I've decided to replay my femshep Penny. She has an updated look as well. I finally figured out how to kinda use the flycam. some of these shots are straight from the game and others are flycam pictures. :)

Nice shots, Verly!

There are no fishes in the tank that my Shepard stands in front of. It reminds me of Varric's snark in DA2, something like, "I don't care what they say. The water is not relaxing." =D

Thanks Gilsa, speaking of that....I actually took shots before those without fish and then made a quick trip to Omega so the fish tank wasn't empty. lol

No. I gave Noah the low bun hairstyle, saved the game and opened it with Gibbed. Then I followed the instruction to mod Ash's hair "on top" if you so will.

Y'know, over the past couple of years, I had seen pictures of Noah and always recognized her. I never thought, "Oh, character with Ashley's hair." That IS Noah to me. When I see pictures of characters with Morrigan's or Anora's hairstyle, I think of Morrigan and Anora, but for some reason, I never think of Ashley when I see Noah. Noah looks so natural and distinctive!

Thank you, Gilsa! That's very sweet of you.

@Akari – Amazing artwork as usual, love the piece you did for Ottemis

@nranola – I really like the modded al-Jilani hair on her, I think you should keep it.

@Chignon – I hope they have the “Ashley” hair available for modding in ME3, I can’t imagine Noah changing to a different style now

@Ottemis – Thank you for consolidating all the codes in one spot, I’m usually going to several different links to find all the codes.

Kate really would like me to stay away from Gibbed.

Sometimes I get mistakes like this –

And she wasn’t particularly happy about this look either.

(love the look on other characters, but it just doesn't fit Kate)

I hope so too, Shenzi. But I'm now doing a playthrough with the classy hairstyle just in case.

And Kate really looks a bit miffed at messing with her curls! (;

Zofia has been fun to create and play, although I keep hearing a good Eastern European accent in my head instead of Jen Hale....

Lots of really nice customized there. Makes me wish I had a good enough PC to run it.

Thanks for the input on #6! Yeah, I think I'll keep the bob cut in ME2 and maybe just use the high bun in ME1. If there's a way to mod the bob in ME1 (is there?) then I'll probably use it there too.

ME3 remains to be seen...

I'm glad you decided to revive this one. :D I really like her. The lipstick and the tattoo add a lot of character.

Delurking for a quick question (brought on by the amount of 'hair talk' happening recently):

What is your impression of what happened to your femShep's hair during the two years she was comatose? Was the state of her body so bad that it had to be imlanted? Did some Cerberus stylist/nurse trim/cut it from time to time? How did she end up with the haircut you gave her for ME2?

Jane went from (Alliance military cut):

to (Cerberus regrown):

which is visually similar (high hairline, nothing in eyes or over ears, etc.), but to me showed how much her hair grew in the two years. She wears it in a bun because it's a mess. With all the running after people to recruit, TIM misions, etc. she never really had time to style it. She may very well have a different look for the trial in ME3, since she'll probably have it styled in this limbo time she's experiencing now (post-SM).

On to another question:

Is it not easier to modify coalesc and add more hairstyles to the CC than to constantly hack our savegames with gibbed after the fact?

The state of Olivia's body was awful. She was little more than a suggestion of human encased in a shattered suit after her partial atmospheric burn up, exposure to vacuum and sub zero temperatures, fall from orbit onto a hard planet, and minor decay on the freezing tundras of Alchera.

Cerberus gave her the ponytail -- not because of some military practicality measures -- but because they were still running tests on the base of her skull and vertebrate before Wilson screwed everything up, and thus needed access to the back of her head.

Simple as that. She kept the haircut because she doesn't want to cut her hair.

Ideally I'd like both but I honestly don't know if it's possible without replacing any of the active hairstyles in the CC (if it's is possible at all). Having them in the CC you'd be able to actually shape a head around the hairstyle you want instead of trial and errorring your way through, though changing it midplaythrough via gibbed is an asset aswell either for aesthetic or RP reasoning.
I'm pretty happy we're getting such a heap of new hair in the CC in ME3 for this reason. Can never have enough options.

I just imagine that Miranda was anal enough to keep Shepard's hair exactly the same as it was in ME2 since she made a point in her log of saying as much (every cell as it was), etc. Since I pretended her hair was peroxided in ME1, I have the choice of imagining that Miranda bleached it for Shepard in ME2 OR Wilson was just incompetent enough to make her blonde hair a natural color. I try not to think too hard on these things because it doesn't really matter anyway. =p

This time it looks like both quantity and quality is spot on too (fingers crossed, though; we haven't seen anything yet).

omg, so much gorgeous and bada** going on here i can't comment on it all. well, that's the femshep thread for you.

eLE, love drea's look. can't wait to *hear* backstory. (edit - here/hear. geh, no sleep. coffee... baaahhhh...)

re: only one shep - yeah, backstory is the problem. once i got my shep's motivation down, i just am afraid thinking up another shep will distract me. i do have a fanfic i really need to finish first. i've gotten distracted enough by dA2

Heh, I have one more ME2 run in me before I retire and focus on other things. Trying to come up with a backstory for this one. All I know is: 1) gonna romance Garrus and 2) she'll send the incriminating Cerebus data to the Alliance. (Renegade kept for self, pro-Cerebus sent it to Cerebus, etc. I'm curious to see the variations play out in ME3.) I'll import a romanceless ME1 game I have, but will give her a new look though. The face challenge was inspiring and makes me want to try having faces outside of 1 and 7, both of which I'm guilty of. =p

i think part of my problem with multiple sheps is i'm just too attached to femshep/kaidan. i cannot get my head around any femshep of mine romancing anyone other than kaidan, and i feel like kyrie would toss a singularity+warp on me if i ever paired him with anyone else. hence, i wrote the fanfic to have something mass effectish to tide me over til march

I have a hard time relating to people who have multiple Shepards romancing the same guy. I get the appeal, but I just don't share between characters. Only my renegade gets Kaidan. =p

Same thing with Alistair. My first character was a dwarf noble who had a relationship with Alistair. I was dubious about a dwarf + human romance at first, but he was so charming and witty that I couldn't resist. And then when the opportunity came up to ask him if he had a problem with her being a dwarf, he said, "Of course not, don't be ridiculous. If anything, I was wondering if I was too tall." That completely sealed the deal. I LOVED the two of them after that. Even though human nobles had the best ending available, it couldn't come close to how accepted Alistair made me feel on my dwarf. Therefore ... no sharing, period. =p (I did try out a dwarf commoner + Alistair just to see if it was a little better with that origin, but deleted the game when I was finished.)

Even though I make different Shepards for different romances, the one thing I'm unable to do is bed hop. I am just not up for dumping one character and going with another. I will have to youtube the "cheated Kaidan/Ashley/Liara" scenarios to see how those play out since I won't have any games like that. =p

nice...

i did really like the friend/rivalry thing in da2 for that reason. i feel like i can make different hawkes romance the same person, but it's a completely different story each time. because yeah, i too, cannot romance the same character over and over with different PCs.by the time i got my canon shep's story striaght in my head, i couldn't have kaidan be with someone else.

i can accept other sheps romance kaidan in other people's games, but i can't accept that other sheps romance kaidan in my own games. it's like the sphere of possible game worlds gets too incestuous.

i think i'm making no sense now. my coffee kick is wearing off and the lady at the store apparently charged me for my tea but failed to put it in my bags and i have no caffine now. this is bad
