Although I always attempt to avoid the love interest "confrontation" in ME1 due to the fact that I dislike deceiving characters that are my favourite, I have to say that it's incredibly well written. All characters involved handle it in a mature and adult way, and there is no bitterness or hostility involved at all. It's incredibly well-done, and all characters involved shine and showcase just how mature and adult they are. I like it.
I agree with you 100% Although I just figured out how to avoid the"confrontation" after something like 7 playthoughs, lol. Seriously, I always screwed up the dialogue with Kaidan and I just figured he couldn't take the hint. It is unfortunate that you have to kind of be down right rude, but that's neither here nor there. Getting back to my main point, I'm glad they all act like adults. I would have been very disappointed if they had started fighting or holding grudges or whatnot. It goes to show how much respect they have for both themselves and for Shepard.

Yeah, I really wish others could see this too. Liara's 'obsessive' hunt for Shepard's body was more than about friendship, as she believes Shepard is the only one that can lead the fight against the Reapers. But a surprising amount of people only see it as Liara's crazy/obsessive love for Shepard that drives her, and nothing practical like this.
For being obsessively in love with Shepard, she seemed pretty distant (pre-DLC) and then rather hesitant to start the relationship again.
Anyhow, I loved how the relationship was handled in the Shadowbroker DLC (and I actually like her not sobbing better), but in my opinion the greatest moment with Liara was the interrupted kiss in ME1

No happy future there...

(And I don't think anyone ever called Noah intimidating yet.)
Are you kidding?! She looks so dainty and delicate and, in my personal opinion, a pretty-but-not-beautiful girl-next-door kind of face, and it's easy to think of her as frail. But then you get her in other shots and combat situations and certain angles, and suddenly that fine-boned face of hers is just terrifying. I can totally buy her as a femShep that would be able to stare down a batarian without even trying.
Huh. Now that you've said it, Sable, I can see it, too. I really ought to do a video of Noah like sagequeen suggested.
This thread really helped me to see my Shep in a different light and from different angles - so thank you all for that!

Totally see the resemblance too. I like Moira. She is lovely, with some uniqueness to her face.
Thank you! I think her defining feature would probably be the eyes. I used the number 1 eyes, with the crazy eyelashes. I always avoided them before, because I thought they might look silly. I was happily wrong.
EDIT:
As for the voice acting of Mark Meer and Jennifer Hale, I tend to find Hale delivers her lines better. She's got this amazing voice that just charms me. Perfect for a badass female soldier. As mentioned before, there could have been some bad directing going on, limiting Meer's potential. He does a great job voicing other characters. I tried giving ManShep a chance a few times, but I just couldn't. I'm far too attached to FemShep, now.

ThanksShe is still a soldier but with some biotic powers. This picture is from the "Overlord".
Awesome! I love the pose, very dynamic!
Oh, Aislinn? Earlier on today, I watched your Constance/Liara video once again. It's awesome...probably one of my favourite videos of the pairing on YouTube. Excellent work. I can't emphasise enough how good it is!

1 - LotSB. i didn't care for her much before that, but after, it really made her shine. the VS need similar treatment.
I've always liked the Liara's character, but LotSB really cemented her role as Shepard's friend and made her personality come to life for me. As a Shep that doesn't romance her, I love what they've done with her character. I really hope they do the same for VS. A character is made by the quality of their writing. So it's hard for me to blame others for disliking certain characters when writing is to blame.
Example: Garrus in game one was a decent character, but in the second game they turned him in this totally awesome badass, interesting character
Ultimately (despite everything I imagine happened in my head or write down as fanfic) it's the devs who decide where the characters go. I want them to really make Kaidan/Ash come to life in the game, and cement their role in the story like they did for Liara.
Err this is kind of OT.
I see you kept her old scars. I like. Tough yet vulnerable.

I really dig how she's so delicate but at the same time has this really renegade side to her. No one will ever see her coming
Come to think of it Femshep does seem to look alternately adorable

or ready to crack some heads.

It's why I loves her.

You are very kind. I've been doing my best to improve with each video I make. As long as people enjoy them and feel moved by them, then I've accomplished my goal.

She's talking to Kal Reeger there. I think she just realized Adam Baldwin is a quarian...and she just wants to squeeze him. I may be projecting.

OH MAN. That smile. I take it you did this mission early, given the fact that Noah has the M8 in her hands. I want me some DLC. C'mon, Mass Effect 2 GOTY!
EDIT: Gah! A quote fail!

Yes, I think I did that mission as the very first in that particular playthrough. It's also one of my very first screenshots - as you can probably see from the lack of her "signature" light N7 armour.

What class is Noah and what's her background/reputation? Here I am, fawning over her face and appearance and I don't even know her class or anything. D'oh! I know she's a biotic, but I want to say Vanguard for some reason. Or maybe just a plain Adept.
She's an Adept/Earthborn/Sole Survivor. It's my favourite combination.
If you want a good read, Sky, you could try out the FemShep group. There's this awesome thread that has all the profiles and background information of many, many FemSheps compiled - Noah's too.

Heavy Overload (maxed)
Heavy Incinerate (maxed)
Attack Drone (maxed)
Cryo Blast (one point)
Max out Tech Mastery (Demolisher)
Last time, I took 'Stasis' as a bonus, but her 'canon' bonus power is Neural Shock.
However, in my current run, she will be a Shotgun Engineer, so I may tweak the above a bit (like, take the 'Mechanic' specialization as it gives more health). I may also not worry about Overload, as I can just blast through shields with the shotty.

@ rev - i often find the class i love most in a game is not at all the one i thought i'd like. adept sounded prissy to me - like, space sorceress or something. i only played it to unlock singularity. and then i got hooked and could not stop playing it. it's not the toughest or badassest class there is (vanguard would be that, imo) but it just has this amazing...something. i guess i like how lightweight it is - just shep, a pistol, her wits, and her brain impluses.
I guess adept is the 'space mage' class, but it always struck me as the most badass. I mean, Shep doesn't even need weapons, she can rip you apart with her brain. It's almost primal.
My favorite though is infiltrator. If a sniper-type class is available, I'll pick it, be it with a gun or a bow. I think stealth is fun, and I like taking people out from afar.
Adept comes in a close second.
