Does anyone RP their Shepard as being pro-Cerberus?

I'm curious about how y'all RP your FemSheppies.

My renegade was just a tough chick who did what it took to get the job done in ME1, but I've recently retconned her into a total space racist in order to have at least one character who agrees with Cerberus. It's much harder roleplaying her for me, and I haven't finished her playthrough in all this time despite finishing with my paragon three times already. I just prefer playing as someone more idealistic than you have to be in order to justify with TIM. Yeah, you may currently have the same goals, but the path of least resistance isn't always the best, and even if she defeats the Reapers with the help of Cerberus, the galaxy needs to co-exist peacefully afterward. At least, that how I see it, and that's how my paragon sees it too.

My renegade is now taking the "anything to get the job done" and "might makes right" approach to galactic diplomacy. We'll see how that works out. It will be interesting to see if working with Cerberus and saving the collectors base makes a significant impact on the ending of ME3. I hope it does.

I have one renegade FemShep, actually only one renegade Shep in total, and she really doesn't like cerberus and even tho she saved the collector base she is just waiting to see what TIM does with it and if she need/can do anything about it. Non of my Paragons support Cerberus, but 2 of them tolerate it and propably don't try to destroy it (if it ever be possible) if TIM keeps out of her way. Rest of them really don't like it. :) Then again I don't think any of my Sheps like Council either. (Really hoping chance to go and tell them. "I told you so" in ME3)

I may need to make one that does support Cerberus, but I'm really sucky at RP:ing renegades. (Alltho one more playthrou with FemShep always tempts me.) :)

Thanks for all the replies...I was curious. My Paragade hates Cerberus, and my Renegon will too when I get her through ME1 into ME2.

Question for Thane romancers. Do you think Thane is in love w/ femShep whether the she returns the affection or not?

So I know this question was back a few pages, but I wanted to toss in my thoughts.

I think friend-zone Thane highly respects Shepard, but as for if he loves her if she doesn't return those feelings, no, I don't think he does.  I think he's thankful for the chance to make a real difference, even if it's only Shepard's team that knows the real story and I think he admires Shepard as a leader and a skilled combatant.  But love isn't something he's actively looking for.

Yeah, I can't play a character until I've sat down and thought out their personal history, their personality and quirks, their motivations, hopes, fears, etc. If I don't, I lose interest quick. Playing ME1 helps to shape some of these things for your Shepard going into ME2, and the default ME2 Shep simply lacks these.

I wrote my fanfic just for that reason. Well, that and I could not figure out why any sane paragon would join Cerberus. Still not sure I like my reasoning, but yeah.  This is why I ended up with my main as a colonist/war hero. She could not walk away from the missing colonists, though she knows she's being used and she dislikes it.

incidentally, finally reconstructed my main in ME1 with desired tweaks. >< took long enough.

Blonde is usually not my thing, but by Grabthar's hammer, she's gorgeous! Very sweet girl!

thanks! blonde femshep is hard to make, imo - having worked endlessly to create one that i loved enough to play through 3 games. this is incarnation 2.5 so ah...yeah. a few hours with the character creator for that one. (hours? cough.)

Blonde FemShep is hard to make...I have yet to create one that I'm satisfied with, preferring brunettes.

I usually play redheads in games when given a choice, but due to a fantasy character I really like, I used to make blonde female paladins in games like BG2 and NWN. My paragon Shepard is like a futuristic version of those characters.

Sage's blonde is a more natural looking, pale blonde, I love that look. I gave my Shepard a slightly darker skintone and brown eyebrows just out of habit.

@ teen: i still think your femshep looks like sharon stone - and that's awesome! yeah, kyrie's the futuristic version of a farmgirl turned marine, so i totally went for that vibe for her.

I've had two FemSheps that willingly pulled on the black and gold and swore to stand for Earth before others.

Kerri considered allegiance as the rationally considered outcome of a means-to-an-end mindset; Cerberus are just humanity's Specters, tasked with safeguarding the species above all over concerns and ultimately still supported most by galactic stability. There is no human dominance during a full-scale inter-species war, after all - but it's probably still better than living under the Heirarchy.

Sara, however, would have put it more simply after Mindoir and Torfan. "Once you've had a boot on your neck, the only thing that makes you feel any better is a neck under your boot."

The reason I brought up the Thane romance question is that I tried to do it/ a femShep and was going to do it just 'cause, but then I thought about her motivations for the attraction. It wasn't love or even affection, but compassion, so I broke it up. Thane then agreed, but responded that he would always hold her in his heart.

As to Jacob, I tried to do a femShep Jacob romance once and it broke my computer. I took that as a sign. Thanks again.

@ sage & jwalker--lovely femsheps!

Sorry about losing Kyrie again, sage, but now you can play with her again! And did you mod the blonde colour? It doesn't look like the lightest, bleached unnatural blonde on the ME1 slider. It looks like a natural very light blonde.

muahahaha! it begins again...

and no, that is not a custom blonde for ME1. i would have done, but i cannot figure out how to hack the ME1 files that way. that is simply the regular blonde + my screenshot secret (picasa warmify - oh no, secret's out!)

Posted Image

i will totally hack the hair color come ME2 though. i am not a fan of the default blonde.

And I love your FemShep too Teen! You guys made awesome blondes.

Wish I could hack. I can on the Xbox, but I don't want to potentially mess up the system.

Same here Brody. Any chance of messing up my 360 is a no go. So I guess bearing with defaults will have to do.

Alright, time for me to jump on the bandwagon and show off my canon Earthborn War Hero Infiltrator Paragade femShep.  Yes, I realize she's got the infamous Face Structure #7, but I couldn't make the combination of other features I wanted work together otherwise, and the choices for the nose, mouth and eyes are all among the lesser-used options (especially the equally-infamous Mouth #1).  In my head she's of Arabic extraction, hence the olive skin and aquiline profile.

Humanity's Spectres, side by side.  The Reapers are screwed.

Don't call her 'Princess'.  It tends to have negative effects on your dental work.

Looks like the hero worship among the crew has already started...

"This is wrong, Captain."  She's so earnest.

"We can't fail. Because I'm just that bad-ass."

This is an awesome face.  She just looks like a Marine... tough and angular.  One of the few times I've seen one of the really wide noses work well outside of a black character.  Also one of the only good blondes I've seen, as others have mentioned.  She has a sort of Starbuck feel to her.

Someone mentioned the mouth, yeah, I don't like the fact only 2 or 3 variants are neutral, and the rest I'd like to use is "smiled". Marge's first face had different sets of nose/mouth, she got more character than now (and was made in hurry tbh), but ME2 import and lights showed me how undone that face was. I still have her saves thou. But she needed major skills/look rebuild.

I'm still struggling to make my look alike Shep, but somehow there's no combination that would match. All I come up with is some pretty-ish girl with unnatural cheek and jaw line in half profile.
