Isn't she just adorable? ../../../images/forum/emoticons/heart.png
Yes, yes she is.

She reminds me why I love playing FemShep so much. She is so expressive.

You should. I am so tempted into buying a better one but then I wonder if I should just wait til I can afford a gaming PC.

Since we've had games like DA,
KOTOR, and ME especially (as in a game where being female is actually
recognised in game and becomes part of the story etc.), do you guys now
get put off by games that allow only male protagonists to be played?
I definitely find myself turning my nose up to games that dont allow me a choice.
(i know theres men in here too lol but you know what i mean)
Yes, I do. I am so used to the option of playing as female now that I don't want to ever go back to the way things were. I was very excited about the rumors that there would be female agents in Crackdown 2 but upon hearing that it wasn't true, the game only ended up being a rent for me.

I noticed that at least Epic Games listened to its fans and added female COG soldiers to its arsenal. Gears of War used to be a "sausage fest", if you know what I mean...lol. I'm very excited for the game. Anya Stroud is even featured in their advertisements.

I hope that more game companies will start to add more lead female characters or side characters to their games. Commander Shepard has set the bar though.
