The mood of what? I do not know this ME3 of which you speak.

As for Jessica engaging in some Chinese swearing...

"Tah mah de!"

Which may be an even more serious insult to an asari than it is a human...

@Sable
TMD is a mild swearing in Chinese, I could tell you the most 'intense' one in PM if you are interested XD

I will mostly be a stalker in ME3 thread and try not to 'add oil upon the fire'. It is good to be back home - here, this thread :)

My asari phrasebook says it's a killing insult far worse than remarks about pureblood ancestry, and translates roughly as:
"Your father was a space hamster and your mother smells of elderberries."

Really?  I thought it roughly translated as "mother****er".  Granted I'm going off Firefly quotes because I have zero ability to speak, read, or translate Chinese.

@ Sable Phoenix. Still blows my mind what a striking looking femshep you've made there. Got any face building tips? I'd still really like to get a femshep with a mixed indigenous Australian look, which I've managed a sorta kinda vaguely in ME2, but in the ME1 face maker my results are more Hispanic. That's okay and fits in with the regional accent anyway, but it's just not what I'm trying to achieve.

BTW, just read your sig. I'll be chuckling about that all evening.

Well, I did go to art college, so I know the average proportions of the human face and what layouts are considered beautiful.  My actual goal with Jessica was not to create someone beautiful per se (although she is pretty), but to create a face with character.  Hence the nose.

I'd recommend such books as Burne Hogarth's Drawing the Human Head and Andrew Loomis' Drawing the Head and Hands as good primers on the proper arrangement and proportions of the human face.  Very useful stuff to know since the ME character creator basically does NOT follow these rules and you can come up with some real monstrosities if you don't know what you're doing.

As for an Aborigine-influenced Shepard, I just threw something together in ME1's character creator (which I'm pretty darn familiar with by this point).  Not sure if it's what you're going for, since you did say "mixed", but maybe it'll give you something to build off of.  The sliders are listed below; each slider starts at 1 for the far left, and the number after each option is the number of clicks to the right it needs to be set.

This is my fem!shep - Aurora Shepard. I have no idea what settings I used, I remember spending about an hour playing around with the creation in ME1. I'm lucky she imported well throughout the game with only mild tweaks - this is her in ME3. I love her to bits, definitely one of my best creations in any game. I love everything about her, the voice and personality suit her so well. I don't think I could ever make another femshep besides her *gushes*

Ooh, thanks. Very helpful, I hope. I'll look at the links in detail before having another go and that face is certainly more the direction I was hoping to go. I said mixed heritage partly because I think it's be a bit easier for a newbie and partly because there's a fair number of indigenous Australians in real life who have mixed ancestry. It'll also help fit in with a backstory that's starting to form in my head to explain why she's going to have an north American accent.

Jaime, did you have to widen that mouth to get it to work? Jessica uses that mouth, and I know I did.

I've shared this comparison picture before:

@Sable - Actually, I had to shorten the width of the mouth to make her work, but I did have to thicken her lips quite a bit. I also had to mod her eye shadow and lip gloss to get something resembling UJME2.

I went to this page (http://social.biowar...index/9996307/1) and used Gibbed to restore UJ’s makeup. (just scroll down to How to darken makeup to make your femshep look more like ME2). Sable, not sure if you’ve seen it, but you can mod the original sexy hair back into the game. That is what Erica uses. If you are interested, you can find it on ELE's blog: http://social.biowar...62/blog/211693/

@Mestesso – Thank you! I always thought your Shep was gorgeous.

@Hyper & Rah – Your Sheps transferred over well.
