You only get to hear her and it's very brief, but Jennifer Hale records VO for femshep in the latest BW Pulse.

The person who dies...ah damn!
i'm excited about the possibility to explore Shepard's mind. Finally confirmation that we get to play with the valkyrie assault rifle as part of the standard package.
WRONG! have to preorder through Gamestop to get it.<_<

A dev (I think it was Chris Priestly) said that there are no plans to ever make CE exclusive items available later.

nah
it makes perfect sense.   The great thing about ME Character Creator is
it makes everyomes femshep look like sisters.    Even if it isnt my
femshep I know its my parallel twin from another universe rocking as
hard as my femshep would!

[smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/happy.png[/smilie]

Ok now that made no sense!  [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/joyful.png[/smilie]

@Captain Crash:Oh I totally agree I have been noticing that my Shep looks like she could be related to about 3 other FemSheps on this thread, but never thought of it that way.

"It's coincidental, I swear!" -my reaction to spending several minutes building a character on the CC, getting screenshots, posting them. Then realizing she looks like one of the others here.

i decided i MUST have a hoodie for shepard to match my own. it's like when i was a little girl and my grandma made outfits for my dolls to match the ones she made for me.

yes, THIS is what i want in games. guns, moar guns, hot men, femshep, and dress-up clothes. why not?

I think it is because of the pre-sets we use as the base for the faces, Rose uses default FemShep as her base so she bound to have similar features to other peoples FemSheps who use the default as a base.

Not so much that Rose, I think it's more the fact that certain eyeshapes/noseshapes are used more then others, and people are more often then not carefull with slider-extremes (jaw for one), which keeps Sheps closer together in therms of facial shape yeah, especially if they use the same head-structure.

As to likeness, in the eyes of many they all start looking alike when only haircolour and style match up, so to that extend we do quite well seeing/recognizing the character in each individual one on this thread as it being XY's Shepard.

To me, saying to someone that their Shep looks generic is comparable to a statement like "all asians look alike"; bullsh*t to those that take the effort to really look at them.

I've noticed that a very large part of this community seems to be playing ME on the PC. My question thus is, to what extent does the "Origin client may be required for playing ME3" (like it does for BF3) thing bother you?

i've been playing it on the 360 because that's where ME was first released, i didn't want to have to wait a year later for the PC version. i only know that you need origin for dlc or multiplayer. i don't believe that playing the game itself require anything, but i still need to check my facts.

Not at all, since it was an optional install for SW:TOR as well...and I almost never have it running on my system as it stands.... so it has had no tangible effect on me as far as as I'm concerned if EA wants to be that noisy...let them, they may not like what what find...but some of them may...

Not, ME2 only needed to be connected to activate DLC, and apparently SWTOR doesn't need to be linked to Origin at all.
Plus I can't be assed to worry about it, I want to play ME3 so /care
How about you?

Firstly, you can use Origin in offline mode. Secondly, BF3 will work in offline mode without even launching battle log. Thirdly, Im' not even sure if other Origin games need Origin client at all to be able to play the game. Crysis 2 did not. I've registered Mass Effect 2 DDE in Origin too together with Crysis 2, DA2:O UE and BF2:BC. As far as I know they do not need Origin Client at all, though I use Steam versions. BF3 is kinda special case.

I personally have nearly nothing on my gaming machine worth snooping in to begin with.  I am also aware Steam does a similar thing and nobody complains about that.  Origin is really, to me, just a method of backing up all my disc-based EA games.  The only thing I ever open it for is BF3.

Since all my personal files that are really important to me are located in a triple-secured hidden TrueCrypt Container, there is nothing worth snooping around for on my Machine either.
I don't have the luxury of having two PC's, one for work and one for gaming, but i've taken steps a few years back to secure my stuff as best I can, including encrypted external drives.

Posted this in a CE thread, but thought I'd share here too - was in Game earlier today and all the ME3 CE promo boxes were coverered with Femshep (and I couldn't see any Manshep anywhere). Pretty sweet :)

@AwesomeName

That makes me a jubilant dino!!

So I started a new ME1 playthrough w Kathryn the other day but something just felt off. I decided to put a scar on her eyebrow and she was in medium armor. I finally realized that those things weren't "her" and started over again. I loaded a new game plus and I watched her walk toward Joker in her heavy N7 armor in the beginning scene. It gave me goosebumps. It's amazing what little changes to her could affect me so much.
