actually, this is why with a VS DLC, i would LOVE to see ashley/kaidan save shep's butt for once. seriously, how many times has shep saved them now? (depends on if male or femshep and whom you leave on virmire, but up to 4 times for kaidan, 5 for ash).

and yes, BDtS has some LAME dialog about what shep does and why. this last playtrhrough i felt like i hit the "right" things to say - things that felt reasonable. i tend to play certain scenes over until i get what feels like "YEAH! that's what shep said." and then go with the consequences.

...which is probably why my shep has become steadily more renegade each playthrough. she's still mostly paragon, but i have used less and less charm options and more renegade lines.

talking to the council is always a situation where i feel renegade-ish. however, BW did a fantastic job of writing organizations and governments that feel as politically mired and ineffective as ones IRL

There's a tricky balance between "giving Shep a soul" and changing the game from an RPG to some sort of "interactive movie directing game".  It's a role-playing game, the player is supposed to do a lot "putting the soul into the character".

If that means a more crowded and descriptive dialogue wheel and additional character development (not only Shepard), then I'm all for it.  Being scared of something is no reason to not at least attempt it.

Almost the same here.
On each new (paragade) playthrough my Shep falls deeper into de dark side. She isn't a ****, she is always nice (or almost nice) with her crew and friends but has no mercy with poeple who stand in her way or ****** her off

I would also love more dialog choices for Shepard. If you don't want them, skip out on the 'Investigate' option and spam the right hand option so you can get out of the dialog ASAP, simple.

I do really hope there won't come such situation where someone points gun (Or have bomb in LI:s sell) at your LI or friends and says doom the world or she/he dies. That would be so, so cheap and would make me very unhappy.

I'm all for those situations where Shep needs to decide something that might put LI in danger of dying, but I really wouldn't like some hostage situation with LI or even with friends. Since what kind of choice you really even have there. Yes, you can save your LI, but you both die anyway with the reapers destroying or organic life so what's the point.

I'm hoping your LI and friends can keep them self safe and I can trust that they atleast have chance of surviving by their own skills.
