I don't necessarily agree. Garrus and femShep head bump I liked. Dry humping I don't (nor clothes off humping either) in video game. If there's romance scenes I want them to be classy (like in KOTOR). Leave it the rest for players imagination, they don't necessarily have to do it.

Just sayin' that if you want to watch p0rn, you can just, well, Google?

The issue with the Garrus and Femshep one, specifically, was clipping. If you look at this shot from a different angle:



His hand is going through her arm and into her boob.  They also sank him up to his knees in the deck plating so he can head bump her.  I'd prefer the chaste scenes if they can't get the clipping fixed.

Oh totally not saying I dislike the head bump, I just feel that romantic scene ended to quickly. And neither do I want porn. I understand there is a thin line between what is tasteful and what is vuglar. The romantic scene in ME1 was done very tasteful and I would like to see similar scenes like that in ME3. What we see in that scene was not porn at all, because quiet frankly there was no actually sex going on in the cut scene. If I want porn I would totally google it, hasn't stopped me yet. But I like I said I don't want porn, I want a romantic scene.

The romance scenes in ME1 were perfect, imo. Shows a bit of skin but at the same time very tasteful. I hope they come up with something along those lines for ME3.

Also, awesome video Aislinn! You poured a lot of love into that video and it shows. I like how there's a lot of stuff going on but it doesn't feel like they're all over the place. Good job!

I prefer the ME1 romance scenes as well. Sure there was an uproar over it caused by the media, but when you actually watch it you find that not only was it tasteful but very romantic as well. ME2's romance scenes.... it either bounced between cheesy, awkward, sexy (but not in a romantic way), to actually fairly romantic..... although I'm still bothered by how in ME2 some of the romances make Shepard seem like a creeper. Just sayin', please don't hurt me D8

see, i agree with this. plus side of da2 and me2 was that each romance scene was different - sexytimez to fit that character and their relationship. yes izzy jumps hawke because, hey, she's izzy. that's what she does. any hawke that goes for her is unlikely to object. garrus headbump is a sweet and friend-becoming-more-than-friend thing. totally fits a shep/garrus pairing, imo.

me1's was a lovely scene, imo. i think the music made it work well, truly. whatever the pixels were doing, the music clearly hinted this was not 'bow-chick-wow-wow' stuff. it fit the mood of shep + LI going to ilos perfect, imo

i'm hoping me3 has a little variety in the scenes (At least how they start) to give a clear nod to where the relationships are coming from. with than done, i seriously don't mind clothes off or on, so long as it fits the characters and the story. i just want it to clearly imply that shep and LI are back together - seriously back together.

my shep's been alone far too long.

Erm, that's a bit of an extreme reaction. DA2 (much like ME1 but not quite) had ALOT of emotion showing in the relationships you'd build with characters and your LI specificly. The 'need' to be with one another despite and/or because of the situation, the passion I've seen, the companionship? That's what I'm on about.
"Dryhumping" I don't really give a toss about; the convo's, the buildup, the first kiss etc, the aftertalks, all of that made it perfect for me. I'd say that's classy enough.

As to Isa's way of humping Hawke.. she's much like Jack in how she treats sex casually because she's THAT afraid to commit, they are both rich characters, but there will always be people that give them the trampstamp and leave it at that.

That's what I care about. Sex scenes "voi painua helvettiin" if you ask me. To be honest ME1 and ME2 are no where near the same level with KOTOR when it comes to that. KOTOR was just brilliant, the emotions in conversations, the buildup - everything. Seriously, there has never been a game that has moved me as much as KOTOR. Jennifer Hale did an outstanding job.

Have you played DA2 btw? I've played KOTOR and agree, but well, don't easily dismiss DA2, it really does have ALOT of good sh*t going on with the romances.

To add, the romances have always been the biggest attractor for me to Bioware games, though I like some aspects in certain games more then in others, overall they 'make' the games for me.
I don't have a great trackrecord finishing games, Bioware games make me work towards an emotional involvement with the story and the characters in a way that makes me stay hooked till the end. MORE is always gonna be better for me.

Having said that, I still want to see Thane and Garrus shirtless =P (aside from all the other stuff I want heh)

Personally i would approve if the romances in ME3 did something similiar to how it was done in DA2, the romances were designed to be unique and make all the romances special and i really like that, everything in the romances did improve it somehow.
