But seriously, I think some people are taking looks too seriously. I love my FemSheps for the whole package, not just the looks. They are strong women and that to me is the sexiest trait they have.
true, but femshep is strong if she looks like Yvonne Strahowski or the rear end of donkey...their looks are the only things we have control over
Same here. Beauty lies in the eye of the beholder after all. I've also seen a few FemSheps that I like quite a bit and can hold a candle to Lantrun, whom I stand by.Chugster wrote...
hmm, ive seen a few here that i didnt consider attractive...i wont name them...just wondering if im too picky

ooh, just thought of a question...has anyone seen a Shep on here that they think is better than theirs?
So far ive seen a few that come close but IMO none are as good as mine...

You know, I don't change my import face from ME1, but I see no problem with making tweaks, especially considering Shepard received some plastic surgery after her death.

thanks for the compliment...as for your other point...i like to use
custom hair and TIM eyes on alot of my Femsheps...we know she has
cyber-eyes coz they show on renegade, so i thought why not make a
feature of them...i posted a sneak peek ot ME2 Jane a page or two back.

I completely remade Kathryn's face when I imported her into ME2 for
the first time. It was my plan to do that from the get-go. She used to
look more like me in ME1 but I thought she was pretty boring...lol. So
I decided to go all out with her and make her as beautiful as I
possibly could. My first try was pretty much what she looks like now
but something was off with the shape of her face so I ended up thinning
it out a bit instead of having a really round face.

But I think the whole point is, looks are not everything. What I find attractive you might find hideous. Thats kind of the beauty of it. We can all create a Shepard that we want and identify with. Thank goodness too. Imagine if they were all the same. The replay value would be greatly diminished in my opinion. Part of what I like about ME is the background story and personality my Shep has taken on. Heck, I even recently started writing some of the stuff down. I've never found a character that has made my so passionate about the world and their well being.

If my life depended on me reconstructing Kathryn from scratch, I'd be a dead woman. Thank goodness I have her face code saved in a few different places. From what I can remember though when constructing the jaw and cheekbones is the "not too much, not too little" rule. Sorry that I can't be much more help.

Does anyone else not mind changing their Shepards in ME2? Like fixing things or remaking the face? With the exception of Nona (who I couldn't change because all her flaws (my mistakes) are *her*) I like remaking their faces. And I just handwave that Shep always looked like that.

awww thanks!Actually major tip! Those eyes look great in game but in the character creator they look really out of place. Its the lightest colour blue available on the CC screen and they look kind of fake on that screen. Dont let it fool you!!
Additionally I found always to exaggerate jaw and cheek lines a tad. Not by a lot. Its just that on some side on cut scenes when she rotates her head or the camera is looking at an angle they just seems so flat. If theres some angle or rise then the game lighting comes in so it works. Otherwise you risk the 6 hours into the game episode where you think "I should have raised her cheeks, or sharpened her jaw". Then it bugs you for the rest of the playthrough even though you rarely see those shots.
I know with Laura, her cheek bones are really over done to the degree where occasionally they almost point out in some screens, but I actually really like it. Mainly because the 95% of the time that works you never see it and instead you see a strong facial structure.

I really hate promotions that are restricted to one country or something. They suck. I guess I just need to hope they release the damn thing through cerberus network when the promotion ends. /sigh
Jennifer's not happy about restricted promos either

Yes, several of them. I'm sure I'm being unfair, but the first that come to mind...
Beauty and uniqueness, Sable's Jessica and Chignon's Noah...
Beauty and warmth, ryn's Kathryn and sage's Kyrie...
Yeah, I know their names, I'm lost....
