I just went through my recent screenshots and found what I think may be my favorite picture of Jessica Shepard so far.
For once I can't tell what she's thinking, but she seems pensive, even a little sad.
Stunning....

Yes, Jessica Shepard is in my top 10 list of fave Shepards. <333 If there is one advantage I think FemShep players have is we have better customization options. Which is why it's difficult to make an ugly FemShep!!!

Same
here. I think I slip into my Shep's skin rather than creating her as a
possession. If I were her, I'd basically do everything I already do in
the game, including going for Liara.
I think you
just hit the nail on the head. I play my Shep the same way. I
essentially become her. There are very few characters I've been able to
connect with to the same extent as I can with my Shep.

It is possible to mod these armors into ME2 on PC
But it's a huge PITA. Like most ME2 modding actually. I guess it depends on how high your tolerance for frustrating workarounds is.

As a writer myself, (webcomics), any character I play, write or whatever will be an extension of my own personality to a certain degree. I believe it is that way for most writers, creators, etc. Early on in ME and ME2 I definitely just let myself be the character, but in pulling away from that a bit in later playthroughs, especially in ME2, the character became her own person. Oddly enough, if she were real, I’m not sure we would even get along that well, even though we share similar ideals. UJ Shepard is much more conservative than I am and sees things a little more black and white than I do. She is a honky-tonk party girl, something I am not in any way, shape or form. She’s a little more casual w/ her relationships than I am. For me, the differences aren’t just background and gender. She is her own person. In a way, the lack of a stronger narrative (as in ME1), allowed the imagination to take over a bit more in ME2. Though UJ can’t help but be a part of me, there are some profound differences. As far as in the game, as w/ Sable, Mordin on Tuchanka is a great example. UJ tore into Mordin like a tornado, but I would have cut the guy a bit of slack. I can see Mordin’s point. UJ was like, nu-uh. You don’t do that. And she too agonized over the decision, but ultimately took the practical route, “better to have it and not need it.” Though still paragon, I like to play her as a little bit of a hypocrite. She’s got a little, “do as I say, not as I do” in her. For me, the fun of the game is the evolution of this character and I can’t wait to see who she ultimately becomes in ME3.
Currently, I’m doing a renegade playthrough and it’s a lot of fun as this girl, Erica Shepard, is nothing like me at all. She is a b*tch, though I would not classify her as evil. The motto I am guiding my playthrough w/ is that she is there to win a war, not friends.

Dang I was going to link to a thread in another forum where I explained how to do this and it's GONE. Domain has expired. Boo. Here's the simplified version.
1. Add the armor to your ini as a casual outfit
SPECTRE armor is mesh BIOG_HMF_ARM_MED_R. MEDc.HMF_ARM_MEDc_MDL
2. Add a binding to your ini to force casual wear off the Normandy
Bindings=( Name="NumPadSix", Command="setSFXPawn_Player bUseCasualAppearance true" )
In the game, force casual wear with your binding then go into the armor menu and choose the casual outfit with the desired armor. When you exit out Shep should be wearing it. I used the armor locker to avoid going to the captain's cabin on the Normandy.
Using this method weapons are invisible. I can't figure another way to get the different textures to load off the ship though (since it normally defaults to that green camo.)
I am looking forward to Christmas Ape releasing his ini tutorial. I can explain methods I've used, but I'm terrible at explaining how specifically to mod the ini step by step.
So this should work for any of the Mass Effect armors that show up as casual wear but not as armor. All the Mass Effect 1 medium, heavy, and spectre armors are there.
Edit: OMG formatting

"I find it's best not to tell a woman how to drive, Garrus," Kaidan told him.
"Whoa," Shepard said, glaring over at Kaidan and then back at Garrus. "Are you two suggesting that I can't drive because I'm a woman?"
"Ah," Garrus choked out a laugh. "It was nice knowing you, lieutenant."

That is why I classify myself as a reader and not a writer. I've created characters with the intent of giving them a totally unique personality. For some reason they always revert in to my original, Alexandra Shepard. I created Alex gave her a background and a personality and it stuck. In my mind Commander Shepard is none other than Alexandra.

Hey Arcuido! You might want to add your wallpaper to the FemShep Art group on deviantArt!

I've been perusing Sage's fanfic, Valkyrie, and came across this priceless exchange:"I find it's best not to tell a woman how to drive, Garrus," Kaidan told him.

Appropriate to the thread because it's centered around femShep, and it's too hilarious not to share. I laughed for a good three minutes.

I love sagequeen's stories. Shenko~
But I digress. FemShep is an excellent driver, isn't she?

What's really funny is that it only seems to be femShep who is made the butt of driving jokes. dudeShep is just as terrible, and gets off scott free.
