And thats why Bioware has so many female devoted fan players when so many other Devs dont. And we female players are more pationate i think. I play MMOs and the only company i ever talk about with my online friends or recoment is bioware..and i have played MANY other games from other companies too.

You make a few good points there. I love a game with a solid female protaganist. I guess because I am a female. Of course thats not to say I only play games with female leads. I wouldn't have a whole heck of a lot to play if that were the case.

Over the years, I've always been drawn to BioWare games. They generally do a good job creating solid and believable female characters. So yes, I am greateful that games like Mass Effect and Dragon Age were created. I want to see more for the female protaganist however. I'm not saying that FemShep was created as an afterthought. I just want to see her move forward. Same goes for any other female leads that are created.

So it's been a while since I've been in here, and I just wanted to say, I still love FemShep.

I'd appreciate it if you stopped by this thread I created to get Bioware's attention regarding FemShep and Liara's "unfinished" romance in the DLC.  Even if you never romance Liara, it's important to be heard because we don't want to see this happen with other romances in the future.

And nice iwakura :D   Although I think 3rd game in the character creator will forever be on the back burner.  ME2 was the time to add new features and styles and they chose not to sadly :(

As long as they're willing to keep the existing ME2 hair mesh, due to its popularity, it's all good. :) It's not like they really have to go out of their way to include it (although a nice high-res overhaul of it would be welcome, of course).

Exactly, thats what im really coining for now.  Just upgrade the textures and give her own animations and I will be happy.  Anything else they add on top will be a nice bonus :)

I'm not too upset about the issue with the audio but it does seem a bit "unfair"/sloppy and should get fixed. You have my support.

So I've had this idea for a video nagging at me for the past month or two. Now that my life is starting to settle down again and I actually have some free time, I'm thinking about making said video a reality. Of course I have zero experience doing something like this, so if it even comes to fruition, it should be quite the learning experience.

What programs do some of you guys use to actually edit said videos. I've seen some of the videos and they are just beautiful and amazing. A couple of them have given me the inspiration and courage to actually attempt this, lol.

If anyone is curious, It's a FemShep/Liara theme at least at the moment. Although at times my idea starts bouncing to more of a FemShep theme. Okay, obviously I'm in the very early stages. I'm still actually going through all my games and recording video. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Quoted for truth.  It seems more unfair.  Could also be a glitch, in which case it could be fixed.
@sage--thanks again for letting me use your pics in the wishlist.  And I love the new one you just posted!  I too will be waiting for VS DLC.  Maybe I'll just quite playing ME for a while to stop my obsession, and to reduce the pain of waiting for an announcement that may/may not come.

Can you actually edit the videos with the purchased version of fraps? I'm not so worried about the actual video capture, but the software to edit said video. Sometimes I think maybe I'm in over my head :?

Has anyone started a thread about the two different scenes for femshep and maleshep? I think it could warrent its own, maybe if we pop it in general discussion (since its DLC based) we might get lucky and get a response from a member of the team?

When I do video editing, i use Adobe Premier for the actual video work.  Then I export the video and audio in separate uncompresed files.  If there's any custom sound editing to be done, I design the sound effects in Adobe Audition.  Then I bring the video track into Sony ACID, which is purely for synching purposes since it can't edit the video directly, and use it to design the complete soundtrack.  Finally I export the soundtrack as its own audio file, bring it back into Premier, synch the soundtrack to the video, and do a final export of the entire movie file with sound and compression.  You don't actually need to use ACID, Audition is entirely capable of doing everything ACID can do and more, but I started off doing sound design and editing in ACID back at the Art Institute and I find the interface a lot more comfortable to use than Audition's.
