I always assumed mine was 29-30.  I prefer my protagonists older.  Heck, I hate how VG characters who are my age (21) or younger are charged with saving the galaxy.

You hate even the Power Rangers?!

I honestly can stand DLC.

Its so stupid to put HUGE story elements in later, or put items that should have been in the game later.
I pay full price for a book, movie, or TV Season and for games.

Yet games are the only ones that come along a few months later and say:
"Unlock extra content for only X amount of monies!"
If it was ONLY weapons and armor than I would not mind it, but when they start selling story integral content as DLC I REALLY get annoyed.

So,, how bout that femShep?

I like DLCs.
It keeps the game "alive". It keeps people guessing, longing, arguing...

LotSB: 10 bucks. You know what I can buy with that in my country ? 1 (one) pizza.

How 'bout this femshep ?

DLC is happily worth the price I pay for it.
I would rather play DLC than go to the movies. It's the same cost, or cheaper.
And I had a beer and burger and fries the other day for 15 dollars. It was eaten and digested within two hours. At least with DLC, you can play it again. :)
Slightly OT, sorry.
jwalker, your FemShep's lovely. :)

EDIT: and the power rangers are awesome.  From what I remember.  I haven't watched their show in 16 years.  But I do have the movie.  :)

i like the femshep jwalker.

and i like DLC. is cheaper than a movie, is better than most movies, and i get to enjoy it again and again.

and thanks - those actions shots all cost shepard her life - mostly the one with the thorian creeper vomiting on her. i keep forgetting i'm in hardcore mode when i hit f12. i just get so excited about how cool everyone looks that i play photographer and forget shep needs me to help her fight. pfft. you'd think after all these playthroughs she could do it herself.

Just a couple cool screenies, since I won't be posting much if at all for the rest of the week.

"Oh yeah, I just told off the Illusive Man.  Who's badass?"

And this one displays the expression Jessica wears from the time she watches Liara run away from her in a bombed out skyscraper until they finally kill the Shadow Broker.  Her (former?) girlfriend is just pissing her off.

Loving the screenies + captions! And I see you're wearing that vizor mod, so as to actually align that seeker thingy with her eye (no wonder Tali needed to come and fix JamieC's eye, lolz). Looks good.

Constance Shepard.

Paragade Vanguard. Spacer and Sole Survivor. One tough lady, who happens to have a soft spot for Liara.

Very nicely done! She almost seems to have very light freckles! She's adorable, really. And nice Armor-combo, too.

Good to see femShep is so popular though! Carry on.
edit:  Thanks iwakura.  :)

Nicely done. :) I like how you added weight to the bottom chin area; it makes her overall face shape distinct and the eyebrow choice gives her an expressive face. Did you post this character earlier, I think around the start of 300 pages?

I perceive Kathryn Shepard to "fit" her age.  She's mature yet she still knows how to pull pranks on people and make them laugh.  I never really think about her age though.  It's like myself.  I get a huge surprise when I am carded at the store and I'm talking about buying a video game here in my state.  They believe I'm under 17 and I show them my ID and they are suprised to find out that I'm 23.  lol!

More captures from my playthrough with Shai:

The pageboy/pixie haircut is one of my favorite styles in Mass Effect but it would be nice to have more short hair options. Can you guys think of any style in particular that you think would look nice?

Pics of my canon renegade Jih Shepard. Her background is earthborn/sole survivor and she's definitely into kicking butt although she can make nice if she really has too.

In every playthrough of ME2, I find myself seeing Kasumi as Shepard's best friend or sista.  I know guys have their bros and I feel like she can be all of my FemShep's sistas(except for Shai since she doesn't make friends).  Does anyone agree?  I love bringing her along on missions and listening to her banter and I can never get tired of visiting her in the Normandy's bar.

I love Anna's hairstyle. It's pretty close to how I wear mine. Although, now that's it's grown out a bit it looks more like Devi's. (can't wait to get my haircut next week.:))

I'd like to see a short, spiky hairstyle. I think Jih would look really cool with that, although her mohawk's not too bad either.

She looks bad ass, Scamper! I love bald Sheps and the faux hawk works out well for her. She's also very unique looking.

I totally have to agree with you there. I don't know if it's because she refers to Shepard as Shep, or what. She just seems like someone Shepard can talk to. In ME2, my Alex is probably closest to Kasumi and Garrus. Those are the two she can always depend on. Plus Kasumi cracks me up. Everyone needs someone that can just make them laugh.

And a matching screenie for good measure. Although Alex looks a lot more ticked off.

Kasumi is fantastic, for me she's by far the most interesting and likeable Human character in the game, also she's not a Biotic. It's strange that an ability apparently so rare in Humans is so bloody common in your squad set-up, Kaiden, Miranda, Jacob and Jack are Biotics only Kasumi and Ashley aren't. That's something that really bothers me about Jacob and Miranda, they seem much too "perfect" to make me want them around or even bother to get to know them. Plus when Shepard is standing on the SR2 for the first time the camera eventually switches to an ass level shot of both of them, as if to drive it into our head "These characters are attractive, that is why you will want them". Personally I feel that BioWare thought physical attractiveness could carry both characters, because there isn't much else to either of them beyond their looks. Kasumi however is consistently written, she's funny both on and off the battlefield and she isn't with Cerberus! What's not to love?

mmmhh, probably not. It's not that I think she's the prettiest Shep here or in masseffectfaces, not at all
But the thing is it took me some time and work until I was satisfied with her looks. Three attempts in that blasted Char creator in ME2, each time making a run through Lazarus Project and Freedom's Progress. I decided on the Normandy whether I kept her or not.
Now, after a full run in ME1 is starting to feel like 'mine'. I know is silly, even childish. But that's the best explanation I have.

That's Hayley, my "new" femshep. Still doing her first run in ME2.

I know I posted a couple of shots of her. I don't remember which ones exactly, but yeah, there's a good chance you've already seen that one. She's very expressive there.
IIRC, that's when she talks about the dream/vision/nightmare from the beacon on Eden Prime.

More screenies !!

Lol!  I felt like they made Jacob's pants just as tight as Miri's to appeal to the FemShep players.  :pinched:

That is not entirely true. The only human Biotic in your squad in ME1 was Kaidan - so in ME1 they are rare. Plus a few sidequests (Chairman Burns) added to the feeling that Biotics are indeed "stigmatised" and kept a close eye on. Also remember Chakwas and Kaidan's conversations about the side effects human Biotics suffer.

Now in ME2 on the other hand - and here I agree with you - everybody and their friends suddenly start shooting blue energy around like it's no big deal and not worth mentioning - side effects, what's that?
I can buy Miranda being a Biotic with all the genetic engineering she received, but Jacob could have been a pure Soldier. What was the point in making him a Biotic? It doesn't even turn up in any conversation or at least none I know of, it doesn't add anything at all to his character.

I do think there is more to Miranda than her looks, but I do get tired of the constant ass or boob shots forced on me. What I don't get is why Bioware thought this to be necessary. Ashley was a great character and one fine looking woman and I noticed that without her wearing a ridiculous outfit and being forced to look at her "assets" all the time.
