thats funny I read on another site that the film would be based on me1 does that not mean it will be set after me3 just because we know most of what happened in the past with shepard

plus if they are baseing it being male shep on the fact bioware said most people dont play as fem shep I really dont buy that stat if you look at all the created sheps on the face database there are way more femsheps plus just in my game its like 80% femshep 20% male

I highly doubt Shepard is male due to stats, correct or no.  It's based on the fact that every action film has had the same character archetype since Gary Cooper in Sergeant York. Believe me, we probably don’t want a femShep ME movie.

I was thinking as they have bioware guys working for them on the movie that they would have asked is shepard male or female and bioware could have said well most people play as male so male

Hmm. Interesting stuff the last few days. I'll admit to recreating my FemShep in other games. But it's more her idea (Redhead who's a Good Person) that's been in several games. One version had her run through NWN2 and while romancing the Paladin guy, staying single after he died. She is the Queen of Albion, though.

I did try and recreate her in New Vegas. I might start that up again now that I've beat ME2 again.

With Skyrim having the Creation Kit and full modding I expect an awesome crossover to happen   Yes I mean femshep shooting down Dragons with an M-8 Avenger!

Okay. I too tend to fall into the trap of blonde haired paragons and raven headed renegades. It's not like I think this is how it is in real life. I think I just like to associate color with alignment, blues with paragons and black & reds with renegades, and those hair colors just coordinate better.

I think this is why I actively made my pure renegade into a blue eyed blonde, since it's such a stereotypical Paragon look.
