It would start out w/ femshep having her boyfriend/fiancé (who looks just like Kaidan) killed right in front of her. This would prompt her weekly visit w/ the Alliance psychologist and would be the perfect lead into the traumatic experience she had w/ her parents and or sibling that probably involved a lake house. While she would be presented as a tough warrior during battle, femShep would need her “alone time” to cry or emote in such a way as to remind the audience that while she can kick ass she is still a delicate female and question if she really belongs in the “man’s” world. The first sight of an asari would instantly turn her into a bisexual. She would get hit on at least once and promptly kick the offending scumbag’s ass, gaining her respect and admiration among her crew, especially Kaidan who would be all for females being granted the opportunity to prove themselves in the Alliance military. And finally, while she would eventually make the military her career, it would be at the cost of her one true dream of being a mother.

Ashley is sad because it's true.

Jakarta is just exasperated because it's twenty-bloody-eleven and why aren't we over this sh!t yet.
