Love it good work. Also read the other about Liara and shep, how true makes me :crying:

Mmm, but wonderfully written, and touching.  The ability to write really _good_ fanfic is a pretty rare gift.  Im jealous, Jamie, LOL!  I hope there's more to come.

Thank you, but I actually don't consider myself a good writer, but again.  Thanks.

Okay, quick question: At the beginning of ME2 when Shepard is being scanned and you see the skeleton, it's a man's skeleton. I'm playing femShep. I understand why it was done that way. They could only do one intro like that. Still, I have to say, it just about pulled me out of the game the first time I saw it. It was such a blatant, glaring error that it really caught me off guard. Was anyone else bothered by that or am I just crazy?

Well I really didnt notice it. I just kinda thought it was another loading screen, nothing too much to it. Is there really any difference in the skeleton between man and women, or is the actual x-ray/body shown and it looks like a man? I cant remember that loading screen that well

I completely forgot about this but yes, I agree!  I notice it everytime I play and it irks me a bit. Heh, I thought I was the only one.

At the beginning during the Lazarus Project as they rebuild Shepard.

The head (cranium) area looks too large to be a woman's and the sillouhette looks like Sheploo's head, actually.

It kinda just looked like a Skeleton to me - I don't think I exmained it closely enough to notice proportions. From what little I do remember, I think it was all fractured and ruined, presumably to show just how catastrophic poor Shep's injuries really were.

In any case, that IS an oversight, but its the kindof thing I can forgive them. Id much rather they fixed something like the (frequently) afformentioned walk animation first, for example.

We need better hair! There are three bun styles that are virtually the same. Low bun, mid bun, and super high bun and they are all anti-hair part. Ashley gets a hair part and we don't?!

Mmm, so true!  I always wished you could get Ashley's sensible-yet-stylish hair style in ME1.  It alwasy bothered me that all the styles where you wear your hair up (which is most of them, really), your hair is pulled super-tight to your head.  I suppose its easier to create that way for the animators?  *le shrug*  Anyhoo, I totally agree.

I didn't notice the skeleton thing, but I was paying more attention to the busted bones... then it was gone.  Now I probably won't not notice it.

So, then!  Pre-Lazarus scars on FemShep.  Stylish?  Ugly?  Good idea?  Bad idea?  Did yours have one or no?  ^_^

Mine always had one...usually the one that starts above her right eye and ends on her lower left cheek.

I PREFER the ME1 scars to the stupid star wars "your actions change your face" scars on my FemShep (and DudeShep).... that sh!t should stay in star wars. It doesn't make one lick of sense in the Mass Effect universe!

My canon, main Shepard has no scars at all, but my secondary Renegon Shepard has a scar on her cheek. She's very harsh, as she's a Torfan vet!

I gave Freya the lip scar. It comes with one on the cheek too, but I kinda ignore that one.

In my head!canon Liara likes the way that scar feels :o

The lip-and-cheek scars have always resembled a graze from below, from shrapnel while standing or a close ricochet during a firefight. Having predominantly played War Heroes - what can I say? - it always felt right.

Though at least one Earthborn has had the near-the-eye scar from a knife fight in her youth that marked the end of her gang affiliation.

My main Shepard had one scar on her cheek. I figured she couldn't walk away from Elysium without some scars.

My Shepard did have a scar in ME1, but I dropped it for the sequel (I dont think I remember seeing the option in the new character creator, actually).

It's a shame that the old ME1 scars were removed in favour of the glowing red scars that are a result of the Lazarus Project. One of my friends even had an entire story devoted to the scar he gave her Shepard, and the reasons as to why she had been scarred in that manner. Bah!

Yes it is!  I suppose that explains why I didn't see them.  I'm not adverse to the idea of imposing some lingering, physical reminder of Shepard's ordeal (she died, after-all), but glowing red lines that got worse when you're a jerk?  LIke other people, it seems, I was having serious Star Wars flashbacks.  Besides which, I don't see any reason why they couldn't have kept both (the normal scars and the special, glowing mood-ring ones).
