Glad to see more FemShep support. Me and my Husband so prefer our FemSheps over ShepLoo.

Jennifer Hales voice acting is really a big part of that. There is so much more emotion and life in her voicing of the character. My husband did his first ME1 playthrough as male, and when he watched me do mine as FemShep, he immediately redid his and made a FemShep because of the difference in the two. It is also the first one he carried over into ME2.

And like your husband my first play through was male.  Then I did my second as femshep and never looked back!  I think a few people have done this, so it just shows doesn't it! :happy:

On my first Mass Effect playtrough, I didn't even know that I could choose the gender of my Shep. So I played the canon male Sheploo. On my second one, I made my first female Shep, Amanda but her french voice was terribly  bad! !(yep I have the french version because it's my native language). One day I saw some english femshep vids on Youtube ...  Ten minutes after I tweaked my game in order to play it in english. It was a whole new and better experience for me,  like if I played it for the first time
I know , it's an stupid story but I'm a bit stupid too

FRAPs.

It captures exactly what is on the screen pretty straight forward as far as these things go, so fancy computers that can run all the bells and whistles make better screenshots. Can't argue with end results though.

Now that I think about it, someone also suggest an alternative to Photoshop for editing the screenshots, either here or on the Modding is Possible threads.

Well what originally drew me to using a FemShep was Jennifer Hale.

Looooooove the characters that Hale does.

ShepLoo just seemed so....bland in comparison.

Adept! It's my favourite class, and I think that it poses quite a nice challenge, especially on higher difficulty levels. Plus, I quite like biotic FemSheps. I think that biotic powers suit her, for some reason.

Oh, and I am enjoying myself, thanks! I've just finished Mordin's recruitment mission. The Phalanx is extremely useful.

Yeah ! Adept, one of my two favorite classes (the second one is Vanguard). Adept kicks asses and is very funny on Insanity !  Warp explosions ftw !

It's a bit harder to use than Photoshop but it's free so works out in the end.

Yep ! Sure.
But I played my MaleShep on LotSB yesterday and I was positively surpsrised. Meer did a very good job (or a least some nice improvements), especially in the "cabin" scene.  For the first time, I didn't take him for a robot.

Yeah, dubbed voices suck. My native language is spanish, so I don't even bother trying. I just install and play everything in its original language.
When I bought the game I was fearing they only had the spanish version. Even when the guy from the store assured me it was in english, i was kinda worried until I had the game running.

picasa is also quite nice if you just want simple tweaks like lighting. i run my fave screens through picasa to make them just a little prettier (and to make my shep's hair a slightly more golden color)

re: classes - i love that there is not a class that does *not* suit femshep. okay, don't take this the wrong way, but in some games, seeing an elf maiden or cat-girl walk around with a sword twice her size is FUN, but not necessarily all that believable. femshep, however, appears to OWN her class, whatever it is.

i've tried many classes, but settled on adept just...cause.

actually, it's because i like the light show. that's why.

I know what you mean. Two of my three runs in DA:O were female. One dwarf and one city elf. The dwarf looked great because she only wore that really cool gear from Leliana's DLC. But my elven warrior with Blood Dragon armor ?? That was terrible.

Okay I'm a bit biased.  And possibly a little weird in the head. *shrug*

I finally got some time to play my Soldier Danielle (as I so creatively call her) and it's been pretty fun so far. I thought Soldier was really boring in ME1 and I was hesitent to play as one again in ME2, so I've mostly just played as a Vanguard over and over again and once as an Infiltrator. However I was wrong, while it's not as fast or as flashy as a Vanguard, Soldier is way better this time around. I even pieced together a N7 set for a Soldier, gives a huge boost to Shields which is always handy.



While mostly Kestrel parts however I used the Shield Harness as the torso part, I just edited the INI so I could use it right from the start and not have to wait to get it.


Oh yeah that's why I made a Soldier!

Though I still play a lot like a Vanguard in that I just run right at people and shoot them in the head while using Adrenaline Rush and then beat the surviors to death. Guess you can't teach a Vanguard new tricks.
