Talia wouldn't care being matched in rank by Ash, because holding the rank of commander longer, she could still order her around. Seniority and all that

Being outranked would be trickier, but i'm not getting into that since it is a long way up from gunnery chief to commander, or even Captain.
As far as I recall, that is not possible in two years, no matter the situation.

(Well, followed ELE and sagequeen's instructions on modifying coalesced to allow flycam in cutscenes and ME2 loaded. If the controls work out, I expect it'll take more time for me to complete games now. Muahahahaha.)

Canon: Knows there are more important things than rank, though she may secretly have some reservations about it. Getting used to change and all that

Full renegade: Couldn't care less.  As long as she can use people to complete her goal then rank is just a formality. If it impedes her command or mission then she'll take... measures to correct it.

Perfect shep: Still struggling with the bigger question of her role in the Alliance as it is.  She was super pro-alliance until they kind of betrayed her and now she's been disillusioned.  The rank issue will just be one of many issues she'll have to face.

I don't think any of my other sheps will care that much.

Definitely agree with this sentiment and Kate will be proud of Kaidan although things might be a bit awkward at the beginning.

If there was enough space, I could see the VS as the senior passenger getting their own stateroom (convert one of the lounges, perhaps)  But the Captain having a private stateroom is a sarcosanct tradtion that needs to be upheld.

For some reason Liara won't have a slumber party with Dakota. I don't know why.

A large amount of ME3's story has now been "spoiled" via a Russian BW forum. Someone hacked into the BETA, and was able to retrieve story files for what has been confirmed (by BW) to be little more than a rough draft of the plot and many of its characters.

Just a warning, be careful. Most people are honest, but I can't speak for everyone on this forum. Expect to see some troll threads pop up with "ZOMGS! SHEPARD ** ****** **** ** ****" in the titles,

Some of it is clearly filler scratch plot (its pretty evident what things are just too lazy to be final), but some of it is more or less what I expected. The endings however are way beyond anything I expected. Glanced at one of them, and...damn. 

Great Shepard by the way.

Thanks for the warning.  I'll add my own for femshep.com.  As most of you know we have a public chat over there and spoilers are already flying.  I've posted a noticed that ME3 spoilers will not be allowed on the site (except minor things that are fairly public knowledge). I want to keep the chat as open as possible, so I’ve asked all who participate to avoid posting spoilers in the chat. That said, I’m not there all the time, so those of you who frequent the chat, but do not wish to be spoiled may want to avoid it for a while just in case.  Thanks!

Should have provided some context:
The story takes place just after the Collectors have been dealt with, as repairs are underway on the Normandy and Rhea Shepard awaits the inevitable summons to appear on Earth to stand trial. Suffering from both physical and emotional stressors that are beginning to negatively impact her ability to command, Rhea takes extreme treatment steps that lead to disturbing new truths about her resurrection.



Edited to add: I figure if I work on a new story, maybe I'll be less tempted to go look for (or read when I stumble over) more ME3 spoilers. Hey - it's worth a try...

I was already worried about story-related spoilers popping up when the Beta accidentally appeared for the XBox, now it seems I was right in my assumption

I usually read on the ME-Wiki to keep the lore fresh in my mind, as there is so much of it that you can't remember everything, and with the release of these infos, one of my favorite pasttimes maybe unaccessible for the next few months... damn

yeah, I heard something similar, and due to the incessant flamewar going on in the new thread at the beginning of it (no Idea how the situation is now) many of the "oldtimers" here decided to stay here.
Maybe even if ME3 is released, at least I plan to, unless everyone deserts this thread.
