I can explain why I like Garrus as a LI the most.

He always has Shep's back, and always will. Even when Shepard works for Cerberus he trusts her and accepts that. Also he is a serious badass, because he held off an army for days by himself. 

Honestly though I liked his romance the most in ME2 for femshep because it came off as the most real. They have known and trusted each other for a good while, and while the romance may be goofy at some points, its very touching at the end. 

I am a guy just to tell you, but honestly I felt that Garrus and my FemShep Anna, really fit well toghther, and it was very natural. I good continue but I think I should stop before I squee myself to death over here.

Some of us stayed faithful to Kaidan or Liara...  Those are my only two romances, and I'm happy that way.

i love all the femsheps here. the femsheps on this thread clearly have a lot of thought and care put into their creation. 

@ AD: i'm with jlb. i am a very boring romancer. i had a renegade maleshep who romanced miri. she deserved better than him. every femshep i've had either romanced kaidan or she wasn't an incarnation of kyrie and so i stopped playing that character.

@AD, I'm with jib and sage here. I'm boring too. Only romanced Liara. I always wondered what drew people to both Thane and Garrus. I've started a few games with the intention of romancing one of the two, but it just didn't seem right. I can only play Alex and well, she'd never cheat on Liara.

Better? That's a highly subjective term. Prettier, for certain. Rynluna's Kathryn is by far purtier than my Kira. So is Chignon's Femshep, probably. But better? For Chignon, probably. Which is my point exactly. The only one I truly bonded with is my own Kira. It's with her I started, and with her I'll finish ME3. Naturally, I'll slide into the gorgeous skin of Kathryn every once in a while, and feel honored to be walking around in such blistering beauty; but at the end of day, my own Femshep will always be dearest to me. There's something about walking into hell together with someone, and walking back out together again, which creates a bond no prettier face can tear asunder.

Yes, but I've come to love my Shepard very much even after I modded her hair. One day, I will figure out to turn her eyes all glowy green.

I always have a hard time not romancing Garrus in ME2. Jessica doesn't like men too much, but Garrus isn't a man per se, he's an alien, and she's a bit of a xenophile, in more than just the traditional sense of the word. I guess more accurately, she's a bit of a misanthrope, and would rather spend time around other species than her own. Garrus is the only male she knows she can trust unconditionally, she knows he's strong and dangerous but would only use that to help and protect her, and his darkness and pain is so very close to her own in ME2 that it creates an instant bond that goes beyond the professional, respectful friendship they developed in ME1. Plus for a long time after waking up on a slab in a Cerberus space station, he's the only old friend she has, the only real tie to her past. Joker and Chakwas weren't close enough before she died to provide that link; their friendships only deepened after she came back and didn't have anyone else to turn to.

Unfortunately, she can't bring herself to cheat on Liara, knowing it would hurt both of them when she ultimately left Garrus. Maybe if she could be sure that Garrus would just view it as "easing tension" and nothing more than that, she'd go for it, but it's obvious that he views it as more than that.

edit:  Although I'm curious what happens in LotSB if you do cheat on Liara...
