Carry on!

So you're just going to walk away? You'll give up, and doom the entire galaxy to extinction?

Watching this scene again is actually making me feel nostalgic. I miss my emotionally vulnerable and uncertain Shepard! [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/grin.png[/smilie]

I also miss the SR1. It felt like the warship out in the unknown. SR2 is so brightly lit it feels like cruise-liner to me :(

No problem, sage. Jesse Houston did confirm that the development staff are working on something substantial in the post addressing the issue with Liara's FemShep romance in LotSB, so they could be applying the finishing touches to a VS DLC.

However, it's just as likely that they are working on the PS3 port of ME2, so I don't think it's wise to assume anything at this point. IDK. I hope that Ashley and Kaidan return soon.

Oh man, no kidding.  The SR1 was so far superior to the SR2.  Both internally, and externally; the design of the SR1 is much more unique and iconic.  The SR2 just looks like they pasted the Normandy's upper hull onto an airliner.

The first conversation with Joker is one of the few times where the game gives an opportunity to say exactly what Jessica's thinking.  "It's all a copy, Joker.  There's nothing here that was even a part of the real Normandy."  To her the SR2 is a fake and will always feel like it.  She has no connection to the ship like she did the SR1, it's purely a vehicle and combat platform, it elicits no emotion.

She (I) misses the SR1.  :(  The original Normandy was a character in and of itself, much like the Millenium Falcon.  The SR2 is too generic.

I wish in ME3 that the Alliance would start producing sister ships of the Normandy class, and we'd get the opportunity to trade in the SR2 for one.  It would feel more like home.  I don't see that happening though.

I will never look at that screenshot the same. Now you've got me thinking about this one:

Or try this:

Shepard (startled): Oh.

Kaidan: Is everything okay, ma'am.

Shepard: Oh, yes. Just fluids... dripping down my leg. Not so comfortable with the armor.

Kaidan: ...

I'm assuming that the SR2 will be reused in ME3, and that certain rooms will be repurposed when we inevitably recruit new squadmates. Ashley or Kaidan could work in the armoury, and Liara will need to room to operate her information network from!

For some reason, I think we'll be getting a SR3, but this time, the old ship won't get destroyed. Maybe Shepard takes the old SR2, and gets it taken apart and upgraded, so nothing Cerberus can use is left. Or trades it in for a better ship.

Okay, I know I'm not really much on commenting on screenshots.. but for some reason, this one I really like. It just seems like such an awesome knowing glance moment, I love it.

And yes, I also chime in for the locker scene. I love how frustrated you can have Shepard be, right down from the first look up where she almost seems like she's about to deck the love interest that just walked up to her in sheer frustration before realizing who it is. It was just such a great moment of frustration and vulnerability that felt it made sense, and didn't try to force itself too far; it shows both parties as strong and capable, and yet still gives them depth.

As for a virmire survivor DLC.. trying not to get my hopes up yet, but quietly wishing for one.

Well the SR2 got beat up pretty bad in the collector fight, it would need some time in dry dock (so to speak) for a major refit and repair. However that wouldn't technically make it the SR3 since it's still the original hull, plus the SR2 is a frigate with the guns of a cruiser and the ability to hide I don't know what would be better than that. Though I do agree that come ME3 the SR2 will not be linked into Cerberus in any way shape or form, even EDI goes "Rogue" from Cerberus by the end of the game. Besides I like the SR2 more than the SR1, the old Normandy felt like a dark gloomy submarine that ran out of spare lightbulbs.

I think the SR1 felt a bit more "homey". The lightening was warmer than on the SR2. The SR2 just feels too bright and too clinical. And it has Cerberus logos everywhere.

Ugh, yes....the lighting in Shep's SR2 cabin is horrible.  Horrid!

What I hate even more is that Miranda has her office where Shepard's cabin was on the SR1. And right next to it, there's Gardner instead of Kaidan. My Shepard is not amused. Image IPB

I sleep in really late and I miss lots of exciting/interesting convos. :(  I've been working on a one-shot of the Cabin scene between Shepard and Liara.  I actually touch on Liara still having issues over Shepard's death and both of them not really knowing what Cerberus did in the operating room.  It still needs work but I managed to write more than I have in days, last night.

Also, people mentioned that you get a different convo if you pick up Liara last in ME1....I have video of that.  Sorry for the crappy quality.  I was barely learning how to use Premiere at the time and forgive Shai for looking like a ghost.  She's had a complete makeover since then!  :P

Random screenshot comments: tbh with the way the game is setup, I'm surprised Kaidan manages to not oggle femShep's butt in that light armor. Though I would say it's her legs that look really sexy in that...sorry, what were we talkin' about? :P

The SR2 was a good idea, but yeah - it's a copy and I'm glad Shepard got to at least say that. I know my Shep feels that way and, like Tali, misses the old faces, even if she ended up arguing with Pressley over the inclusion of non-humans.

Question for ya'll: Have any of you ever considered your femSheps to be flirty? I'm trying to come up with a bio for mine and I'm having trouble deciding. I don't mean over-the-top but rather that "oh you should be so lucky - play your cards right and it might happen" kinda way. I think Hale gets it in some of the ME1 VO with Kaidan but I'm thinking gestures to go with it...
