Personal stuff

Romance: Kaidan in ME1 and ME2

Why Shepard and her LI are such a great match: Kaidan is sweet and strong and loyal. Everything Ilse needed to get through whatever the galaxy throws at her. She is very confused as to what went on at Horizon, and why the "reply" button on her email isn't working, but she can't wait to see Kaidan again in ME3!

Best Friends: Garrus and Kaidan were her best friends in ME1. She was very happy when she met Archangel. She's also become very close to Kasumi and Zaeed, they accompany her everywhere.

Personality: Quick to trust and love, probably a result of losing everyone when she was younger. Sarcastic sense of humor, she loves teasing her friends. She's strong enough to have dealth with everythin that has happened over the past few years and still be a great leader, but she doesn't pretend to be invincible. She's still a little shook up by the fact that she missed two years of her life.

Three fun facts: 1) Has a HUGE wardrobe in her apartment on the Citadel (or did anyways, who knows what happened to all of her stuff when she died). 2) Dreams of having a family of her own someday. 3) Sneaks up to her cabin to play old video games...

I don't think that is the Ashley face texture? I have the Ashley face texture on one of my sheps and it looks nothing like that. That looks like that female face texture b or whatever it is called.

I, too, have noticed that. I personally found my biotic sheps felt like a good fit for kaidan - something in common that they can connect over. In ME1 biotics were rare. In ME2, it's like everyone is a biotic. I found that weird. I seriously would have liked JAcob more if he wasn't a biotic. It felt artificial to me. anyhow.

though i think femshep/liara as femshep a biotic also makes sense. again, that common bond. i know that's not necessary, but it is a cool connection.

adept surprised me, though. i didn't think i was going to like it. just felt too...prissy? when i first saw it in the character creation screen for ME1. i was like, what? no guns? what is this? space sorceress?

but upon actually playing it, i adored it. ME2 was different, but just as fun. there is nothing more awesome than making things fly and then shooting them down. liek clay pigeons. i keep thinking i'm going to become a vanguard, but i just got too attached to pistols and singularity.

Thanks guys, she is by far my favorite. I don't think it's the Ash face texture, but I'm not positive. I tried to find where I downloaded it from but I can't seem to. I just know you need that silly Texmod program to use it.
As far as being a biotic and romancing Kaidan, it did seem to fit. It would have been awesome if he acknowledged the fact that they were both biotics, but I can do that in my head I suppose
She was actually my soldier in ME1, so I kind of cheated when I made her the adept for ME2...

Anyway. I write a lot, my friends, and one thing I've found is that I have to have music playing in the background. Over time, certain songs stand out in my mind as 'representing' one character or another. And so my question for you is this: if your Shepard had a theme song, what would it be?

Yep. Pick a song that you think sums up the essence of your character. Personality, background, what makes them who they are... that kind of thing.

As for myself (and by 'myself', I of course mean 'Vi')... gonna have to go with 'Black Betty'.

 good question, ash. i might come up with something better, but for right now, I think Kyrie's on a "Not Ready to Make Nice" kick. she digs country music (she's a farmgirl) and the dixie chicks angry anthem completely sums up how she's feeling at the end of ME2.

Do you find yourselves attached to any particular Shep, or do you have a favourite? Is it because you've spent time constructing her particular story more than others through fanfiction or planning?

I feel most attached to Kallen that I won't edit her face. I feel like I did hers the best and when I realized that a new face meant brand new I aborted the CC and kept her import face. i hate that they made her ponytail grow because I liked it when it was fluffy at the end instead of compressed. Angela though I was really upset with her me1 face so I couldn't wait to get her to me2 for a make over so I made her a hot blonde infiltrator that says one liners that'd make numba 2 from the KND laugh.

Kat Though there's jsut something about her I feel like she wouldn't try to gut me (my other two are renegades) since she's the most logical.

but of course I'm attached to my only male shep because he made the decisions I'd make I didn't go out of my way to be renegade or paragon, I just played it by howI'd do it but that's for another thread. XD
