Wow, Jessica looks even more amazing in ME2!  Speaking of hair growing, I was reminded of one of my friend's really awesome trailers.  FemShep also wakes up with a shaved head and over the course of the video, her hair grows back.  It's one of the better trailers out there too, imo.  Repercussions 2 by gdoism

There's a realm of creativity so far beyond my comprehension, I cannot even fathom it. That's where this vid came from! Goosebumps all the way!

Agree so much with this.  I can pass it off as her body not "fitting" any more because it's full of artificial junk, but it's really pretty horrible for femShep to go tromping around like that, gimpy in one leg and with her head down like she's got a permanent headwind.  And don't even get me started on her shoulders.

zombieShep for the lose.

Espcially when wearing Kasumi's formal wear. :( I'm not sure what Bioware was thinking when they created the Femshep running animation. The term "Derp" leaps to mind.

That's exactly what I was thinking of when I mentioned the shoulders.  And as bad as they are when jogging, they're even worse when walking!  I'd rather walk sedately around the party, fits in character more, but her whole side droops when you do that.  Ugh.

Yeah, FemShep is the woman that definitely stands out the most at Hock's party.

That sexy jog!

yes, i love that about hock's party.

everyone knows it is shep just by seeing her face and her walk (even if she was massively reconstructed and now walks more line-backer-like than ever), but hock has NO IDEA that it's shepard. even when he knows he's talking to kasumi, he still calls shepard allison gunn.

That's just how it works. The villain is not supposed to recognize the hero. Even when it is beyond obvious[smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/tongue.png[/smilie]

like lois lane, sorta.

btw, OP looks awesome! i also saw the list of sheps - so honored kyrie made the list.

it's funny, i tend to register her as an adept, but i should specify she's a bastion. - does anyone else agonize over specialization? i ended up a bastion because i felt it suited her personality more (Barriers are this massively defining part of her, esp. in ME1) and then in ME2, i really felt like i needed to stay with that just because of the RP factor - barriers and bastion.

does anyone else make class decisions totally on RP grounds? i also wear crappier armor only because it looks better and hacked hair back onto my shep, so i guess i'm a little nutty that way. but i figure if i can't beat the game on hardcore and have kyrie look good doing it, why bother?

And naturally, whist recognizing Kasumi, the worst greatest thief, who is with Shepard, and having a guard who trips over their unscannable Trojan horse statue, none of this particulary sets off any alarm bells in Hock towards Femshep. Posted Image

^ yeah. all they would ahve had to do was just say hock knew it was shep and planned to collect a bounty on handing her over to the SB or something. seriously, i could take idiotically arrogant over idiotically idiotic any day.

So he's not the brightest crayon in the box... I do agree. I could not for the life of my understand how Hock did not recognize Shep... She wasn't even in disguise. At least my Shep wasn't. That would have been fun. Maybe I'll have to do that next time I play through that mission.

Kind of.  My Engineer took the 'Demolisher' spec because she's an expert at blowing stuff up.  This is the main reason she was so 'successful' on Torfan.  As an explosives expert, she was able to create bombs and such to quickly take out batarian bases.  Unforunately, she had to sacrifice the lives of a lot of Alliance men and women as she wasn't as careful as she should have been (and, honestly, didn't care at the time...she was ruthless).

However, this spec doesn't exist in ME1.  It replaces the old Medic spec for Engineers, as that's been tossed aside due to lack of medi-gel and the Medicine/First Aid talent.  My Shepard picked the 'Operative' spec for Engineer in ME1 anyway, then switched to 'Demolisher' in ME2 as it fits her background better.

Good question.  Yes, I do make class decisions based on RP grounds.  For my canon, I made her a soldier.  I like the fact that she doesn't have any biotic or technical talent.  Yet, she still made it into the special forces because she is a remarkable individual.  As for her armor, I go with off white.  It looks beat up and gritty but the white stands for her being a Paragon.  I also don't use the whole Kestrel getup because I don't like her looking too bulky.  I don't have a valid reason, just that it looks weird on her.

As for Shai who is a vanguard, I feel it fits with her angry and dark personality.  She unleashes it on the battlefield with her biotic charge and loves to punch the shiz out of her opponents.  I also like using barrier for her as a bonus talent.  I just love the way it looks on her with her bright eyes and makes her seem more intense. As for armors, I go with either black or red to fit her dark personality and usually use the whole Kestrel getup with her.  That might change though.  I'm so picky!  :pinched:

Sorta. Morrigan (my Shepard), is a Shock Trooper. It's what she does. She grew up the stories of Canadians under General Sir Arthur Currie (the original Storm Troopers, and to whom all other Storm Troopers must bow down and worship), and that's what she always wanted to be.

But I don't anagonize over it very much. I play better with characters with heavy armour and high health, and the RP just fits around that.

Vive la Canada!

>shrug< Jessica is her rifle. Every skill and upgrade I take is to make her rifle more deadly. Simple.  In ME1 that was the Commando specialist class (with maxed out Sniper Rifle skill of course), in ME2 that was the Assassin evolution for the Operative power paired with Assassination evolution on the Tactical Cloak.

As for looks, well, that's one reason I consoled in the Hazard armor onto her in ME1.  It's my personal favorite combination of hardsuit appearances (she calls it her "crab suit") and muted coloration.  I like the muddy sea-green color with nearly-black red accents and wish I could duplicate that in ME2.  It also happens to be the most powerful armor in the game, but I didn't do it for that, so I never used a rank higher than VIII, which is actually about equal to a Colossus X.  I would wait to console in a new version until I found or could buy another armor with stats almost equivalent.

Well I've taken one character and respeced her several times now, Danielle so far has been a Vanguard a Infiltrator and a Soldier, with a Sentinel and Adept ready to roll. I do try to make the armour sets look somewhat unique for each class, different parts and patterns that kind of stuff. I suppose if anything defines these various Danielles it's aggression, I play every class with maximum aggression so specilizations reflect that. Champion, Commando, Assassin, Raider and Nemesis are the specs that fit me as a player, and they fit the character as well. Still she's a Vanguard at heart, you can make her a Soldier or a Sentinel but she'll still charge right in guns blazing.

"Derp?"

I'm doing a clean runthrough in honor of FINALLY getting LotSB to work; this screenshot was snapped during Garrus's recruitment mission (afterlife, in this case).
I like this shot and I'm not really sure why. Maybe it's the wide-eyed "aw did I just break your gun lolololol" stare. Maybe it's the tilt of the head. I dunno. It's cute.

I do tend to go for what looks good on my character instead of what's best. (I hate colossus colors so much on ME1). I like Onyx looks best and now that I started new ME2 playthrough and watched Normandy getting whacked. In midst of all that I finally took close look on Sheps armor and now I want to get that armor look. I'm just not that comfortable at modding ME2.

I always go with what looks best, too (and I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of other people did). For some reason my Kira looked very good in the Heavy Hydra Armor (see avatar); which is surprising, as green is not exactly my favorite color. And (I suck at remembering the names) she also looked very good in that Light grey Armor (with all the camouflage spots). Come ME2, I will never, ever, wear an Armor where I can't see her face (little marketing boo-boo, if you ask me).

Seriously, cute look. Yes, I say it's the tilt; plus the way her face is lit from underneath, giving it a sort of spooky, but cosy look at the same time.
