Yay! Cecilia and Thane!

I told you, Ryn. Thane's romance is SOMETHING!

So if not Hale who I'd want to voice my FemSheps? I honestly can't imagine anyone else doing that anymore. Even tho I don't have the problem that some here have and Hale has become that one FemShep and others are hard to play. To me Hale is all my FemSheps. Well their voice anyway.

Jennifer continues her journey through ME2.

Elnora is about to get it.
Posted Image
Jennifer is always up for hitting things. (Poor Garrus doesn't want to get beaten tho. :D)
Posted Image
Would it be so bad that she knows she has a sister who loves her? (I've always liked the pics I get from this convo. There's something soft on the lighting or something there.)
Posted Image
She's not amused. She seems ready to kill something.
Posted Image
And He's propably the one she wants to kill. (I always want anyway.)

Jennifer Shepard, out!
Posted Image

Playing as paragade is really odd after pure paragon runs. She sometimes seems even darker than my renegade ever was. Lise was coldhearted b**ch so I kind of expected dark decisions from her, but Jennifer sometimes does things that had made me ask her why did she do that for.
She actually beat the **** out of Elias Kelham and then restricted her and used her spectre status to drive the lawyer away. Then she went and shot Joram Thalid. She really turned darker after ME1 and after she turned down Liara romance.  She hasn't connected any of the real romance choices in ME2, but she really enjoys spending time with Kelly. So I'm counting that as her romance option. :D

@Vralealien: I love that last screen shot! I still don't see why that's considered a renegade action given the circumstances.

I played through Horizon again last night and got around to recording the reunion between Kaidan and Shepard, a scene I always enjoyed in spite of its brevity:

Sorry for the picture spam. I was grabbing the stills with the Solaris soundtrack playing in the background so they seemed more emotional than usual.

Kaidan, you b*stard.

I had no idea that Shep died just so that you can re-create him/her in the character creation...That is so freaking stupid! Posted Image

come on, that's a pretty bold assumption. there is a lot more reasons for killing Shepard, though none of it makes this plot device less dumb

I don't actually think that's renegade one even tho it is renegade interrupt. I think they just used it so you can make the move if you wan't and out of 2 choices they have they used renegade interrupt.

As for killing Shepard which seem to be hot and somewhat OT topic for a change. I might be on the minority who actually liked that. It was bloody dramatic start and I don't even mind the resurrect part. I do want to get some info from somewhere how they did it or actually I don't, but my Shepards want. It might have been so they can reset things, but I seriously doubt that was the only reason. I'm sure they could have done all that some other way, but they chose to do it this way and as it is I liked it.
I don't like the fact that Shepard doesn't talk about it to anyone or does only under certain romances. I had to do lot of head gaming to get her talk about it. Now I just hope I will get atleast some of my questions answered on ME3 or on some DLC. I stay out of speculations. Those will just mess my head. :D

And back to FemSheps.

I've posted lot of my current FemShep, but not one picture of my very first. I have very few pics of her actually since I got fraps just recently.
This is my canon Jane Shepard. She's Colonist/Survivor and last pic tells who did she romance.

Did you enjoy the tour?

I've gotta say, Conrad sure seems to be taking the fact he's staring down the Gun That Killed Two Presidents in stride...

I can't find the interview, it was a podcast, but a couple of BW devs pretty much admitted the whole point to killing Shep was to recreate her face and give newcomers a fresh starting point.

The ME1 ambient lighting was soooo much better.  And yes, she is a beautiful Shep.  That almost looks like a photo.  :)

Kill off the main character, bring him/her back, and go nowhere with the subplot of resurrection, all to accommodate people who probably complain about not knowing what's going on when they start watching a movie half-way through. BRILLIANT!

I worry about the start of the next game....

Because Bioware should care a whole lot for all the newcomers to the third and last game of a trilogy, regardless of story integrity. Really now......is it that hard for newcomers to either play the previous games or read a plot summary of them?

And why a fresh start could not be made by simply letting Shepard pick up where she left off, only 2 years later, remains a subject of much musing between me and my mind.

N.B. Hello, pyramid!

Avoids pyramid.

They probably could have figured out another way to rationalize resettting the story but having Shep DIE probably just seemed the most dramatic way to start the story/get attention. I remember when they first started showing the intro of the Normandy being destroyed (E3?) and it was pretty shocking.

Which would have been alright if they'd ya know, addressed in any form in the story besides snarky one liners. Alas...

It seems silly that they would have done that just for the CC. Your appearance isn't even acknowledged in the game. They could have just put a standard CC at the beginning with no explanation like every other game out there.

They have to find another way to reset things fot ME3 anyway. double-zombiefied Shepard would be too much

That's the thing. Killing Shepard only to justify the CC is overkill....
