Probably so. But man, what a visionary power that artist has!
Indeed the first one really makes Acuze come to life, since I always struggled with trying to see what it looked like. For some reason I kept thinking Vietnam only with giant space worms.
I wonder how you could convey Torfan (or your background of choice) in one picture?
I always figured it would be at the end of the battle Shepard standing alone in the bombed out command bunker with dead Batarians and N7 Commandos laying around the room. If it was using my own Shepard she'd probably have no helmet on, a minor head wound with blood dripping down the side of her face and messy hair matted with dried blood. Holding a shotgun with blood and grey matter on the end of it from where she executed the Batarian commander at close range with a single headshot. That would probably fit my very dark vision of Torfan and the things Shepard did there.

How to post an image is about halfway down.
Thank you ELE!...that is one this that has been driving me up the wall, would love to post some of my FemShep.
BTW, I must say that your FemShep "creations" are the best I have seen, most notably Teagan. Her face is just perfect and those eyes....just something really "captivating" about them....makes me want to invest in the PC verison.

Talking with Thane in the Life Support.

I really like the lightening in this one.

Noah and Kelham - the beginning of a wonderful friendship.

Noah's not impressed with his lawyer either.

"It looked so easy when Kasumi did it."

In Talid's apartment.

Not from the loyalty mission, but I like it anyway and used it as a reference for Noah's portrait.

Very Nice Chignon, Always liked Thane's Loyalty mission...lot's of fun and always thought it would yeild some pretty good Screen caps...just wish I didn't have a 360 ...
Thank you! I like Thane's loyalty - it is different from other missions and you can play Good Cop, Bad Cop.

@Chignon: I don't know if it's been said before but I'm really digging your femShep design. I love her face structure.
Thank you, I've put a lot of time in her, still change her a bit from time to time. Also, Noah's my first FemShep who isn't part of the "Face 7 Mafia".

Jessica assembled herself piecemeal over the course of three playthroughs in two games. Actually technically four, but the fourth was just for the Garrus romance, which was the only deviation from my head canon, which was the signal she'd pretty much arrived at her final form. All my characters tend to do that, making citing individual influences impossible.
I'm kind of the same way. I've played the games I don't know how many times just to try out all the different permutations, and my 'canon' sort of evolved out of that. I picked an origin/backstory and Shep grew into her own person based on what I think she'd do and what I want her to do. So I can't point to any specific inspirations for her personality or looks.
She just sort of happened. In that way she's kind of an extension of myself.
She continues to evolve actually since I'm playing the first game again so I can do a full 1-2 playthrough. She still has the same general personality but some events change depending on how I'm feeling. I just can't romance Kaidan anymore for example. I like Garrus too much and the thought of romancing Kaidan just to dump him makes me super sad : (
Yay! Screenies from Chignon. I've never seen another Shep that looks quite like Noah (she's ridiculous adorable. hope that's not a bad thing...) <3Chignon wrote...

By the way, how does flycam work? Do you have to pause the game to get those shots?

I think this pretty much settles the sexy vs. capable/professional argument. The answer is: Both!

btw, i REALLY like this shep. she's very unique.
Can't keep up with the thread! Gah! >dies<
Anyway, this is a great face. Kind of a mixed Asian look. She is unique in a world of half-cloned femSheps! More screenies, please!

You use it through the console wiki linki.
I think you can pause the game but I just hide the HUD and pause using space bar to bring up the action menu. Others may have a different techniques. I know sagequeen has become flycam master.

I'm a little disappointed that ME's character creator doesn't have a better hook-nose, if you turn up nose depth with any structure, for the most part, it starts to look more straight and not really bent at all. ;_;
IMPORTANT EDIT: Noah is one of my favorite Shepards, appearance-wise. She looks a bit like a character I made in Dragon Age, though at least 50 times cuter.

That's how I feel with the ME2 LIs. I bought ME2 first, tried to romance someone, gave it up in the middle of the game. I bought ME1, played it and romanced Kaidan. And now I simply cannot imagine another romance for my FemSheps. Even though I really, really want to because I love Thane's character. But I haven't found anybody yet who feels quite as "right" as Kaidan does.

And, adorable? Definitely not a bad thing - some of the Renegade lines are just hilarious with an "adorable" Shepard.

They don't look that bad at this size but closer up everything is so damn blurry. And those are the better looking action shots....

Marina Cousland
Lawful evil never looked so good. I normally play dwarves, too, but it was fun to make a more petite-looking face. I think it's the slight heart-shape that reminds me of Noah, btw!!
I have found some overlap between my Femshep playthroughs and my female Grey Wardens, by the way. They tend to share names, though not usually personalities--but I like to make their look reflect as much as possible with such different sorts of character creation.
