Tip: If you want to disable lod for characters (and maybe objects) just add SkeletalMeshLODBias=-2 under [SystemSettings] in ME2. Same thing works in ME1 too, no more crude transitions form low poly characters to high quality ones. Trilinear=True (add that too) gives better texture filtering since for some reason Bioware likes to keep bilinear filtering as default. ParticleLODBias=-2 doesn't make things worse either. I changed to ME1 to use VSM shadows instead, which I prefer over poorly dithered branching PCF shadows.

Before anyone says that she's a turncoat, well it's not exactly true. Let's just say that she's polite.

What do I have to add in coalesced to get N7 Onyx heavy armor in ME2?

Im not sure not sure heavy Onyx is in ME2 actually. I think its just the light model.  Someone else may be able to give more info on that though.

But I really do like those pics, you can certainly see the difference in textures.   Although you need to look at it for a bit because I was busy admiring your femshep for quite a while first  :)

Good tips, mate! :) I'll go apply them rightaway.

*snip*

This is Moira Shepard.  It took me a while to get her design the way I wanted, but I'm happy with the result.  I also changed her name a few times.  She's a bit more exotic than what I usually do, but I wanted her look to match her personality.

She's an Engineer.  Earthborn and Ruthless.  I'd say the best way to describe her would be a Renegon.  I'm still fleshing her out in my head, but I've got a pretty good idea of what she's like.

As an Earthborn, I imagine her running with a gang for a short time.  Her extreme intelligence and talent for combat would have gotten her recruited by higher ups in organized crime, however.  She was beginning to undergo training as an assassin and thief, but decided this wasn't the life she wanted and enlisted in the Alliance to get out.

She's cold and calculating when it comes to combat or dealing with people she doesn't trust.  When it comes to her crew and squadmates, however, she considers them her people.  They're important to her and their well being is on her agenda.  She also has a dry sense of humor that can sometimes be misinterpreted as hostility.

That's what I've thought up so far.  She's going to be an interesting character to play out.  Going to start an ME1 run tomorrow.

She's very pretty, Aislinn! I also have a Renegon Engineer Shepard, but I'm yet to finish ME1 with her. I will do so eventually, as I want to continue her story through ME2 and perhaps finish the trilogy with her. It's going to be hard playing a Shepard that is not my canon, though.

I sort of wish I had ME2 for the PC, just so I could hack it and get the armor Shep wears as the Normandy crumbles around her. I like it alot better than the N7 armor we get. Although, I do like the customization of the armor, so I suppose that's a bit of a trade off.

Heavy Onyx:

And is it just me, or is there a slight Lily Allen resemblance going on here?

Totally see the resemblance too. I like Moira. She is lovely, with some uniqueness to her face.

When the pics finally all load I will start uploading some from my latest Suicide Run.

Needless to say I freaking love the ML-77.

Nothing quite compares to firing a missile salvo after Harbinger.

The ML-77 is one of my favorite heavy weapons, more so that the Collector Beam. I tend to use them on the Praetorians though, when they do show up. The only time I think I've used the Collector Particle Beam was...on the last fight of the game, I believe?

I love it for the Fire and Forget feature, plus its like a one hit kill on many things on Veteran.

Just have to say though, as much as keeping the base is tempting, blowing it to bits, and telling TIM to STFU and GTFO is way better from Hale's voice than Meer's voice at the end.

Pics are halfway loaded.

that's nothing, use it on Garrus' recruitment mission and fire it where the troops come from, it's an amazing sight.Posted Image

I like the missile launcher. When I have to use a heavy weapon, it's my choice. Well the cain gets used a rare few times though. I was never one who get into the particle beam.

That's what I love most about the ML-77. You cap pop off one or two missles and then just got back to the firefight at hand. It's a marvelous weapon.

Yeah, Hale telling Illusive to just "STFU. We're doin things my way now" was pretty epic. Hale's just a fantastic VA for Shepard, it's just freaking ridiculous. She can just...say these lines in a certain tone and it feels right for me. She's such a cool woman.

Ah, so she's just got Legion! I've always sort of struggled to characterize him. Well, the rest of the squadmates aren't any better, but Legion lacks characteristics that I can recognize.

That level's a very interesting one. I like the sense of...creepiness you get from the video logs...and all the husks, abominations, and scions you could shake a stick at.

Did anyone else think that the Reaper Core looked like a geth's head? Just a thought. Maybe it's nothing.

I like Legion what can I say Ive wanted a robot friend since i was like 6.

Also the final fight is so easy with the right build.

This is the very reason I want LotSB. Shep gets some very good action-y cutscenes as well as some reconsilation (sp?) with Liara. I like it when we get to see our FemShep kick a little butt in cutscenes instead of standing around and talking, but that's just my two cents on how I like my Shep portrayed.

People can say what they like about it, but in ME2 Garrus was my favorite romance choice.

The ending is so well done and that means a lot because usually I laugh at anything overly romantic.

The music, body language, expressions on Shep's face as she shows concern, humor, and sadness, plus Brandon K's VO really won me over.

Dont care how many manly points it cost me to say it but I really found it sweet.

I liked the Garrus romance. I'm a big sap, and always found it sweet when he would basically say that so many things have already gone wrong in his life and he just wanted something to go right for once (horrible paraphrasing there btw)

From what I've read and watched, the Garrus romance does seem sweet. I can see why some Shepard's would go for him. The romance initially comes off as incredibly awkward, but I imagine they get past that relatively soon.
