FemShep rocks every time, and certainly has baddass-itude.
But, there are times it can be incongruous. I recently completed Mordin's loyalty mission in my 'canon' runthrough for Cara, and it made me laugh when Mordin had just delivered this really heartfelt and softly-spoken speech about the genophage, the pointless dying, etc and as it cut back to me being in control again, Jen Hale's voice suddenly came out with "I'll take it!"... I had just picked up an upgrade. I could not stop laughing for ages.
One thing that does make me worry about ME3 though, is the fact that we'll be taking on a lot of husks. I'm midway through the IFF mission at the moment, with the previous mission being an 'unexplored world' that had lots of Husks on it as well. Without fail, poor old Cara (my Sentinel) gets swamped by the Husks and has to use her [sarcasm] highly effective [/sarcasm] melee move to try and beat them off, as her teammates have generally run away (Why do they do that? I ask them to move to a position beside/in front of me and they retreat instead). Usually she just dies, and I have to restart that section. I worry that ME3 will be full of moments like this, at which point the game stops being fun and becomes more about enduring the teeth-grating annoyance to get through it and find something more challenging to fight.

Ahh some of the eyelashes just clip and that eyeshape is notoriously asymmetrical; not that that's bad, I rather think it adds character hehe.madzilla84 wrote...
Hello all.I just started playing Mass Effect 1 two days ago, and I love it so far! Although, I am absolutely terrible at it, lol, so I'm dying a LOT. But hopefully I'll learn.
I'm trying to get through everything in time for ME3, so it's a race against the clock...
Thought I'd drop in a pic of my first Shep! (I don't have the most powerful computer ever, which means I'm on lower graphics settings ... which has led to an odd graphics glitch where Shep's eyelashes clip into her brow over her right eye, making it look like she's forgotten her falsies on one side, or something.)

I don't know, I don't mean to say anything bad about possible motivators to keep Morinth over Samara, but even for a renegade Shep for me it seems like an overly 'sociopath' thing to do. It's not so much about killing Samara as it is about killing Samara over keeping Morinth.RainyDayLover wrote...
*de-lurks*
Hey! I've never posted in this thread but I've been a lurker for the longest time...
First things first, femshep is AWESOME (obviously)
Secondly, I've a question I've been meaning to ask you renegade femsheps. Who did you choose to kill in the mother-daughter standoff, Samara or Morinth? I've looked at the arguments on both sides and I'm really on the fence about this. Now, my renegade femshep is not downright sociopath; I've still made a lot of major paragon decisions (i.e. saving the Rachni, Council etc.) but I honestly can't justify killing Morinth for some reason.
So I went ahead and killed Samara just now and I felt even worse. It's basically come down to this...I'd have no problem whatsoever offing Samara if it wasn't for the fact that she'd swore an oath to Shepard. My femshep always honors her word and killing Samara seems like stabbing her in the back. Other than that, the Justicar is just as dangerous as the Ardat-Yakshi in my books.
Argh, decisions.

Vanguard has a power called nova, which throws everyone back around them and does damage, at the cost of Shep's shields. Maybe relevant to your interests?Timberley wrote...
Edit: Ideally, I'd like my biotic Sheps (they're all Biotic characters to some degree) to come with something akin to the Jedi Consular 'Wave' from SWTOR, which I can use to throw everything around me away, to give me a bit of breathing space. It's not likely, but it would be nice.
