I really can't wait to see the character creator in the full release.  Jessica in the demo isn't bad... but isn't great either.  I'm hoping the straight import works.

Oh hey I just had an idea.  Since they use similar assets and file structures, do any of our modders think it would be possible to transfer stuff from ME3 into ME2, or vice versa?  Like say... a certain hoodie model?

I wish! Unfortunately, Mass Effect 2 is a pain to mod as it is. You essentially have to trick the game into letting you use models in certain situations. It gets fairly convoluted, and a lot of the time you have to force the game to load specific files in order to get it all to work. Pass through a loading screen and BAM, you gotta load it up again.

Unfortunately, programs like Texmod exist because we aren't able to recompile .pcc files in a way that will actually work with the game. These files contain textures, models, etc. If that were possible, you could just replace the files or even add new ones.

It's really too bad there isn't a toolset for this game. I'd love to see what people could come up with if they weren't limited by said roadblocks.

I'm not surprised that there isn't, started off as a Microsoft-sponsored title, and Microsoft are paranoid SOB's. Now it's sponsored by EA, who are just as bad.

I hope for Chig's sake that Ashley's old hairstyle is importable.

I really love that. 

And that pic is growing on me. I hated it at first, because I thought she looked weak and falling down on her butt. I'm beginning to like it though. Your manip has helped with that.
