I've a Q on the Gibb s editor? How do I import the face? I'm not sure which file it is in the saves.

If you've been given a headmorph or already exported one then you should have a file called "name.me2headmorph". (name being the name of the Shepard you're importing).

If you don't have that file then you first need to export a headmorph from an existing game and then import it into your current game. All of which is done under the "toolbox" tab in gibbeds.

I'm sorry, I'm not making any heads or tails of the 2nd instruction. The toolbox has import / export buttons, yes. No face was available so I hit import and I'm sent to the directory. I presume the face is in the document/Bioware/Me2 save, I looked in the save of the char I want but I'm not sure which file it is. I just hit the char file but nothing appears.

I did search for instructions and they'said the same thing too; use the toolbox to import/export face but not where am I suppose to look for this file. I checked every save file in ME2, even configs. Maybe I'm dense / stupid but I don't quite get it.

You can create a headmorph for a character by loading a savefile for that character into gibbed, then opening up the 4th tab and selecting 'export headmorph'
This will save a headmorph file for that character with a name and to a location specified by you.

Then open up the savegame for another character in gibbed. Via the import option on the fourth tab, you can browse to the location of the headmorph file you just saved, and load it into that one. The only thing it will change for that save is the head of the character, nothing else.
You then resave the save with the replaced headmorph and you can load it up ingame.

A headmorph file can be in any folder you want it to be in. If you do not already have one then you need to create one first by loading a save game for the Shepard whose face you want and choose "export". Gibbeds will ask you where you want to save it.

After you have a headmorph load the game you want to use it in. Choose "import". Then navigate to the folder where you exported the headmorph, choose it, and then resave. You should see the new face in your game after that.

If you're still not clear then send me a PM and I will try to help you further.

Love that bottom pic. :)  I think Zaeed loyalty mission is far under-rated, I think its one the best.

My paragons should hate him, but they just cant :P

In fact DLC characters need more love <3

Ok, I get it. ... I think. So now I have a file of the morphface thingy, from a char ... no pix tho  I think there's suppose to be a face for me to work with but I don't see any in Gibb. Posted Image  This program feature is hard to handle. Haha, I give up. I'll stick with the one face I always make. Time to move along.

Thanks for the pointers, chaps. @Ottemis, @scampermax. Posted Image

Oh cool! From that comic alone i would say that Vega seems like a great character.
Chains.. my Shep is so going to ''love'' this

Hm. They made them pure mechanical locks or mechanical backups for Engineer Femshep, right?

Is there a certain number of cinematic lights that should be used to get this shot? Mine is set to 3, but I'm wondering if I should use 1 or 2 or some other setting...

Edit: Here's what I have so far...

I am currently downloading Mass Effect. I got ME2 for free when I bought DA2, but a few months back you great guys and gals agreed that I should try the first one. :) I finely have the funds so it's downloading now.

Now I have to decided...finish Penny's story in ME2 (I still have random side quests(like probing plants to find the ones with missions) and I'd be off to get the IFF and on to finishing the game.

Or...do I play Mass Effect and recreate her there and start over. :D decisions decisions.

Well, it's really up to you. I suspect that once you start playing ME1, you'll want to import those decisions into ME2 and keep playing Penny to perfection.  If you love the way Penny looks in ME2 right now, you can recreate her face in ME1 with this nifty code converter from Tup3xi.

Edit: Who knows, some of the events in ME1 may shape your perspective on some decisions in ME2. Just FYI, the controls are different in ME1. Takes a bit of adjusting to get used to. I had to play in windowed mode or alt-tabbing out would just lock up the game and force a desktop crash.

Thanks Gilsa, yeah, I think I'm going to start Penny over with ME1 so I can make decisions to import into ME2 and play the full game.
I know I'll play others then Penny as well. I mean, she is Thane's girl even though she won't see him until the second game. and there's a whole world out there. haha.

Yeah, I've heard that ME1 has different controls. I'm glad that DA and DA2 were pretty much the same.

Eee! I was inspired by your lovely femShep pictures to actually try and mod my ME2 game (I'm petrified I'll break it =\\). It's just a simple coalesce file change, but oh my goodness! Finally I can have flattering clothing that isn't labeled with Cerberus everywhere - just like my femShep would want it! Eeee, the black is so flattering. ^______^

That comics really got me thinking about Shepard lol. What could call for Shep being kept 'prisoner' on their own ship?

I only played Arrival once so i cant remember if their was a 'no way am i going to court' option. ... bah, who knows...
