleShep's skeleton, not hers.

Heh it kinda might have taken me like 50 turns through the CC to notice you can see her lying on the table behind the moving shiny bits on the foreground in that sequence? =P So no, not really bothered ghehehe.

Not at all. A Skeleton was a Skeleton until just now. It's a small skeleton so I really can't tell the difference. Even now it doens't bother me cuz it's a friggen skeleton that eventually turns into all of our beautiful Shepard's.

Android pelvis, a female pelvis with masculine features. Estimated to happen in 1/3 of white women and 1/6 of non-white women.

The only major difference between a female and male skeleton is the pelvis. And even than the difference in the measurements is so slight that you can't eye ball it. So no, the skeleton doesn't bother me at all. Plus its a digital hologram, it might just be a icon of a skeleton and not an actually scan of Shepard.

Finished Kelly Shepard's ME1 game.

"Oh yes, this is definitely a bad day."

Have one more Shepard to finish (MaleShep) and then I can (finally) start ME2 games. Unless I get yet another idea or succumb to the "make a Shepard for each face type" challenge.

Nononononono /Veetor.

Yeah... That's the way it goes. But wow, 6000? I've had like ~1800 from my last run but it looks like I end up retaking 'em all whit playthrough. I cleaned my screenshot folder from old pics (I do have back ups, just in case.

Yeah, crazy, I know. =p I take that many because some of the renegade lines flat out make me laugh and I'll find myself trying to dig up good quotes to use as a sig on other boards. Sometimes I'm curious what the dialogue differences are in certain scenarios but don't have the alignment for it so I wait until I do alt runs. (I don't take as many screenshots on alts because there's no need to recapture dialogue unless I'm at a blue/red choice or major decision.) This was my first game with Uldina as councilor (and thus no spectre status). I thought it was interesting that I could claim to be a spectre to intimidate Elias and get an instant confession out of him. There were a few situations where it was acknowledged she was no longer a spectre, including in LotSB, especially when she's facing off against the asari spectre in battle. I thought that was a nice touch.

Anyway, dumped about ~1500 screenshots this afternoon. I like to grab random shots of the world, not just Shepard, so here's a few that I focused on.

This guy always died too fast for me to get a good look at his face. Until now.

"Oh, yeah, memo to self: Order the N7 coffee mug before they sell out again. Take a screenshot to remember."

I just like the purple lights. It's a nice view. I remember being at a hotel right at the LAX airport and seeing bright lights like this.
Posted Image

I wanted to see exactly what kind of obstructions Legion was running into during the suicide mission so I took the flycam inside the tunnel. It's just a boring rock wall, but neat to see anyway.
Posted Image

N7 Helmet. Just cause. I liked seeing it on the desk because I made a specific decision to ditch the N7 default striped armor for my main in ME2. She wasn't a part of the Alliance anymore at that point and Cerebus had upgraded everything. That's why I liked wearing the blue glow armor to indicate that she ran with a different crew now. I am looking forward to putting on the red stripe again in ME3. Will be a nice full circle.

That is weird Shepard's service number is 5923-AC-2826. Writer oversight?

While I had finished my ME2 playthrough with Jane last Sunday already, I wasn't quote happy with a couple of dialogue/game choices made during the SM. The last save I had though (I'm terrible with saving, normally only having autosave, quicksave and last chapter save), was the start of the run through the Collector Station (the 2nd fireteam lead and tech expert already being locked in). So I knew I was going to lose Thane no matter what. I copied that file as Save0 and redid the SM run about ten times until I was happy with there being valid reasons for only Thane dying (I even tried a crontrived Morinth as 2nd 2nd fireteam lead to get her killed, but it flet too wrong). This allowed me to finally spot this...

...wonderful photo location. I really don't know why I've never seen it before (probably too focused on "The End Game"–and picking up a last few thermal clips–each time I got there to have a good look around).

So my alternate ME3 import (unfortunately manShep is my canon run), had Jane also decide to blow up the base, ending in a 9:5 renegade/paragon split, where she told off TIM...

...had no LI, no old Council and very few friends. I might get some of the DLC before ME3, or not, so for now it's on to a different game/s for the next 6 month or so.

To paraphrase The Google: Military Occupational Specialties (MOS) numbers identify the enlisted person's occupational skills. So, I'm thinkin' 032609 somehow loosely translates into "Have fancy spaceship and N7 hardsuit, will savagely protect the innocent." Or, something possibly pertaining to fighting heavily armed space bears for queen and country.

Which makes it even weirder as Shepard's MOS is N7!!!

Kyrene, that's awesome. I never noticed it either! Good find.

And I googled Commander Shepard's dog tags in case another board discussed the numbers, but I got distracted by this beautiful render I stumbled across:

Some great curious snaps there as well Gilsa!!  Quite impressive.  B)

Especially with the dog tags.  Her Alliance N7 Graduate Service number is 5923-AC-2826.   Im unsure what that represents...

This was my original FemShep (face #8). I probably ran through three playthroughs with her. I loved these eyebrows with the stray hairs like she didn't have time to pluck or whatever. And then one day someone told me she looked sad in her screenshots. Sure enough, after a while, I couldn't unsee the sadness since it had been pointed out. Drove me crazy so that's why I had one final run (ireallymeanitthistime) with different eyebrows. No more sad Shep. Too bad there's not a whole lot of thick eyebrow choices to pick from. A couple of them look like they were just scribbled on, y'know?

The past few times I've played through I've been paying close attention to the descriptions of the planets.  Some of the stories behind the planets are pretty neat, and it's incredible that every single planet has one, even if it's just a detailed description of what the planet is made up of.

I lost all my old ME saves, so I had to reproduce Damara. Luckily, it worked out and, even luckier, I think I improved her looks.

I've got all of them on rotation as well.  Best thing I've discovered about Win7 is the ability to do a wallpaper slideshow.
