I really wanted to like the sniper rifle. I couldn't though. I was horrible with it. I'm not sure if it was how I was using it or what, but didn't work for me. I enjoy the shotgun though. It's one of my favourites.

Rebecka Shepard, Spacer+War Hero, Vanguard.
Mostly paragon through ME1, as as for ME2, we'll see.
Anyways, ME1:

And ME2:

And now I see what you guys mean about those eyelashes disappearing
Should be fixed when I save & re-load, I believe.
But I also noticed that her freckles disappeared in ME2...
Which sucks, 'cause I was quite fond of them

@ Chignon
I'm trying, but finding a backround that suits her is kind of...hard to place. I think I'm going to go down the Colonist/Ruthless route, but Torfan, for her, was a sort of catharsis, a purging of all that hate she felt for the batarians and slavers who took her parents away from her. A bit cliche, I know, but that's what I feel her past is like.
I imagine her home would be on the edge some cliffs overlooking a vast river, with all sorts of small tunnels and caves running underneath her house. She'd go there to hide from the world and to just get away from it all, and to shoot down some nasty critters or set up beer cans to shoot with her shotgun when she was feeling angry. She nicknamed the weapon 'Lucky', due in part that she's lucky enough to properly handle a shotgun at her age (Wasn't Shep 16 when the slavers hit Mindoir?)
EDIT: For her build, I imagine:
Warp -> Heavy Warp
Singularity -> Wide Singularity
Pull -> Pull Field
Shockwave (at one point)
Biotic Mastery -> Bastion
Warp Ammo -> Heavy Warp Ammo

If I may. If you make that background with the colonist/ruthless combination and make her a complete paragon it won't be as cliche'd. torfan could have been her losing grip on herself and acting purely out of revenge for her family and colony but then afterwards once she saw what she lost (3/4 of her squad) she becomes a better person by vowing to never let her personal feelings get in the way of her better judgement. that's the way I see it at least.Skyline_Stanza wrote...

Ya know, I always thought the eyelash thing was intentional. Like Shepard's really supposed to look like crap when she wakes up and that's their way of doing it. There seem to be 2 settings... Eyelashes with mascara and no eyelashes at all.
That is something I did not notice. In fact I think it's just the opposite for me. My Shep's freckles are slightly more noticeable in ME2. Weird how that works.Rob_J_R wrote...

speaking of femsheps up and doing their own thing, after much hacking of colors and armors and tweaking kyrie's face, i finally felt like she just said, "enough already! just import me straight up, hack off some of this rouge on my cheeks, and give me my old style armor and i'm ready to go."

Miranda and I were like "But...but...! The shiny new armorz! why are you wearing lower-rez merc crap?" and kyrie said, "it has a few scratches and dents, but i like to think that gives it character."

miranda didn't get the reference, but i did, so i let her have the crap merc armor. even miri has to admit shepard rocks it.

um...yeah. i'm sort of crazy.

If anything, I'm crazy as well, for trying to RP erry aspect in the game, instead of going for that tactical gameplay feel. I took Mordin and Grunt with me on Purgatory, where sheilds were in abundance, all because I felt like the two of them needed some 'fresh' air', Grunt moreso than Mordin, as he was probably itching for a fight. Needless to say, taking down the YMIR mechs at certain parts were beastly.

and i think i RP a little too much of the tactics, too. well, heck, i'm going to be doing this insanity run in THAT armor. for purgatory i took garrus and zaeed - the former officer and the crook. it seemed to fit...
edit: okay, technically zaeed isn't a crook, but kyrie sort of views him as such.

@ sage: Oh my word, it is Meer (just checked a second ago). Haha! I never would've guessed...
Meer also does Prazza on Horizon, Captain Kar'Danna on Tali's loyalty mission, the food shop clerk turian and the shotgun-obsessed turian on the Citadel, the volus posing as Fade on Garrus' loyalty mission, the voice of the PA system VI in the Dracon Trade Center, and bunches of other roles. He's the most widely used voice talent in Mass Effect, and is quite skilled as an actor. I don't know why his portrayal of Shepard falls so flat. I guess the voice directors are always telling him to reign it in. "Stoic! We want stoic, man!"
Of course he also has to compete directly against Hale, who is just inimitable.
again, i think meer = avatar, hale = character. the more i see of the game, the more i feel that was what the intention was - directorial or actor, i'm not sure, but it sure feels like that's what they wanted

Hehe, Alexis is surely tempted. Jilani certainly would deserve it, but it's so much more vindicating telling her off by reciting the names of the fallen ships, imo.

I think that was what I was going for, at least in my head. That's kind of how I viewed all Paragon's who picked the Ruthless backround, unless otherwise noted.

@ sky: yes, that was exactly the feel i wanted: "i guess i'm a freelancer now." not cerberus - freelancer/spectre. and as i wrote into my fanfic that kyrie tends to go for old band t-shirts, it sort of fit. i originally saw her as having expensive tastes, but that's only for guns. she likes shiny new pistols.
and i think i RP a little too much of the tactics, too. well, heck, i'm going to be doing this insanity run in THAT armor. for purgatory i took garrus and zaeed - the former officer and the crook. it seemed to fit...

But overall, I just love RPing the little nuances and other interesting things that happen as I play. For example, FemShep's currently puttin the hurt on the Scion you encounter on Horizon, when, out of the corner of her eye, she spots Harbinger, cocking his hand back to blast her with a flaming orange Warp ( At least, that's how I see his little Warp attack). FemShep retaliates with her own and both of them get blasted of thier feet from the others power. (When in reality, both were merely injured.)

Welcome! I'm still a little new here myself, but the girls sure have made me feel welcome. What kind of class and background goes she have?
I see she's wearing Miranda's outfit. Do you have her wear that in combat or just on the Normandy 2.0? Speaking of that outfit, and the general lack of combat armor in general for squadmates, I've always thought that the biotic squadmates generated a constant biotic barrier around themselves to offeset their lack of defenses. (Jack and Miranda especially)

That's acutally a good point. I always thought about how they they go into combat wearing either (nearly) nothing, or just their regular outfits. Then again, some of them do seem to die quite frequently during combat
