Picture describes my femshep? well I don't have it sine I can't do screens but I imagine it's a moment in gameplay for her (not in the lsit but who cares) when Kallen was going through LoTSB and she did her homerun technique on vasir to prove she was the superior Vanguard. Proving that Spectre or no you cna't Kill commander Kallen Shepard unless you have a BFG. and then you better use it while she's not looking.

Very nice! I went to your page and watched the vids. They were pretty good! I also saw F1r3storm's "Still alive" vid and that blew me away too. WOW. xD Makes me wish I had the time patience and editing skills used to make these vids. Oh, and the ME2 PC edition. Hahaha. Oh well, Xbox 360'll work for me.

Mmmm I generally imagine the main concept at first,  then I look at what I have at my disposal to get the job done. In this image, for example , I wanted Shepard to have a determined posture. The problem was that this kind of posture does not exist In-Game, I thus had to cheat a little by using another image that I modified. I also wanted her to look at the space vaccum from a window. At this point I didin't know exaclty what she will  looking at

Then, when I have a good basis to start with, I add some stuff one element at the time and tweak them to fit the composition better or delete them if they don't please me enough or simply if I find something better.  I move them in the places which seems the most credible or where they look cool

When all is almost done and in place, I make some more tweaks (scale change, blending, filters etc) and begin the color corrections in order to get the final overall look.


Voilà

I mainly use After Effects and Gimp, but also Virtual Dub (to take screenshots from my frapsed videos) and PhotoFiltre. This composition took me about 10 hours (because I often changed my mind lol).
And yes she is my Shepard, Eva ^^


I hope that it is understandable because I am not  an expert in English yet XD

Thanks Sky!  ...She definately got her mother's looks, and her green eyes.  I always had a mental image of her mother in my head since I first started playing...so when I designed Maddy, it took me about 12 hours to get it right:.  

The Piercing green eyes have always been one of my main focal points for Maddy, and my vision of her mother. It is mentioned in Maddy's backstory as well.

I'm a sucker for green eyes.  Trista has the deep brilliant green ones.

(Actually, scratch that. This is pretty much what I always thought about female video game protagonists in general.)

Wow....who's Shep is the example pic she used? She looks VERY familiar, but it's like....2 AM here, and I'm about to hit the hay and I can't remember who specifically.



What I will say is that I agree with what this woman states, that gender sometimes gets in the way and has some negative effects on how they're percieved and I love that she says that FemShep is 'just a woman with a past and a job to do', or something to that extent.

Yeah getting the 'perfect shot' is hard.  Mainly because theres so many places to get it!    But I love everyshot like this.  I always loiter around that window when I go past it and listen to the news I heard a dozen times over already.  Actually wish I had the Citadel Litho above my computer!    I actually do have the Afterlife and Collector Vessel ones but I need to frame them first.

Yep that happens alot in this thread, even on this page!!   Thats a really good capture by ele there actually!    I think its the outfit get up as well which works so well, especially on the omega missions
