Because new femshep armor is crap! Sorry, but i simply hate it. I can't live without the mod which gives me my old ME1 armor back

I didn't much like the ME2 armour either on FemShep, the only one I actually kind of liked with the Collector suit.

However I love the Kestrel armour (minus the helmet) because it actually looks realistic (not molded around her breasts) and protective.

Yeah, i liked Kestrel too, and, strangely, Cerberus armor. It fits like pyjamas^_^

And i guess i'm on the minority here, but Kasumi dress was complete fashion failure. I try not to use it at all

I did find some F!Shepard screenshots on the main Mass Effect 2 website. I gather though, it seems, that they weren't there prior to the release of the game.

I would also like to perhaps advocate unique content for Female Shepard. Dialogue in certain interactions with NPCs, for example. I know this already exists in-game, but it is so sparse and rare it is virtually unnoticeable.

On a related note, I'd also like to see unique animations for FemShep. Whilst she looks absolutely gorgeous in her formal dress included in Kasumi's DLC, her run and walk does not suit her attire at all.

Her walk and run anims don't suit her gender at all...

Seriously... what happened?  We had sexual dimorphism in the movement anims in ME1, where'd they go?

I like the new armor, but I do agree that her chestplate needs some work.

Something else that I feel needs improving in ME3....FemShep's dancing!

It wasn't great in ME1, but it was ten times better than what is featured in ME2!

The dancing and walking animations in ME2 are equally weird for both genders.

I don't think anyone is asking for them to do a CGI trailer with FemShep, or to give Jane Shep equal time with Sheploo in all trailers....just some screens, some indication of her existence would be nice to show us prior to the games release.

I concur.

I agree. I would prefer if FemShep enjoys some degree of exposure in marketing and promotional material. An acknowledgement of her existence would be excellent, as I find it incredibly sad that some players are unaware of the fact that you can play the character of Commander Shepard as a woman. I think the fact that BW backtracked regarding featuring FemShep in screenshots in ME2 to be extremely disappointing. Nobody is advocating that she eclipse Sheploo, but some exposure would be nice.

Yes, I believe they were released in the week after the game came out.

I wonder if it's difficult to program her ME1 movement animations back into ME3??  Or can they just start over again and make her walk like she isn't a 300 lb quaterback?!

I don't believe it's possible through modding unfortunately.

A 300-lb Quarterback with a gimp and a spinal misalignment.  MaleShep has the problem too, but the Quarterback bit is a bit less egregious in his case.

Agreed. FemShep's walking and running animations in ME2 are terrible.

I much prefer the running animations from ME1. They were unique and specific to each gender Shepard, and suited her perfectly.

What?

You mean you don't find her gorilla manwalking sexy as hell? :o

Well, Garrus, Thane, and Jacob found the walk sexy enough.  :D

Perhaps that's why Liara broke off the kiss, and the real reason as to why Kaidan yelled at Shepard?

It all makes sense now!

I was trying to get a good quick screenshot of my default FemShep in the Kestrel armor (love it) but ended up with this oddity instead.

i have to admit, one of the reasons (just one out of many many reasons) i like her so much is because my mother always told me I walked like I was plowing a field, unladylike.  :)  Seeing how Shepard walks, gives me hope.

I am also one of the many who just likes being able to play a character of her caliber.  Smart, capable, able to shoot straight, stand up to evil and smack them in the eye.  I've also told my friends how great it is to play a woman who is saving the galaxy.

I specially like it when she says things like -

"I'd rather drink acid after chewing on a razor blade
that's cute, you think I give a damn"

They are things I would love to say but wouldn't think of until 1 in the morning after going over and over a conversation.  Actually, i used - that's cute, you think I care -  on my Husband and he started laughing.

and in ME2 the pep talk to the krogan scout.

Ah, I love the pep talk that Shepard gives the krogan scout. Brilliant voice acting from Jennifer Hale. The other scene that you described, where Harkin crudely propositions FemShep, is also an excellent scene due to the manner in which she dismisses him. I think that more gender specific dialogue like that is something that needs to be incorporated to a great extent.

If I remember correctly, in ME2 isn't there an advert on the Citadel for a biotic amp directed at Shepard that refers to her femininity?

And, please, please, PLEASE, in the future, don't force our poor FemSheps to flirt with someone they may not want to *coughs* Jacob *coughs*

YES!!!!  I just wanted to talk to him to see if I wanted to flirt later, not sound like I was ready to jump his bones without any additional thought.  The tone was just really bad.  I hope this does not happen again.
It did make me think they need a separate wheel option for romance comments and put pushy as a choice, but not the only choice.

I am so happy to have found this thread! My favorite Femshep line? "You don't think I'm hungry?!"

So much flair and personality. ILU, Jennifer Hale! Hope this topic remains active and lovely! I'll be sure to fill it with all my favorite Femshep screenshots and videos.

The ME1 dancing was bad, but at least she was trying. In ME2, it looked like she was too drunk to care.

You could add this FemShep version of the Overlord Trailer I made a while back to the OP...
