I love her happy smile in the second one.  Or perhaps it's mischievous, not sure.   ^_^

I like the expression and pose in this one.

I love all these, Sage. I love Kyrie's top shot: sort of give the vibe of 'I'm considering punching you in the face, but I won't' or an 'ORLY' moment.

The smile Kyrie gives really speaks about her: it's a light smile, perfect for her character. Not too much emotion, but just enough to show that she cares about what she's smiling about.

In a way, she reminds me of Miranda in that respect?

Ah, speaking of Miranda...there's the dream team now! Miranda, Garrus and an Adept!Shep can really kick some ass now and again. Great shots!

@Aislinn: D'awww. She's so cute when she's being tender.

@sage: I think you just nailed the femShep poster-face: "Don't worry about Reapers - worry about the angry space-marine right in front of ya!"

thanks sky, jedi, scamper. i like that smile, too. it's the dimples *squee!* so cute. thanks for comparing kyrie to miri, sky. i love miri's depth, and i take that as a total compliment to make a femshep face that seems to convey that same air of complexity

and yes, miri/garrus/adeptshep is just awesomeness. it makes for piles of bodies everywhere

You're quite welcome, my good woman! I noticed her similarities between the Cerberus leader and thought it interesting. (:P I tend to call the squadmates by their upgraded class abilities sometimes...it's an RP thing. Garrus is my turian survivor. Because, honestly, who else but Garrus could have the constitution to stand up to a rocket to the face?)

Cam's favorite ability would have to be...the biotic explosion, if one could call it an ability. She loves seeing enemies held by her Pull field get mashed by a Heavy Warp. She thinks the sounds of the detonation, coupled with the final death gurgles, is a sort of music to her ears.

.....What? I get into character sometimes! S'not my fault! Blame Cam! Posted Image

you can make the post in both places
if you do it here, i'll update the OP in the group thread so it doesn't get 'lost'. things move fast in the femshep thread.

So, I'm looking around for things cut from ME2 (audio files, scripts, etc)

I located this:

It's some Tali/FemShep dialouge, mostly used in game, but towards the end was a supposed Tali romance....I think.

And this kind of blew me away.

It's Thane/MShep. Sounds kind of...odd, coming from Meer, seeing is I now consider Thane to be a FemShep only romance option in game.

Also, Mordin was suposed to be biotic? It would have been...interesting.

there are too many biotics in ME2, imo. maybe that's me wanting my adept to be more special-like, but it went from this rare thing in ME1 (where wrex being biotic struck me as a little unnecessary, but oh well) to being everyone and their brother just happens to be a biotic.

I know, I just thought it was interesting is all. I thought a FemShep/Tali romance would have been interesting. Cute even. I know that some see Tali as a younger sister and are sort of squicked by the thought of romancing her, but to each their own.

No. I completely agree with you, sagequeen. So I'm glad they at least didn't make Mordin into yet another biotic. In ME1, biotics were supposed to be rare and 'special' - I wish Bioware kept to this.

This is a true thing, a very true thing. I wouldn't mind if maybe Miranda, Samara, and Jack were biotics. Jacob? Not so much. Thane? I suppose I could see this...sort of. My reasoning behind that is odd. Thane just...seems like he'd be a biotic....I dunno, I'm weird.

Mordin? It would have been interestng. I wonder what his skill set would have been...argh! Can't go into that!

FemShep! Kyrie's unique! She's totally one of a kind. :D  And Noah! Noah's cool. Adepts FTW.

I love Kyrie and Noah. Two of my favoritest, uniquest fem!Sheps. (Ooh, look at my english skills there, making up awkward words. *snorts*)

I also agree that they went a little biotic crazy for ME2. (Though I think Wrex in ME1 works, because part of his backstory was that he was one of the last of the old, traditional Battlemasters, and that was part of why he'd been a clan-leader, and ends up one again.) Jacob should've just been a soldier. I never think of Thane as a biotic, rather a sniper, because biotics seem really showy for a sneaky assassin type.

Though that could just be my fondness for playing Sentinels and Vanguards. My pretty blue glowy biotics. Don't wanna share. ^_~

Agreed. Alot of emphasis was placed on the fact that Kaidan is a biotic, and how his abilities are somewhat rare and unique amongst humans. Hell, half of his backstory revolves around the fact that he endured some incredible hardships due to the fact that he is a biotic. However, this changes in ME2. In the retail version of the game, all human squadmates possess biotic powers, and it's no longer considered to be something that is rare and unusual. It's strange, and I can't escape the feeling that the Mass Effect series' lore was undercut for the benefit of gameplay.

Kaidan tells an Adept Shepard that she seems to be more powerful than most L3s. In ME2 however, she is no longer considered to be one of the more powerful human biotics. It's strange.

Thanks!  They're not all mine, though.  I write Meghan Shepard (red armor).  The middle is Alexis Shepard, written by Sapphyreelf, and the one in the blue armor is Ella Shepard, written by Jillyfae.  Jhosephine was kind enough to make this pic of our Shepards for us.  It's them in ME2.  Which we haven't gotten to yet. ;)

hi jilly! *waves*

totally. don't wanna share either. and i keep forgetting thane is a biotic. as his class skills are so like my adepts, i never use him and his intro scene is more kung fu like than biotic, so...dunno. i wish they could have some skillzors that were more melee-like. yeah. too many biotics. kaidan and biotic shep were these unique people in ME2 and then two years later, everyone is a biotic. i agree - it should have been miri, jack, and samara. it sort of undercuts their powers that jacob just is a biotic - randomly. it seems they did that only so they could use the pull skill in the tutorial. <_< hmpf. that's what i think about that.

Great point and well said about the series' lore being undercut. It feels as if more time would have to have passed between the 2 games to make this new world a reality.

What if Shepard had been dead for 20 or 30 years? With my writer's mind, at least, I think that would have been really interesting. It could have allowed for more human biotics to enter the series in a way that didn't seem to stretch the plausibility of the canon. In a lot of ways that would have been terribly unsatisfying for me as a player, of course... especially since my favorite Shep is Kaidan loyal...

All that to say, yeah, I don't think it makes sense within the story for there to be so many human biotics all of a sudden.

That being said Cerberus is a private corporation with military forces similar to how PMCs operate today, many of which are staffed largely by former SAS, Navy SEALs and JTF2 special forces operators. Biotics in the Alliance are highly valued for their rarity much like special forces are today, that being said a PMC can pay them 10 times more money for doing less dangerous work. Biotics might still be very rare but Cerberus has the money to steal them away from their old employers.
