It's 50 max saves for ME2. My ME1 playthroughs tend to have 70+ saves.

Hoping to find a flag in coalesced that removes that restriction. Especially since I finally finished my last ME1 playthrough (for now) and should start up ME2 playthrough with Riza Shepard next week, assuming I can follow sagequeen's instructions on her blog without blowing things up.

I don't know any code fix offhand, but one thing you can do is just move your first 50 saves to another folder. Then once you finish the game, move all your saves back; the game won't let you make more saves, but it will load any existing saves just fine.

And @Ottemis: fantastic resource! Hadn't occurred to me to use the bun textures under hats, I'd been going crewcut. This gives me ideas....

@Quething: Ah, good. I just stopped saving games after landing on a planet with an N7 mission. I tended to save the game on each planet I landed on in ME1 so I could go back later if I wanted to get screenshots.

Okay, tried out the Khalisah hair on #6. Either her head's too big or I'm doing something terribly terribly wrong.



It'd be a shame if it were the former though. I think this hair could work for her if not for the clipping.

I think it's possible to slightly shrink Shepard's headmorph in Gibbed. Maybe you could try that?

It may depend on the face structure, I tried this with Nadia, which is number 7 and clips arround the forehead.

Sorry for the double post, but I have just noticed that the updated files of femshep hd weren't showing to visitors. I thought I changed the status right after uploading, but it seems it didn't work. Now are working correctly.

Oh! That's right! Chig, while you're 'here' is this what you did for the Ashley hair?
Would you be willing to share some insights with me as to how to best have the clipping sorted so I can put that on the blog as suggestions for people who'd want to try and use that hair?

I had a muck about with it, put it on every facestruct, putting the black pulled hairtexture on the skull under it etc but I kept running into mayor snags, not only with clipping but also with finding out the right color for the underlying texture and it not 100% alighning with the facemesh at times.

As to the clipping issues with some of the custom hair-styles, I have noticed that sometimes re-doing the save sorts clipping issues on the morph, sometimes it's just a fluke so worth trying again. But yeah clipping also seems to differs per struct, From what I can gather the 9 structs share atleast 2 different 'headshapes'.

Lemme see what happens to my struct six when i add it, sec. Edit: I have no clipping, only a bit on the top at the hairline so yeah i'd just try again:

Had this silly thought of posting a series "falling down" images from some of my FemSheps. That part where Saren's corpse becomes RoboSaren and Shepard falls down into that minipark.







....and this is the part where I realize I have a ton of them.

I think that hair does look good on her. Looks like the clipping is from the starting bun hairstyle, not the face structure. Only way to fix it I know of is to start a new playthrough with one of the other non-pulled hairstyles (cute, classy, shaved) and then Gibbed the short hair on.

I did this to swap hairstyles for Caroline
Works like a charm, and you're not left wondering why Shepard is magically bald then not again.

No. I gave Noah the low bun hairstyle, saved the game and opened it with Gibbed. Then I followed the instruction to mod Ash's hair "on top" if you so will.

I hope that helps you. If there's still clipping, you should try to shrink the headmorph slightly.

Got it. In addition to the codes above under textures, you also have to go into scalar parameters and change

HED_Scalp_Mask_Scalar = 1
HED_Scalp_Mask_OverlayKill_Scalar = 1



All we're changing is textures though so her head shape will stay the same, so the scalp will lack volume or shape unless you go back and select it in the CC.

New Shepard! My... 4th ever... 2nd with an in-depth backstory.

Ember Shepard.
Born on Earth, never knew her parents, ran away from the foster home when she was 12. Lived on the streets and joined the 10th Street Reds, where she made a name for herself as a scout and ambush expert. They called her "Lambo" after she successfully made off with three antique Lamborghini's from the same museum in the same night.

She was arrested and, after seeing that her rap sheet consisted entirely of petty, small time crimes, they gave her an option: enlist or do time.

Her aggression made her a natural choice for special ops, even if she doesn't take orders well. She was selected for N7 training, receiving a commission for her actions on Torfan... along with an official reprimand for unnecessary use of force and endangerment of her command.

She's quick to start a fight, thinks everything can be solved with enough firepower, and thinks Krogans are all talk. She and Wrex nearly killed each other during a dispute and managed to take the Mako out of service for a week. Kaidan and Liara were forced to use their biotics to restrain her while Ashley shouted Wrex into backing off.

She's closest to Jack, who has the same aggressive attitude, but harbors a secret soft spot for Tali, especially since she essentially didn't have parents either.

Thanks for the help guys! ELE was right; it was the excess head bump from the up-do that was causing the problem. No more clipping yay!



Mhmm, mama liiike. I might just stick with it. I do kind of start to miss the high bun now that I'm thinking of switching. xD It has a certain elegant charm.




Either way, I've found my Spacer/Ruthless Adept Renegade b*tchShep. <3 Now all she needs is a name.

Y'know, over the past couple of years, I had seen pictures of Noah and always recognized her. I never thought, "Oh, character with Ashley's hair." That IS Noah to me. When I see pictures of characters with Morrigan's or Anora's hairstyle, I think of Morrigan and Anora, but for some reason, I never think of Ashley when I see Noah. Noah looks so natural and distinctive!
