No, you make good points about the sidequests. The more I think about it, the more I like my final thought in that previous post: that she actually does them *after* taking down Saren and Sovereign and saving the Citadel. Since the game doesn't offer that option, I just do them when they become available, and pretend that they are actually happening in the future.

In truth, though, a lot of the side missions really don't make any sense to do considering the urgency of the main mission. It would have been better if the main mission had come up in dribs and drabs, being revealed more and more  as you explore more, and the side missions actually had connections that lead up to the main mission or provided clues and hints as to what you should be doing. I think this would have been better and would have caused the side missions and exploration to make more sense than how they just gave you the 3 main places to go right from the start, revealing the 4th place as soon as you complete any 2...

So, yeah... I don't have a definite grasp on when Artemis actually did the Rachni missions (and a lot of other missions that came up) for her canon story, but its important (to me and to her story) that those missions were completed.

The Therum mission does provide an excuse for the sidequests in the Artemis Tau cluster. Sort of. You can pretend you keep doing them while searching for the system with the Prothean ruins. That's my story and I'm sticking to it...

I was about to ask you when did it make sense for your canon to do the Rachni missions. I agree with you and KYRENE that most of the side missions don't make much sense and should take place after Sovereign's been dealt with. I'm gonna give your mission order -feros-therum-virmire-noveria-ilos- a serious try. If I really like it i'll put my canon through it.

I "discovered" Hercules system on my way to Ferros, and decided upon the Alliance request to quickly investigate that prothean artifact and recover the data module. Like you said that's the only way I can justify undertaking certain missions.


Saying that Lia Shepard looks good is a clear understatement.

This worked well because all my past Shepards have been variations of John Shepard (80% of them being Sheploo to boot), but not so well for Jane 1.0. And then she developed a crush on the most bad*ss mother, Zaeed, after punching him in the face on Zorya. So "forever alone" with Miri visiting her just before the SM.

So Kassia must choose Ashley to go with Kirahee. She'll then stay faithful through ME2 by default, again crushing on Zaeed. Yeah, I know, there are other LI options, but my Sheps are all slightly xenophobic and choose to sleep with other humans thank you very much. Hell, Jane 1.0 briefly considered joining Cerberus until she saw what a retarded douche TIM was.

Edit: Yeah, I know Jacob's human, but his mouth/teeth and Shep's sl*tty come-on lines creep me the hell out.

 I always felt a little bit of that reasonning in some of your arguments. i would have sent Alenko too. That's what my Katherine does on almost all of my playthrough. I also have a Sheploo who doesn't follow "protocol" for romantic reasons. As a result Kaiden ends up dying a lot.
TIM is a mega douche, no doubt about it. Cerberus has a dark past but there's a lot of good people working in there who rallied to TIM cause out of desperation.

Question for everydody
That comment about Jacob gave me an idea ( even though I strongly  dIsagree: i think he is a good catch by many standards ) what NPC or character would you like to have available for romance in both ME?( regardless of their importance ).

I really love that stuf. The covert aspect of ME missions. I have some fictional ideas about similar operations, about specialised small units; but nowhere near your talent to write them.  I really like what you doing. it is as good as reading a ME novel. I'm backtracking into the previous chapters right now.

That is an awesome mix of drama set up right there. Did you do the guys you did on purpose? (Roleplaying?) Or was it on accident and that is what end up happening?
