Urania Jane (UJ) Shepard

1.Drinks the exact same brand of bourbon as TIM.
2.To meet her you would find her company pleasant, easy going and even diplomatic, but she has a dark side, (courtesy of Mindoir), that she unleashes on her enemies.
3.Likes to slam dance especially to The Clash and Patti Smith.
4.She is an alcoholic.
5.Is terrified of how much she is in love w/ Liara.

There is a very early version of "Urania" on the ME faces database. I don't think she got a very high ranking, so I doubt anyone would want her anyway, but count me among the pretentious bastards that won't share. ;) I recently gave out a facecode of Erica and I think April, but UJ is mine.

As for Kyrene's challenge, I did create a mirror universe of UJ sometime back only changing her eyebrows and eye color to a lighter blue.

And this is Melpomene, another experiment, who is based on UJ, though much more heavily tweaked.

Use the face code of your main (I'm talking about the Noahs, Kyries, Hrists–just how the hell do you pronounce that anyway?– Zodys, and others I cannot recall the names of at the moment)

I pronounce it as you would the word wrist (as in the thing your hand is attached to), but with a soft 'H' at the beginning. Hrist was the name of one of the valkyries from Norse mytholgy and was also the name of a character from the tri-Ace RPG series, Valkyrie Profile, which is where I got the name from originally. Of course I could be pronouncing it wrong myself. Who knows?

Tup3xi wrote...

1. Hrist is fluent in both English and Spanish. Though she was born in England, she grew up in Argentina.
2. Used her first Alliance paycheck to buy a memorial in memory of her childhood friend, James. She also had a small 'J' tattooed on the inside of her right forearm in his memory too.
3. Is very proud of her name as it's the only thing she has that her parents gave her. Only those who she is very close to get to call her by her given name.
4. She developed very weak biotic powers after being exposed to a small amount of eezo when she was ten years old, which she learnt to control without the use of implants by the age of eleven.
5. She can be quite sarcastic when she wants to be and loves winding up Joker.

Then you might as well jsut say "All these Sheps suck except for Zody. Joking or not it can be taken as a way to mock other people to make them feel like their creations are inferior.

Well I really can't help that you'd feel that way or choose to interpret it that way. You're also the only one who took offense to it, so perhaps you are taking it too seriously. Regardless, I am sorry if I caused you any offense. It was at worst in bad taste, but not at all as malicious as you make it out to be.

Oh and I really don't care if you find Kallen attractive, She could still kick the ass of anyone in this thread so that's all that matters.Posted Image

My point exactly. Thanks for agreeing with me. It takes a really insecure person who can be made to feel like their femShep is inferior by what gets said on an internet forum. What is inferior anyway?

How can you be sure? I may hav ebeen the only one to say something because of the last time someone brought conflict into the thread, and while I did not actually take offense to it, you may have upset other people by intentionally naming names but hiding them behind asterisks. as I said anyone in here could think you're talking down about their Shepard since you were not specific. Just something to think about.

And you've actually managed that out loud? Relax, that's just a gentle dig at ya. I imagined it's like Christ \\ˈkrīst\\, but without that ˈk sound at the start:– \\rīst\\

Look, you're making a mountain out of a moleshill here. If others were offended, I'd expect they would have at least PMed me, said something here or brought it to a moderators attention (if it was THAT offensive). You certainly don't need to fight this good fight on their sensitive (and imaginary) behalfs.

How could I have intentionally named anyone when I didn't name anyone? How could I talk down about anybody if nobody is named? How can you interpret ****'s **** as ADLegend21's Kallen and not also as Kyrene's Jane? Yes, how can you not include the possibility that I was poking fun at myself too?

I've apologised, what more do you want? If you weren't offended, then you protest too much and then this is all over nothing.

Sorry folks, now returning you to your regularly scheduled things regarding femShep. I'm definately bowing out of this one sided argument. ADLengend21, that means PM me with your next reply, as I won't waste more time in this thread with this pointlessness.

It was a questionable comment, but I gave it the benefit of the doubt, as with some of your other comments the past days that seem to be taking a dig at things/people, as that benefit is what anyone deserves, yes. It was sure to make someone speak up though, as it was worded.
But I have no intent to go too deep into it. My evening has been peaceful, and I like it that way heh.

As for my challenge, which seemed to have rubbed people up the wrong way too, here's my entry:

Despite the horrendous lighting in the CC (and no eyelashes), I think she rocks that Cerberus issue lipstick. Left is of course Jane, with her alter ego Anje on the right.

This is her Freedom's Progress shot. I think she may like the Cerberus colours (including the Cerberus men of colour) too much already.

I think she looks like a damn lioness in that shot. Pity the poor fool she's hunting...

I hate that no eyelashes bug, asif it's not hard enough already to see what you're doing in that CC.
That reminds me, I should twitter a question still about the rotate-snapping in the CC.
Edit, tweeted.

I've only just started, touched down on Eden Prime this morning, but this is the first time I've played as a ruthless and you can see the difference especially as I've normally gone as war hero but so far from what I've seen I think I will enjoy it!

Yeah, I only have one ruthless (and full renegade) myself, but I've always thought the combination of spacer/ruthless would be interesting because the shep might be more conflicted. My renegade has her few conflictions, but for the most part she a cold, calculating **** that only wants to get the job done.  A spacer has the parents to live up to though, so I figured that kind of shep wouldn't be as cold. I'd be curious to hear if you've encountered any interesting conflicts with your shep.

I kind of see it from the point of view that being a Spacer and growing up in that environment she would become desensitised to a lot of things and some people might see that as being cold but she's just realistic about it. Conflicted definatly but also realistic and not keen to let her shield down or dwell on things that she cant change ... unless it's someone special!  ... At least that's how I'm going to play it as

Honestly she's a little too pretty to be Jakarta and my inclination would be to cast someone who's actually at least Indonesian, but seriously, she'd nail it. She's got the presence, the charisma, the build, the smile.

Ottemis & me agree that Raine & Talia could be played by Olivia Wilde.
Both because she looks at lot like them, and because she's a great actress :)

1. She's allergic to mushrooms. Not really a problem with today's tech, but she's not sure why Miri didn't fix that.
2. A phenominal flute player, but she's kind of embarassed about it. Not very bad-ass and "Goddess knows I'm dorky enough". Prefers to draw attention to her mid-range bass guitar skills.
3. A touch dyslexic. Usually happens when she's really tired or drunk.
4. Hates pears. Loves apples, but can't stand pears.
5. Had a goth period between Mindoir and going to the academy.

As for who could pull off my Shepard. This girl, Right here.
