Screenshot awesomeness! Or well, at least mildly interestingness.
"How will this end?"
"In fire."
Okay, Babylon 5 quotes may not exactly fit Mass Effect 2, but it's appropriate to this situation, because a mere month and a few days after the Battle of the Citadel, Jessica finds herself aboard a disintegrating Normandy, running through jets of flame to reach Joker. Love this screenshot. Lucky timing.
"Crap!"Then she walks out into CIC and the sight guts her just like the attackers have gutted her ship.
"...good god..."Did you ever notice that Shepard hits the wall so hard chunks come off her suit? Neither did I, but they do.

And this, right here, is why I no longer watch the opening movie. I leave it running minimized, check back to get through the brief gameplay sequence, then leave it running again and come back in a few minutes when I know it's sitting at the Lazarus screen. The pain and terror in that arched back just make me twist up inside.

Two years later, we catch up once again with Jessica on a medical table, peacefully counting electric sheep.

At least until that stupid pounding noise wakes her up...
"Five more minutes, mom..."Except it's actually gunfire and explosions.
"Well, crap."Now she's just pissed off. And apparently not quite put back together yet.
"Ouch."And with that Jessica's back, sans hair, sans makeup, and sans a sense of humor.
"I'm missing half of this equation. Where's my bubblegum?"I figured she'd been on a medical table, and in situations like hers they keep the patient's head shaved, that's even assuming her skin has grown back recently enough to start regrowing hair in the first place. I figured I'd hack in the new hairstyles as time progressed, and as I was googling how to do this, guess what I should stumble across but sagequeen's blog, talking about
doing the exact same thing! You rock, sage, without that blog I wouldn't have figured some things out. Great minds think alike, huh?
Also, how the heck have people gotten flycam to work during cutscenes in ME2? Unlike ME1, you can't seem to turn it on once the cutscene has started, and some of the really awesome screenshots like the one of femShep and Garrus arriving on Korlus remain out of my reach.
