As a female gamer I really appreciate that I am allowed to have a female protagonist in a game that involves role playing. A lot of times we get gypped as the minority and while I don't mind playing games with male protagonists, it's nice to be represented. And it's not just being able to play as a female, but having the game change because of it. Some games have the option for both genders, but the game doesn't change. As femshep you deal with sexism in the game that malesheps do not, which is accurate to real life.
Also, Jennifer Hale is a freakin' God.

Exactly. I realize I'm showing my age here, but I really loved Duke Nukem when the game came out. The male protagonist had a devil-may-care attitude and just shot down anything in his way while taking time to appreciate and tip the go-go dancers. When I realized how similiar in feel Mass Effect was, I immediately created my Female Shepard with bleached blonde hair and lived vicariously through her as if she was my female Duke Nukem. Just to be female and have the option to watch the asari dancers and wisecrack my way through Mass Effect is very gratifying. I definitely appreciate how different things are today.NanQuan wrote...

Still love the part in Omega when you are doing Garrus' mission and the Blue Sons recruiter says, Strippers quarters are on the other side of the bar. Then I pull out my pistol
I just saw that the other day...makes me chuckle.

I was thinking about that the other day. Outside of romances, how much femShep specific dialogue is in the game?
I recall Harkin's "Princess" remark in ME1. femShep: "Call me princess one more time and you'll be picking your teeth off the floor." or something like that.

IIRC, the pelvic bone is also way too narrow to be a woman's skeleton too.
Yeah, that's what caught my eye on my first playthrough.

Ah that was a good one. I like the one just after with the kid who wants to sign up as a merc: "Trust me, kid. You'll thank me later." Really good delivery of that line
But for ME3, I would like to see more special encounters for femShep. If nothing else, because it's usually satisfying when she sets them straight

Shep and Kaidan!
Yeah. In context, Shepard is making something of a pun between sex and push-ups. I'm paraphrasing here:
[Renegade]
Kaidan: "That's what I lo-... appreciate about you." *oh crap*
Shepard: "I think you need more practice "appreciating" me. On the floor and give me twenty, Lieutenant!" *amused, mock-Commanding*
Kaidan: "Finally, a reason to enjoy physical training!"
Alternately, [Paragon]
Kaidan: "That's what I lo-... appreciate about you." *oh crap*
Shepard: "The Galaxy in the balance and you're trip-talkin' to me." *amused*
Kaidan: "Yeah, I could use the practice. But I guess we have some time, huh?" *bashful*
The other was line the pre-Ilos pep talk:
Kaidan: "If things don't go well... I just wanted you to know, I've enjoyed serving under you." *hesitant*
Shepard: [Renegade] "Kaidan, I don't think I've had the pleasure of you serving under me... don't you think it's time to rectify that?" *amused*
Kaidan: "Ouch! I walked right into that, didn't I?"
... aaaand you can turn him away on the next sentence. Kinda cruel. But the voice acting is awesome on all fronts. XD
(For anyone who might have been curious.

I find it a bit funnier if you don't take the interrupt. The recruiter is such a tease.
