Sexy time? I don't really care as long as it's more cohesive after the deed. I know in ME Shep and Co had to contend with Ilos and what followed immediately after "that night," but damnit, I hate that John** can only talk "About our relationship..." forever after with Jack after the SM. Some dialogue progression in ME2 after the deed would have been really nice. Same with a "let's be friends" choice.

Junk food? Jane has a special 'ammo' pouch on her hardsuit that always has some nuts, dried fruit (galatic varieties, not just earth grown) and good old biltong (from care packages her mother still sends her from time to time; jerky for the non-South Africans) in it.

I imagine she tried battering and deep frying navy ration bars for $H1Ts at some point.  Not her brightest idea ever.

@red - Dakota makes the cutest derpy faces.  She's very expressive.

In regards to 'sex scenes' I have played pretty much all Bioware's games, and ME1 was the best IMO.  Most tastefully done, more like a scene from a movie, very cinematic.  If they have to put something in ME3, something like this would be good.  The ones from ME2 or DA were OK but I always felt slightly put-off because they felt like a video game.  The sex scenes actually made the romances a little less immersive for me because I found them awkward.

The scenes are my very least favorite part of the romances.  The buildup conversations, side flirting, acknowledgement from other NPCs that there is something going on, and differences in plot are what I'm looking for.  So long as there's a lot of development in those areas, a fade to black would be just fine with me.  A scene would be fine too, so long as it's well done.  Just saying it's not very important to me.

Edit - ME3 poses an interesting situation for Bioware in that there are continuing relationships which offers a huge opportunity for character development and RP options for Shepard.  It's the perfect opportunity to break with the talk, flirt, sex scene, final battle formula they have going.  I want to be immersed, not feel like I'm following a formula to get in some virtual pants.  I want to find real life bland and flat in comparison.  I want to say: ME3 ruined my life it was so awesome.  Make it so number one!

I recently purchased the Equalizer Pack so I could use the Archon Visor on my latest character, but I'm wondering if there's a known issue with the visor on a femshep because it just seems like it sits too high on her head with her eyes peering out. Maybe it's the camera angle making it look this way. Anyone have similar experiences?

Managed to get the flycam and some extra casual wear installed. Didn't blow up ME2. Yay!

Which sort of lighting and other graphics settings do you all use?

@Gilsa: Yeah, that's just how it sits. I haven't actually tried it on dudeShep but I don't know that it lines up all that much better on him. Kinda like how the Kuwashii visor reticle is higher than Shep's eyebrow.

But be aware it also doesn't seem to work. A while ago the guys on the strat forum did some time tests with Charge and the Archon didn't actually reduce the cooldown at all. Now, Charge is also not affected by the biotic cooldown upgrade so that may just be that one power, but I think they might have done some other testing too since the general consensus at the time was that it was bugged.

I like the look, though, so I modded it to improve weapon damage.

@Jane - Well, the name is harmonizing with her looks, I take it that's no coincidence. Very characteristic nose, and excellent proportions. Plus I have a weak spot for freckles. Too bad you can almost never see them in ME2

@Quething -- Thanks. I think I'll just run her with a different headset (or not) and then just go back and reshoot some scenes with the visor not looking so wonky. Too bad -- I really liked the orange bar across the face like that. Just feels "off" while running around so I turned it off. I like wearing headgear -- wish they would let us turn it on/off for cutscenes by choice without having to run to the Normandy every time. =p

I am currently downloading Mass Effect. I got ME2 for free when I bought DA2, but a few months back you great guys and gals agreed that I should try the first one. I finely have the funds so it's downloading now.

Now I have to decided...finish Penny's story in ME2 (I still have random side quests(like probing plants to find the ones with missions) and I'd be off to get the IFF and on to finishing the game.

Or...do I play Mass Effect and recreate her there and start over. decisions decisions.
