Well said. I always just played along. Figured Alex was oblivious of Kaidan's feelings up until he and Liara make her choose. She doesn't lead anyone on at that point. She's basically just like, wow Kaidan, I'm sorry, but Liara is the one I'm interested in. He takes it pretty well too. Thank goodness.

So that's how you get that dialogue... I had read about that but never knew how to trigger it. Hmm, next time through I'll have to do that. I just rescuded Liara too. Too bad I talked to Kaidan 1st.

The nose was from Files' Nemain Shepard, IIRC. I drew upon both of those designs (Nemain and Indra) and got a really great result for what I consider to be Trinket's general ethnic background.
Edit:  My favorite thing about her, thinking about it, is that she doesn't look like a 20-something, a bit more adult.  Looks like she spent a lot more time on Earth, palling around with gangs, and then spent a lot of time coming to terms with it before the Blitz.

I totally do the same thing. And here I thought I was crazy or something. At least I know I'm not the only one... I also expand on the conversations I have... I really should write some of it down one of these days.

I've never heard that line before. I always assumed it was restricted to MaleShep. Good to know. WIll need to try for it on my next playthrough!

I like making older looking Shepards as well. Maybe it's because I'm old but I like to have a more worn face. Or something that has rough edges...just adds to the enjoyment of the character for me. Not that I dislike younger looking Sheps, not at all.

Thanks!  I was aiming for Filipina with Korean and African descent mixing, the Latina is a nice influence that I didn't even notice until you mentioned it.  She makes me so happy--does great justice to Hale's voice, too!  You're right about that

Thanks for the info! I'm always pleasantly surprised that after so many playthroughs there's still new content to be experienced. I think I can always count on at least one "ooh, never seen that before/heard that before" moment per game :happy:

I think this is a good segue to an interesting question for the thread.  How old do each of you perceive your canon Femshep to be?  I figure you've all thought a lot about this.

Trinket is definitely in her thirties, I like to imagine after enlisting when she was first able to, that she had to do a lot of soul searching.  Part of me really thinks she started with more "renegade" intentions and methods, because that worked on Earth, but she later learned how complicated things were in space, even compared to gang life on earth.  I also figured this does NOT happen overnight.  "I strived to do better" is a phrase that resonated for me, in spite of it being for Akuze or Torfan, as far as I remember, but I definitely can't see striving to do better taking a matter of a few years, and leading to the Blitz that quickly

She's gotta train somehow, after all.

Me too! Especially since I try to do different things on each playthrough. I'm doing one now where I'm taking Wrex everywhere, now I love Wrex but I had to stop taking him everywhere and change up my squad so I could here new things. But it's been awhile since I've played ME1 so hearing his dialogue is like hearing it for the first time. He and Kaiden crack me up on Noveria.

But Liara and Wrex are *hilarous* together too.

Ahh true, though I think everyone has an impression as to whether their Shepard is young at heart or an old soul, /and/ what happened during those years between enlistment and Eden Prime.  We'll scratch my lore!fail and keep to that!

I would love a nice fiction prompt up in here.  I think in lieu of learning to model a six pack for dwarves in DA:O and reading John Locke, I will write on the subject.

Ermmm...*tries to remember*  I haven't played ME1 with my canon FemShep in a while.  After you talk to Liara after Therum, you then converse with Kaidan.   What I am able to remember:

Shepard:  Just remember, I saw her first, Lieutenant.
Alenko: I hear Asari are into that sort of thing, mam.

Yeah, that sounds about right.  This occurs when you speak with Kaidan after Therum but you must end the possibility of having a relationship with Kaidan before you can hear this.  Then, ask Kaidan about the Therum mission and Dr. T'Soni.  He will give his usual, 'she seems nice' spiel and that's when Shepard says the above line.

It's not a problem if there are two missions I can play over and over again it's the Derelict Reaper and the Suicide Mission both are fantastic for very different reasons. Wait did I say Suicide Mission? I suppose that means I have played it and have the screenshots to prove it. You'd be right.

Never actually thought it as renegade one. It just happend to be on renegade spot on the dialog wheel. Anyway, you can get him say that more than once after you've rescued Liara. Option to do that goes away only when you do next main questline place and what Kaidan says after you ask about the mission changes. So you can tell him Liara is yours over and over again. Just to be sure.

I usually just go by her established DOB of April 11th, 2154...making her 29 in 2183 during the events of ME..and 31in 2185 during ME:2  I really never thought much more into it as it seemed be fitting and was already established.

The main hero/heroines in DA:O are also in their early twenties.

Shepard was 29 in the first ME, and would be 31 in the second.
