Okay, I know there are people in here who know how to texmod the game.  Is there anyone who could tell me how to get this



into the game to replace the default Liara picture on the cabin desk?  Or at least somewhere to go to learn how to mod textures for ME2?  I would also like to mod the Sentry Interface to not glow as brightly, so it wouldn't obscure Shep's eyes so much.

I just started texmodding -- clothes only so far. You need to go into ME2 using the "logging mode" tab in texmod. If you do a google search for how tos there are some out there. They're mostly for other games but the basics are the same:

hit the plus or minus keys to scroll through the textures until you get what you want and then hit the key you chose for logging. Then open the textures in an image editing program (I'm using Photoshop) and mod away.

It can get a bit tedious, but the desktop photo is pretty simple. The aspect ratio on your photo is a bit off. The one from the game is a square shape. However, I did a quickie for you. As soon as I get it uploaded I'll pm you the link.

The haircut that is on Default Jane Shep is the one I like most in ME1 but in ME2 it looks greasy. Just bad to me - however the Chakwas haircut looks tons better in ME2.

I'm just about finished going through about a hundred or so screen shots and it has me thinking. Does anyone have a system to how they name shots they take, if they re-size them or anything else like that? I find I re size a lot of my shots and give them certain names depending on who is in the shot.

ugh, so I failed at my first attempt to make a shep that looks like Zach Levi so he can romance miranda in all his Chuck bartowski glory. so I'm gonna just remake Kat Shep over so I can get some screen for her from anyone gracious enough to take her facecode.

@ AD - it's too bad miri can't romance your kat shep. miri/femshep would be a very interesting romance, imo. given miri's complex personality and history, i think there could be so many interesting story possibilities there. eh, sigh. it's really too bad they didn't allow for it.

@Flies - I like those sketches. First one is my favourite. Actually reminds me a bit of my sis's shep Peyton (not that anyone would know who that is)



Another note...I'm impressed with myself. Maybe I shouldn't be, because she's not the most unique looking shep. But those hours spent in the creator paid off. Got her face down almost identical I think and now also have a face code to go with it. But you know what the worst thing is? I kind of just want to play ME2 again. Not in the "mood" for ME1 at the moment. I'll probably pull up my save where she romanced Liara and go from there. Even so..

that's what I said! when I heard Liara went both ways in me! I was like "Oh maybe Miranda is that type of LI because she's the impartial docotr who brought you back to life" but noooo. Mir/femshep and Ash/ femshep would be AMAZING!!!!!!! my sheps could die happy womenz

heh. i know EXACTLY what you mean about ME1. part of me adores it: Kaidan! catsuit armor! no working for Cerberus! Kaidan! the original plot arc! shep acting like a human being with faults as well as strengths! and did I mention...Kaidan!

but the other part of me is like....Mako driving....ugh.

and then i just want the shiny of ME2. i am truly, truly hoping that ME3 keeps all the things i LOVED about the gameplay of ME2, adds some better hairstyles and brings back squaddie banter and kaidan. if they do that, kyrie will be one very happy femshep.

@ AD: i totally agree. i am female, i am straight, and yet i really wanted to make a femshep to romance miri. maybe it's because my one and only dude shep romanced miri and he was a total jerk. i felt like miri deserved better. heck, with all the LotSB stuff that came out, i feel like the right femshep could make miri happy.

poor miri. i like that character so much.

I know, when i first read that I was devestated for her. I actually wanted her and my main malshep to have kids (who'd bully that kid right?) but now that she's "sterile" that just damn near ruins her as an LI. Also I think I could safely say I wouldn't like Jacob as much if femshep could romance miranda, he'd get no priiiize at all, unless Miranda and Femshep were feeling adventurous  I'm terrible.
