Just a small test - now I'll have to do some recolors. Many thanks to FireEye

That's a pity. Not having Dragon Age however wouldn't make me sad in retrospect.mashavasilec wrote...
well yes BDA is the best one but i don't have it unfortunately
I'd probably use regular armor if its stats were worth a damn in comparison.

I think a lot of people would be interested. It seems you are on to something and it may explain how things work. It looks like you have a healthy interest in the matter and want to be as objective as possible. That's good. That's better than defending BW or attacking them without a good reason. Maybe it'll even draw attention from the devs and maybe they'll be interested to fix it in a patch or ME3. Who knows? If you don't shoot you won't hit anything. If you cannot find any posts related to it, then you might as well try anyway. If others already did then you'll know that soon enough. It might also keep the topic warm.Christmas Ape wrote...
I have not, mostly because that's as extensively as I've researched the matter and I'm not sure it hasn't already been figured out by someone who put more time into it. If the general feeling is "Tell it from the mountaintops", I'll get about confirming it with some test subjects selected without personal bias and make it known.AngryFrozenWater wrote...
@Christmas Ape: Thanks for figuring this out. Did you start a thread about this? If you did not then I think it deserves some broader attention than just the FemShep thread.

Hey look at that 200 pages and an article on FemShep's awesomeness, reading the comments on the article just reminds me of trying to convince my friends that a female Shepard was really great in ME1. Once I wore a few people down enough to give it a shot a few actually came back saying they were angry about "wasting" a whole playthrough with a DudeShep Soldier. Also I noticed Danielle got in the big collage of Sheps how awesome! At the very least I should show off her latest redesign, LOTSB totally sucked me back into ME and finally got me to re-tweak Danielle.
This screenshot is awesome! Really pretty Shepard and the pose is fantastic.
If I wasn't seeing a krogan shoulderpad at the edge of the screen, I'd swear she was flirting hard with someone in this shot. Arched torso, tilted head, quirked mouth... everything about that body language says she should be in an evening gown instead of an armor suit right now.
This is taken while talking to the dull-witted krogan on Korlus right? I do NOT remember a camera angle like this...

and i must say... i enjoyed it more than the male playthroughs. alltho in ME2 when talking to jacob se turns into a horny chick from the second line
tho i started again from ME1 this weekend with a male shepard to play through with different choises. my goal is to have allmost every big choise char to be ready for me 3 (love story, me1 ending choise, me2 ending choise, me2 love story choise (cheat or not to..) and male and female chars).
yes im really badly hooked on Mass Effect.

Omg, that expression
You are the screenshot master, akodo
Hmm, maybe if she'd used that expression on Hock in the Kasumi DLC he wouldn't have turned down the gorgeous woman in the black dress in order to monologue, eh?

Akodo, I love your Shepard. She is one of the few I instantly recognize and on top of that she's absolutely stunning in that cute way of hers.

Yeah. FemShep is pretty cool. I think she draws you more into the story than MaleShep. So I understand that your game lasted a bit longer playing her.Platonius wrote...

I am male too. I often hear that guys don't want to play as a FemShep, because they cannot identify with a female PC. This is a third person game in which you control a chararcter that you see. To me that means that I am not really standing in her shoes. With a first person perspective I have the illusion that I look through the eyes of the player character. In that case I would understand that one identifies more with the hero. At least that is how think about it.

Oh no no no, far be it from me to disparage the sexiness of military hardware. I was just saying that the pose in that screenshot is something you would expect to see in the ballroom, rather than the battlefield.

But in 3rd person games, especially RPGs I like playing a sexy Fräulein that likes to engage in girl on girl action.
I'm extremely cool with same sex romances though. I'd jump at the possibility to play MaleShep if it meant I could make him get it on with Kaidan or Jacob (Heavy risk... but the priiiize!). I love how MaleShep aproaches Kaidan exactly the same way as FemShep does in ME1.
@Sable Phoenix: I can't see her legs but I think stands like that quite often in the course of ME2. And maybe she's just surprised.
In my opinion the belt chestpiece thingy is most appealing, especially in rearview.

Indeed that was where I took it, knowing Danielle Shepard it was a slightly renegade response that got her to look like that. A bit of an attitude comes across in a lot of screenshots of a renegade FemShep, though admittedly I worked pretty hard to ensure the face design worked as well as possible with the animation system I've tested it and tested it over and over again and redesigned her 3 times. Though it is a happy coincidence that she tends to raise one eye brow when she's doing a renegade response, probably makes her look more flirty than she actually is.
