Oh and I just thought I would say I'm not ashamed of my love for Kathryn and Shai. I've devoted the past few months to the FemShep cause and I wouldn't have if I didn't have so much passion for Kathryn and now for Shai. Yeah, I've been in love before and been in relationships but right now I am single and they are my life right now. But I also don't think they are going to jump out of my tv and get married to me in Canada or something either. LOL. :blink:

And your Shai truly is amazing too! There's such deep emotion in her face. Eerily good creation.

As for the poll, *Attempted Paragon Femshep mode* Either way you chose, the folks who voted otherwise might be displeased; but not more so than they already are, or aren't, right now. So, just do as you see fit, and nothing will be lost either way.

I for one love all the pics of Fem!Shep. I love seeing how different each Shep looks (I know they can't be completely different we all use the same CC but still). So it's nice, plus I saw a fem!shep with the darker blonde hair color the other day and thought 'wow it doesn't look half as bad in-game as it does in the CC, sweet!'. I'm not riffing on ya'lls Sheps but you do give me ideas on how things work. Since, you know, I completely SUCK at using the CC. lol

I've got a question though. I write up little back stories for my Sheps and for Nona she has a tattoo. It's fine in ME1 b/c we don't see a naked Shep so the game can't contradict that (plus hers is on her back, a whole back tat in fact). But! Since ME2 and the whole resurrection thing with Shep... would Cerberus be able to recreate that tat? Would Miranda even think it necessary?

The Alliance might have Nona's tat on record (medical records) *maybe* since I know I had to list some of mine when I was in the service but... I'm just not sure.

So could anyone give me some perspective on this?

Mmm, I agree. I love Miri too but she is a bit more rough before Freedom's Progress. She wouldn't think it's necessary but TIM did want Shepard exactly as she was before. I know he meant personality-wise but still...

So it wouldn't be on the top of the list Cerberus has for rebuilding Shepard. I would think her brain and stuff would come first. I just wondered if it would be feasible to say that Nona had her back tattoo in ME2 as well. It's very distinictive and it's just *her*.

I don't know....

But I find letting Shepard deal with waking up without those tattoos she remembers to be just another chance to characterize her for yourself. Do you write in Shepard taking an hour to get them redone at Omega or Ilium, depending? Is an Earthborn Shepard glad to be without her old gang markings, or resent Cerberus remaking her all the more for it? How does Jack, her autobiographical ink, and her struggle with her past impact Shepard's reaction to the loss? It's good material.

Kathryn has such a beautiful face...such elegant, wholesome and timeless beauty...very "girl next door". I don't think she is capable of taking a bad screen shot....have yet to see one. Kathryn and ELE08's Teagan have to be my top favorites....along with Sage's Kyrie and Chignon's super unique Shepard (just can't think of her name though!...major brain fart! :blink:

Oooh! Thank you! I had never thought about it like that. It is good material for Shepard to think about. In fact the tat she got was from a friend on Earth and he died and she wouldn't want anyone else to re-create the tat since it wouldn't be *her* tattoo anymore (if that makes sense). Nona is Earthborn but her tats weren't from the gangs it was more of a way to express herself - so in a way Cerberus has taken that from her too.

So many ideas... thank you so much for this!

You're more than welcome to it! One of my early Shepards was Earthborn Adept, a kind of "Jack? There but for the grace go I" sort of character, so waking up robbed of her ink and encountering a woman whose life was written on her skin - a life she didn't really want any more, after a certain point in the story - really left me considering these questions.

Just wanted to say thanks to those who have complemented my FemSheppies. I aim for a certain look in my head and don't give up until I have achieved the desired look. Kathryn was made to have the face of a Paragon. Shai was created to look like she had been through hell in her life. Which she has. I should have gone to bed already but I was up finishing the suicide mission with Shai and then the beautiful cabin scene with Liara.

And since I'm up, I figure I should fill out Shai's Character survey. Woo hoo!

