At least you've figured out how to /get/ a sig, LOL. I can't even seem to find where to add one.

In all seriousness go to forum settings

In the signature put [*img] tags that link to an image of appropriate size. Apparently this thread has a group where the sigs for this specific thread are located. And you are good to go

Interesting trivia from the Redemption page in ME Wiki:

Observing Shepard's body in issue #4, Tazzik states that it's "hard to tell if it's even a man or a woman, blown to hell like that"—a playful reference to Shepard's gender being player-determined.

Wasn't there a typo in a Redemption announcement somewhere that actually called Shepard a she??  I wish I could remember where I saw that/where it is.

Legion as a Bob? Opens up new possibilities in synthetic/organic relationships... But I digress.

I wonder if Legendary Pictures will be as daring as I hope and release 2 versions of their ME movie. Bear with me:

At the root of the ME experience is a story that has a different outcome depending ont a player's choices. Why not transfer some of this over the silver screen by releasing 2 slightly different versions of the story? In every movie, hours of material never make it out of the editing room. Stunt doubles seamlessly substitute for the lead actors, helped in recent years with CGI... Scenes not involving the main character do not need to be shot twice, off-screen voices can be edited/replaced.

You love FemShep? You can watch FemShep save the Council and Kaidan. You love MaleShep? You can watch him sacrifice the Council and save Ashley. You're a ME fan? You get to enjoy 2 slightly different movies with a completely different main character. It's like your own "Director's Cut", but with the added advantage that it's never been done before...

And it would give FemShep some long deserved media exposure! Image IPB

So listen up, Casey and Ray: you've made a landmark game with your ME IP... what's stopping you from making a landmark film? You WILL be executive producers, after all...Image IPB

Ah...the movie.  I thought we had dismissed this claim....

I love your idea and I've seen it elsewhere but the little pessimistic gnome that lives inside me says they won't spend their resources on two separate movies.

If the movie is about "Canon" Shepard, then I will try my best to ignore the movie's existance.

I really hope Shepard is not in it at all except as a distance shot and the words there goes Comander Shepard.  I won't be paying out however much it is to see a movie with Shepard in it, male or female.

It was in an announcement on the ME2 home page...the announcement is gone now.

Yeah, I will catch the movie if they don't canonize Shepard and instead focus on something like the First Contact War.  I like your idea about a distance shot.  It could be a sillhouette of Shepard and we would not be able to tell if Shepard was male or female.  That would be pretty neat-o.

Im a big enough sucker that Ill watch it no matter what, probably, but a male Shepard lead will definately make me cringe.

If Shepard is to be included in the movie (which unfortunately is the more likely outcome), then it would DEFINITELY be a male character. It's pretty much common sense at this point.

Adept is my favourite class, by the way. Alot of people say that biotics and the Adept class is weaker in ME2. I disagree, it's just different. I am still able to play the game whilst rarely firing my pistol, like in ME1. It's very fun, and Warp explosions are very enjoyable to execute!

I agree.  The fist time I played Adept I was a bit put off but then I tried the shockwave and liked it.  I was also able to do a few nice combinations with the other NPC's that were fun.    I like shockwave especially when the husk are all attacking I've found the shockwave works really well.  But i do like the combat drone.

The movie will definitely feature a male Shepard character, yes.

I don't want to see the movie if Shepard's in it, regardless of gender.

Unfortunately, on higher difficulty levels Shockwave is all but useless for killing Husks as they have armour. What I thought was an effective tactic was to have two squadmates with Warp accompany you, like Miranda and Thane, which can strip off their armour fairly quickly. Then, select Slam as a bonus power and it will wipe out the unarmoured Husks instantly. It also has a very brief cooldown.

Plus, Slam is excellent when used in combination with Singularity!

In theory?  Center it around other events of the Mass Effect storyline, or simply other aprts of teh amss effect universe.  Its a HUGE, and really awesome setting.  You could come up with countless stories to tell in it without directly involving Shepard and the Reapers.

In practice?  You really can't.  Shepard and his battles ARE the Mass Effect franchise to most of the public (sadly).

Has anybody else noticed that FemShep's eyes look incredibly bizarre if you remove her eyeshadow in the character creator? Realistically, it is necessary to have her wear eyeshadow in order for her eyes to look normal. I don't mind, though. The eyeshadow is sexy!

Good... I thought I was the only one who felt this way.  Infact... the eyeshadow is the only makeup I put on femshep.

I've noticed that Sheploo is the only good looking manshep.  It is like they deliberatly made the sheps that you can customize look like apes.

I also noticed it.  I don't wear makeup and I wanted Shepard to be free of the grease but I now use eyeshadow and lip gloss.

<sigh>  all of my male Shepards look like someone only their mother could love.  I keep saying personality is important, looks aren't but I am not sure they believe me.  I did have better luck with ME2.
