And here is the screenshot i was fighting for all along. You'll excuse that guy that's not femshep, won't you? My femshep is rather fond of him, as you can see.
and oh, how i love femshep's face in this. it is SO hot! i'm just not good enough at photoshop to make kaidan's nose not be IN her face:

I would hate it for the having to redo the story a few more times with any character I have on 360 and the switching between controller play and mouse play. I'm just so used to shooters being with a 360 (and I have a fair amount of skill with it) that I would just get so frustrated me thinks.

You do good work, sagequeen
edit: @rynluna: with patience you can easily build a nice homerig for around $1200 and that's with a lot of shinies added.

You do good work, sagequeenOnly suggestion I'd make is to make sure things like film grain, motion blur and depth of field is turned off in the game. Film grain in particular is a total PITA when it comes to getting screenies.
ooh, thank you. i will do that. some of those screenies are so grainy because i took them from across the room and then cropped. still getting used to camera placement.

I notice people are sharing their FemSheps, and I want to share mine. Forgive the bad quality camera shot; taking photos of TV screens does not a good photo make.

This is Zorya (before people ask, I named her before I even knew of Zaeed's loyalty mission. Zorya is a Ukrainian name/word). She's a Colonist/Sole Survivor. She's not the first Shep I did (she's my second); I actually made her so I could have a Paragon playthrough that stayed loyal to Kaidan, but as I played her in ME1 I got to be very fond of her and almost got her to level 50. I would consider her my second "canon," Shep.
But when ME2 came along, I changed her look so much, went from an Infiltrator to a Sentinel, and some of the choices I made for her didn't fit her character profile. So I retconned her all the way back to ME1, using her ME2 facial reference.

I've been mostly lurking for a while now, and you guys all have awesome FemSheps! And the modding capabilities make me wish I had a PC, although ME is lovely to play with a Xbox controller.
You can get some modding on the 360, if you don't know. We don't get all the cool stuff like costumes but we can get hairstyles and such (and get rid of the need for planet scanning!!!). I did it today, rather nice and allows me to run through my canon shep with every choice I want as I get to move all the Paragon/Renegade points to her from the first playthrough to the start. So I've got full bars on both at the beginning. Quite cool to be honest as it allows me to RP with her rather than make some choices just to get the points needed for loyalty missions.

I've started a new character. I kept the same look that I usually have. That's because most of the FemShep faces look very much alike. It's hard to make radical different looking chars. Any thoughts on this?
I think there will be some degree of similarity because of the choices we're offered. A lot of people have the longer-haired Shepards, or the bob cut.
I find that my 3 FemSheps look similar, despite their differences. I also find it amusing that they're all European-esque, while all my MSheps are mixed-ethnic (not intentional at all, still interesting though).

I'm the same. All my Femsheps look similar in facial structure, it's mainly minor details. I have three; one if a tweaked version of defualt shep, one if a even further tweaked version of tweaked default shep and the third, my main, looks similar but was made from 'scratch'.
I think hairstyles/colour and minor details, like complxion and facial structure make a difference in it. They look somewhat similar but different at the same time.

@ jedi: are you referring to my more risque screenshots? just put flycam on the left side of the bed and wait.
Yar. Trick is when you want to try changing the angles to avoid most of the glitches in the animation - that's harder than it looks.

I was more commenting that I agree, all my femsheps look similar, but they also look somewhat different with a bit of tweaking. The three I have, two are based of the same ME1 import (Jane Shepard) yet with a changing of a hair colour for the one and a tweak of facial structure (this was at the beginning with a new game mind) the one Jane Shepard looks different from the other, even though they come from the same ME1 face.
I think it's somewhat hard to create a truely unqiue face for a character, but enough can be done to make them unqiue in their own way. At least in my opinion.

It's a combination for two things first the Mass Effect character creation system is quite limited and it's further hampered by the personal taste of the creator. Every person wants something very specific from the system without much awareness they tend to include these attributes into anything they make as such a certain generalized style starts to appear. In the Dragon Age toolset I created 21 player characters, if you looked through them certain aspects and features would start to show up again and again. So we sort of block off options because we don't like them thus further limiting an already limited system. Similarities that appear across the board are likely because many FemShep designs are supposed to be "Attractive" as such they have features that are considered aesthetically pleasing and proportionate. Thus a sort of general similarity appears amongst them with the only seperations being the taste of the individual user and their respective knowledge of both the character creation system and proper facial proportions.

@sage--you have some really cool screenshots of Kyrie with glowing eyes. Is that through Overlord DLC?
this?

Yes. and @ jedi: omg, yes. esp. as femshep+kaidan puts femshep into the ashley/liara mocap and so she teleports across the room for a minute. the "bedside" shots were just sort of lucky. i had the camera there, scene jumped, then moved the mouse and "whoa!". i hit screen capture as quickly as possible.

Exactly! I had the same problem I was all "whah?" then just kept hitting the key. I actually found out there's a console command that lets you slow down the scenes, so they play at quarter or half speed, if you want that. Good for some long shots once the camera is positioned as you can still pan with the mouse as the scene is playing