Intro stuff

Name: Shai Shepard
Background: Colonist/Sole Survivor
Alignment: Paragade sometimes borders on Renegon. (It's complicated)

ME1 Council: Saved those idiots onlybecause Liara urged her to
The Rachni: Let the queen live. She didn't like the idea of being the murderer of an entire race.
What happened on Feros?: I think only two colonists died.
Virmire: Ashley was left with the nuke.
Conrad Verner: She told him to take a hike.
Noveria: Didn't waste her time with Gianna and instead ratted out that Hanar in the shop to Anoleis.
Bring Down the Sky: Killed Balak as she has a pure hate for Batarians. She did feel guilty when reflecting to herself afterwards for not even considering the hostages.
Anderson or Udina: Anderson. "Nobody stabs me in the back, Udina. Nobody."

ME2 and the Council: Told them to cram her Spectre status.
The Collector Base: blown to hell
Suicide Mission casualties: none
The Geth: did not rewrite them
Tali: Ratted out Tali's father. She later regretted doing this but she was very angry at the time with the way Liara was on Illium and life in general (as usual). She did however urge the Quarians not to go to war with the Geth.
Genophage cure data: Told Mordin to hold onto it. She never thought the Genophage was a good idea.
Overlord: David was sent to Grissom.
Kasumi: Destroyed the graybox for her

Personal stuff

Romance: She hated herself for having feelings for Liara. It was a sign of weakness to her since she had silently vowed to herself to never get close to anyone. When Liara asked her on the old SR1 if there was something between them she angrily said there wasn't. After defeating Sovereign, the short amount of time they spent together managed to get her to slightly open up to the asari. For the first time in over 10 years, she had a friend. Two years later, she reciprocated the kiss that Liara gave her in the Shadow Broker's base. :wub:

I'm thinking about writing fan fic to go into more detail about this.

Why Shepard and her LI are such a great match:
Well, they are a new couple. Every thing is new to both of them since neither has ever had a serious relationship before. There's always been a connection there even though Shai tried to deny it. They both spent a good portion of their life looking after themselves. Liara understands Shai and can see behind her cold exterior. Shai just knows that no one has ever stuck around long enough to get to know her but Liara did. It intrigued her.

Best Friends:
Really only Liara. She was a pain to know back on the old SR1. She would sometimes get into fights about religion with Ashley. She was even more of a pain to know to those on Cerberus' payroll. She did share a few civil conversations with Kasumi and Samara though.

Personality:
Cold. She puts up a wall to anyone who tries to get to know her. She is not evil though. She still tries to do the right thing most of the time, unless anger gets the better of her. Shai hates herself for being alive after Mindoir and Akuze. She felt like if there was a god than he must love playing sick jokes on her.

Three interesting facts:
1) Alcohol is like truth serum for her. She embarassed herself in a bar on the Citadel once with Liara. :unsure:

2) She's a virgin. Well, was one until she invited Liara up to her cabin on the SR2. :blush:

3) One of the few things she can enjoy are over the top action flicks.

Those Kathryn and Shai models are amazing! I have honestly never seen a well proportioned and, you know, not hideously grotesque, custom female shepard. My brother's male looked alright so I couldn't include all the horrible and downright scary male sheps I've seen.

I remember early in this threads life someone came in attempting to troll saying we were all insane for being so dedicated to our femsheps. Some really good posts made him run away scared!

Its not like we love the pixels, but more of the persona femshep has.

This is my canon Shep: Rian......colonist.......war hero........very indroverted........she was recently able to open her heart and trust a certain man..........heart broken.......(had a relationship with her inquisitor from when she was at the alliance training camp.....he was a bastard but Kaidan took care of him lol..............you cant imagine what kaidan can do for his girl ^_^

Definetly love my FemSheps. When you go through hell with someone you tend to have strong feelings for them. Even if the hell was in game.

Luckily my better half falls in love with fictional characters too so she doesn't think it's odd.
