She is purrty.  Blue eyes with dark features is so striking.

Forward battery is personally my favorite place to take screenies, too.

(It's Garrus.  He makes femsheps glow.  What do you mean not everyone romances Garrus?  Why not?  He's awesome.  Oops, I had my inner fangirl on.)

Excellent lighting in there.

edit - plus if you romance Garrus she does that comely smirk which is so very flattering.

OMG.  Femshep is the only reason I've exercised at all in the last two years, no joke.  Every time a new game comes out her firm physique shames me into working out instead of gaming so much.

Alessia is loyal to Liara though...  

Her eyes are the only thing non-standard. They're actually a bright silvery-blue, but the lighting can make a big difference.

did you use a given color or did you mod one in? i really didn't like how they changed up the eye colors in ME2. kyrie went from having these blue-gray eyes to having BLUE eyes - like royal blue from a box of crayons. i hacked the color last time to what i thought was a closer fit, but it never looked quite the same

So I'm playing through ME1 after ME2 for my current Shep and I'm finding I can't play through the game following what I had as her story, since I know what's going to happen. Namely, I can't romance Kaidan. Because I know she's going to go for Garrus in game 2. Going for Kaidan just feels wrong now.



So metagame knowledge has essentially changed my canon story. Lonely locker scene, here I come.



I do like Kaidan's friend dialogue though. Never heard it before.

this is how i feel about garrus in me2. i can just see him crushing on shep, but it's always a no go. (And i like to pretend samara and thane and jacob do NOT have a crush on shep. it's just too weird when EVERYONE wants to get into the captain's quarters)

Jessica's visit to Illium was nothing like she expected.  Upon hearing at the spaceport that Liara was here and wanted to see her, her heart lifted for the first time since waking up on the Lazarus Station (which was quite some time).  Upon seeing her, though, Liara greets her with a kiss that could not have hurt any worse if it were a slap in the face.


Well thanks, Liara, that was stunningly awkward.

And so, like she does any time she is defending herself against pain, Jessica lapses into sarcasm.  Her voice and expression, for a split second, drip with so much scorn she leaves a puddle on the floor.


"Flaying people alive, now?  That's a little dark for you."

Liara doesn't have much to say on the subject, avoiding the feelings stirred by seeing her dead lover alive again.  She misdirects with business, unable to reach across the gap of years and pain.


"He'll pay.  They always do."

GAH!  Holy crap I hate this scene, it just breaks my heart.  LOTSB better be amazing to make up for it.  I'll reach it tonight, finally.

ugh, illium. i dunno - is hard to compare:

liara romancers had the  liara
VS romancers had the  kaidan/ashley <---closest i can find to angry face

they both sucked! liara's is just so cold it hurts and horizon is just so angry it hurts.

it hurts! i almost preferred kaidan's yelling though. the "i loved you" - makes the heart skip a beat and hope (if one can ignore all the other CRAP spouted in that scene - by shep and the VS both)

edit: wait - 0.9893138, 0.9372048, 1.2, 1 - how is that possible? 1.2 shouldn't be allowed. did you mean .12?

Worry not! I'm positive that there will be a VM expansion/DLC eventually. (one of my FemSheps is hoping for a proper reunion with Kaidan too)

Im the reverse, my play through is the first im romancing with Kaiden.  I never really liked him, I kind of felt he was dull.  He was always nice to chat too, but more then that...  

But then after seeing the options in ME2 I realised actually he not that bad and I am actually quite enjoying it!  


Anyway I know people dont like the lonely locker, but I think it is more of an emotional impacting scene then your partner being there.  With every Shepard background there is something that she did which she overcame alone. Whether on Acuse, Elysium or Earth born for example she overcame a overwhelming challenge.   Her strength is she alone defeated something that most never could and she did it herself alone!   When shes at the locker this sense of being alone is really reflected well, its a sad but emotionally engaging scene as she is sitting thinking how can she possibly win such a massive task now the Council have slammed the door on her.    With no ear to listen she sits just looking lonely and lost, like for the first time she defeated and cant do anything about it. It almost looks like she was about to give up but then Joker comes on the intercom.   Makes you wonder what she would do if he never broke the silence, would she break down or find her strength again

The "lonely locker" scene is just that, lonely. An emotion that I think Shepard knows all too well. I agree she had to overcome many challenges alone. This is nothing new. It is a very emotional scene.

What I like about the "romance locker" scene is that for once Shepard is not alone. This time she has someone she can lean on, if only for a moment. Just when she was possibly ready to give up, there was someone there to cheer her on and lend her strength and courage. Plus on a more selfish note, the scene makes me smile

Lol, funny you say that. With me it's Kaidan, since I'm a dude. If the slightly philosophical shy guy can get a woman like that by "simply" having abs of steel well...off to the gym with me!

Personally I always though the VS romancers got the better deal pre-LotSB. At least there was credible human emotion involved (from the VS, Shep was having one of his/her foot-in-mouth days), whereas Liara and Shep were like two Tranquils transplanted from Thedas... An absolutely robotic Shepard and a Liara who had seemingly gone insane between the two games.

I'm fairly sure the VS romancers will get their due. They'd damn well better... considering I have Sheps waiting for both Ash and Kaidan...

My alternative universe Jennifer will be happier with Liara. Already made up the difference in their behavior in ME2 in my mind. No Liara Jennifer is a lot darker.

No kidding.  I went through the non-romance locker scene once, ONCE, and was so appalled I immediately determined that any and all playthroughs will have a love interest, whether it's entirely in character or not.

Since I can't bring myself to play dudeShep, I guess that means I'll always have Liara or Kaidan.
