Virmire Survivor. That is, Ashley or Kaidan.

Also, the word Virmire can be used as a verb, by forum convention.

I've got more from that scene too, I've got hundreds of screenshots and am always looking for more. There is one mission in ME1 where Shepard actually gets shot in the chest and just looks down at it, but I can't remember which one. However I think I'm getting a bit off track here, some sort of FRAPs addiction isn't the point of the thread.

Ah, thank you. I was actually thinking that the one relevant Mass Effect word I knew which started with a V, was Virmire; but the coin didn't drop all the way. Duh on me!

On that note, yes, I'd love to have some closure with Ash. I didn't much care for the abrupt severance which occured at Horizon. You know, a beatifully done DLC, in which Ashley comes around, old wounds are healed, and thing work out for the universe and the people living in it, would really go a long way towards easing the pain of having to say goodbye to what will, no doubt, have been an epic trilogy.

Actually, Liara is a shot from ME2 in her office, I edited her face to make her smile like that.  And if I remember right, Shepard's face come from a shot in ME1 during the romance scene. Then I put some filters to make that cartoonish/holo look.

the thing with ash though, is that there are many ways of making her look super sexy without resorting to formal wear. makeup, heck, just let her HAIR down, and she could wear a shirt and tight pants and look sexy. ash doesn't have to try too hard to look awesome.

I see both of them showing up in their dress uniform. I really can't picture Ash dressed up in anything but military attire.

Agreed. Even though my Shep has only romanced Liara, I was a little upset by my last encounter with Ash on Horizon. I also saw her as my Sheps really close friend. I hope we  can set things right again before ME3 is released.

@ les - yeah. just finished feros last night. gosh, i love that mission. it's so satisfying. just a really small thing, but so...yeah. i loved it. i also feel like it's the mission where shep first impresses her crew (read: kaidan) with her ability to get things done *right* and that's so cool.

Oh, and I agree with you regarding the expressiveness of FemShep's face, sage. She does have quite a broad emotional range to her facial animations.

Every time I see another picture of this femShep design, I think I can't get any more impressed with it.

Then I see another one.

Honestly if I hadn't spent hours and hours making Jessica just right, I'd outright steal this face and make her my canon.  I can now safely say she is the best design of any femShep I've seen, including my own.

Feros did have awesome lighting. and i love your shep (kat, right?)

tuchanka always made me want to cry. i loved the expressions and moments there, but the lighting was awful. only krogan look good on tuchanka. nuclear winter is not a good look for my femshep. 

(and thanks sable - you're so nice. i DID spend hours getting her right, so it's nice to hear that.)

Yeah, there's a lot of potential with the inevitable Ash/Kaidan reunion regardless if they were romanced or not.  Horizon didn't go so well for Shepard

I'm not sure I like the idea of either of them apologizing to Shepard, though (like most people want).  I don't think they really did anything wrong.

pfft. i want my shepard to apologize. "How you doin?" - lame. but i know not everyone wants that. i just hope they have options for multiple cases. except for killing ash/kaidan. i truly disturbs me how many people have violent inclinations towards them. i saw a deviant art pic re: resurrecting kaidan in order to kill him again. i was like...wha? a marine who does his job and unflinchingly helps his commanding officer stop a killer - to the point where he would die to save others - is worthy of disrespect and hate? who ARE you people?
