me2, however, just...maleshep becomes this james bond character. i remember hearing a dev refer to him as such in an interview and i was like "wha? what shep are you talking about?" bond gets many ladies, works ALONE, is not a leader of anyone, and answers to no law. while the last (and the ladies) MIGHT work for renegade shep, none of the rest did. so maleshep goes off in this bond direction and femshep ends up with having to blatantly hit on maliens or reluctant crew to get any attention. meanwhile, asari keep making suggestive remarks in her direction all the time.

edit for grammar

 Bizarre

Except that, LI's aside, there's no difference between MShep and FemShep in the game at all in the end. Well, except for FemShep getting the odd extra line that MShep doesn't have. And anyway, FemShep fits the "Bond" role just fine(Stolen Memories)! :D Plus, the ME2 FemShep romances aren't all bad... ;)

Shepard: I'm all out of bubble gum. How 'bout you?
Kasumi: What?
Shepard: Never mind. Let's just go kicks some ass.
Kasumi: Why didn't you say that in the first place?!
Shepard: *sigh* No one appreciates the classics any more.

Ok its not femshep but Damn!  Thats the best pic of TIM I have seen! :o

But back onto femshep, after just over a month and 40hrs I done Amelia's ME playthrough (my avatar).   The ending of ME always waters my eye, even though I seen it a dozen times or more!   Did a soldier-paragon play with her but gave her biotic barrier as the bonus ability.  As a result I can now logically play a vanguard playthrough with her for ME2 without me questioning it.  However that may not happen for a little while with New Vegas out in a week. ^_^  But as it was a playthrough based for the Virmire DLC theres no rush right now

However after the game I checked my cannon femshep play through time as I was flipping across my career stats. Of course getting to lvl60 is two playthroughs but I did them both perfectionist.  As a result it was a staggering 61hrs 51 mins.   Her ME2 playthrough is at 57hrs 31 mins and I havent done Overlord, Kasumi or lotsb with her yet!     :P

I just thought it was awkward, then I thought FemShep is like an Asari magnet! I suppose it makes sense I mean female Humans are pretty similar to Asari so I imagine when the Asari first saw one they were like "Jackpot! They almost look exactly like us!"

What's with bagging on Shiala? I like Shiala. I didn't take her touch on the shoulder as a come-on, more as a "when we're not both dealing with life or death crap it would be nice to just sit down and shoot the breeze" kind of a thing, paired with a bit of regret that the only time they see each other is for troubleshooting.  jessica would like that, especially since she idolizes asari already.

Oh but do they really look just like us? Maybe not. Go back and listen to the all the comments at the Salarian bachelor party group in that bar on Ilium-- the one where Conrad Verner hangs out, can't recall the name.

'Zactly. While I can appreciate a funny comic, my Kira would never treat Shiala that way. It's too callous, really.

I think most of us think of it as a come-on. Yeah, it's out of the blue, but it seems to work that way in ME
Not compelling evidence of course, but Miranda does the same when she "initiates" the romance path with MaleShep.

I like Shiala too but it feels like a bit of come-on, at the very least it sounds like she's awkwardly asking Shepard out on a date. But prehaps Shiala did get caught in the "Everyone wants Shepard" stereotype, though I mean she does kinda want Shepard at least a little. :D

I don't even listen to myself when I'm drunk! I'm certainly not going to listen to a bunch of drunks talk about how Asari are mind controlling the entire universe to be universally attractive. Next thing you know they're going to talk about how the whole universe might be on the tip of a pin or how his blue could be my yellow. Alcohol does not make one a philosopher though drunks are sometimes known to philosophize.

What?! Drunks on a conspiracy theory kick are not to be trusted? All my illusions are shattered. :)
