For the question choosing between Samara and Morinth, it is very simple. As all my femshep think Morinth is a time bomb which will go off anytime whenever of of the Normandy crew give her a chance to take advantage, doing the SM is already enough trouble and setting another one right inside the crew? Not a chance!

Edit:
In fact, the typical East Asian preset face #3 can't really make a Asian face as it intents to deliver. It took me about couple days to somewhat perfect her look to what you see now, tbh I am not 100% happy with it since at some angle, her face is strangely rounded too much. I suspect is the skeleton which behind this weird looking but there's nothing as the player could do...

I guess the hours in CC is worth everything since you can identify her as a Chinese, mission accomplished!

It's a good shot.  I've used a similar pose for both of my FemSheps.  Katie had that 'uniform' on, whereas Cara (see left), is wearing the black & purple version 1 of Liara's armour that scampermax made.

I agree with you about Morinth. I did however, like RainyDayLover, pick her over Samara for just one playthrough because i'm intrigued by her statement that she represents the future of her race. I hope by making that move that she'll provide us with some answers if there's any truth to that.

My Shep's called Laura, and she's a soldier/colonist/war hero. In fact, there's a bit of headcanon I have for her based on the war hero background - I got the assignment where you encounter Heliat/the trap, but I ballsed it up after disarming the bomb - went outside, found all the mooks surrounding the Mako, got totally overwhelmed (Garrus went down), ran away and retreated to the Normandy. Shep was resolved to go back and get him, so they went back in the Mako later only to find everyone was gone. She was PISSED.

It was interesting how a bit of my Gameplay Fail ended up as part of her story. 

In a lot of situations,  what Laura did is the right thing to do. But i can understand why she would be pissed.

Q: are we still excited about the femshep trailer? I mean, we get to check out the new design when the demo is released so the trailer won't have that reveal (assuming the trailer won't be out before the demo) and a single trailer shortly before the game is gonna be just a blip on the radar.

From my personal perspective: No, not anymore !

I know that a Trailer involving femShep would only be released shortly before the game is released as well, but at least a bit of the promotional material that we have seen so far could have been with femShep, and it wasn't (like the Gameplay videos or stuff like that).

I'm content that femShep will be on the Box of the Collectors Edition and that I can play as femShep, the rest of it doesn't really matter much to me anymore, the hype is definetely over...

I've never looked at the femshep trailer entirely as a promotional item. Part of it was also ( personal ) gratification. That's why I'm still excited about it even if it won't accomplish much in terms of publicity.

You're damn right I want a FemShep trailer. It's a real, solid piece of marketing representing her that we STILL don't have. We've been fighting for it for a very long time.

It's upsetting we haven't heard any updates on it's status.  If they don't deliver, there will be a lot of raging all over the place (myself included).

Neither did I, but appearently the guys at EA or BioWare think of it in this regard.
So I have very little hope that we'll be seeing anything until the release of the game is at hand.
It'll be the same Launch-Trailer, albeit with femShep instead of Sheploo.
I'm still very much looking forward to the game, but regarding the trailer, i'm not that excited anymore (and it's not the problem that I don't believe the Launch-Trailer will be great or anything).
Come February we'll get the demo, and that I believe will tide us all over until the final game is released, trailer or no trailer.

EDIT: I'd still like a trailer before the game is released, but I doubt that'll happen, even from the most positive viewpoint.

Not for a single moment has i been less excited about the trailer. That it's happening is what i care(d) about from the very start and that hasn't changed at all. I don't care that it's not the biggest deal on the internet or in ME3. I'm just happy and excited as it is right now. It took damn hard work and i'm really proud of everyone that involved themself and continue to do what they can do remind Bioware that FemShep exist.
Some people might not be as excited and some may even be cynical and negative about how Bioware have taken care of this but i can't be bothered about that to be honest. FemShep got her trailer and that's awesome as heck

What makes it even more raging is the fact that a lot of others things that weren't even on the radar when femshep trailer was announced ( multiplayer, special gun promotion ), got done. And we still haven't heard anything about how femshep even look in the game. I love guns but...

I'm not totally sold on that either. One thing the "road to a femshep trailer" made clear to me is that there's an incorrect perception of who femshep fans are and what %age of the ME fanbase they represent.

The longer we wait for the Femshep trailer the more footage they will show for it. With all games the launch trailer is always the most epic and emotional. Personal I'm hoping for the Femshep trailer being part of a duel launch trailer right before release.

Lucky 13 is right, if by March 6th we don't have the trailer...THEN panic.
