Out of the entire crew of the SR-2, which person is your Shepard closest with/does she trust the most? If your answer is Garrus/Tali/ or anyone else from the original Normandy just skip down the line to someone who wasn't there two years ago. People that were with Shepard the first time around are a given.

Conversely, who does your Shepard dislike/distrust the most out of her crew?

Kallen trusts Miranda the most (and got in her pants lol) but is closest to Kasumi because Kasumi let her see what was in the greybox and that developed a strong bond between them, she's also close to Jacob due to their alliance experiences.

Conversley she hates Zaeed (instead of the one punch she gives him with the paragon interrupt in my mind she just plain assaults him before telling him sacraficing innocent lives is unacceptable) because he's just obsessed with Vido and doesn't care about anyhting but his rifle and his old war stories which is why she left him on Zorya. okay, ELE, i hope you don't mind, but a random comment on your deviant art page caught my eye and i have to quote it here. you were saying something about playing some other game, realizing it had zero plot, and coming back to Mass Effect.
must have satisfactory conclusion in ME3 to shep's story or i will explode!

Yeah.  Friggin' Bioware *fist shake* has ruined me for other games.  My standards are now ridiculously high.

Okay, I'm only half joking.

I think the end of Shep's story will be epic.  I guess I'm an optimist.

Either of my Jennifer's, light or dark, doesn't trust Jack. Lighter one also doesn't like much of Zaeed, but since he's mercenary she doesn't mistrust him like she does Jack who's just loose cannon. Even with the loyalty mission done she's unstable.

Lighter Jennifer also didn't trust Miranda, but she earned her trust at the baby reaper event when she refused to do what TIM said.

Edit: Awesome pic Chig. :blink::D:o

Yay for FemShep awesomness! Wanted to share mine, hope you like her (I also can't figure out if she is too generic or not. Sometimes she looks like pretty much like all the Jane Shepards out there, sometimes quite the opposite)

Posted Image

Adrian Shepard, renegon, colonist, ruthless, infiltrator. Garrus romance, yes. Wasn't influenced by anyone in particular (not even by myself) - I just wanted to create someone of a distinctively strong and mature no-nonsense woman type, as opposed to "cute and snarky chaotic good redhead" types I usually play in RPGs. I'm really attached to her now - I just can't play as anyone else, they don't feel like Shepards to me. I also see her to be several years older than Shepard's canon age - it's just the way I made her, and they don't tell us Shepard's age from the beginning (which is a pity, really. since you can create much older looking characters and all). Overall she is very straightforward, un-feminine and not particularly sensitive. She's always telling herself to be strong and is really good at it.

One of the things I love about Mass Effect so much is that you are able to roleplay the character on the "dark side" of the morality system who is still human, rational and has good intentions. That's what she is. She can be very harsh, but everything she does she does for the greater good.

Posted Image

I always keep two things in mind when I play her. First, I try to develop some principles for her - not just going around punching people just to be renegade, you know. Such as good old "always the job done", calculating risks, sacrificing less to save more, no hurting civilians (no punch for the reporter, sorry), respect for authorities (at least in ME1), etc.
Second, I want her to change. In ME2 her renegade side is becoming darker and more chaotic, but at the same time she grows much closer to her team than she has ever been to anyone. I think she has developed somewhat parental feelings to them, even. Getting everyone to survive at the suicide mission makes a great contrast to Torfan, I think. And after blowing up the station she received just enough paragon points to get rid of the Evil Red Glow in the eyes - pretty nice touch. I suppose she may end doing something extremely paragon and impractical - like, in the name of LOVE or something. That would be fun.

Sorry for the small wall of text here, can talk about FemSheps all day.

Nice.

And I like her. I don't think she looks generic. The nose length does a lot to distinguish her... But then again, I really like checking out the subtle differences among "generic" looking Shepards so there's my bias.

Ella despises Miranda, probably because she can see how she herself could so easily have become someone who believed, like Miranda at the beginning, that the end justifies any and all means.  (Plus, she is annoyed that the woman fights in heels.  That's just not right.)  She refuses to recruit Zaeed at all.  **** mercenary.  (She also really didn't want to recruit Wrex in ME1.  He showed up and gave her his bounty and requested to come along and she was so surprised she sorta accidentally said yes.  And then realized they frequently think almost exactly alike, and was highly disturbed for awhile, until he eventually became her new surrogate big brother.)

She finds Thane's philosophy rather soothing, in a naive and impractical sort of way, and loves Mordin, even if she can't understand half of what he says.  She never once used an interrupt on him.  Grunt's fun too, but not much of a one for conversation.  They blow things up together.

Catherine, on the other hand, was highly impressed by Miri's character in regards her family and her changing Cerberus loyalties, and they're now bestest friends.  She despises Jacob, however, considering him young, and brash, and not much of a security chief.

edited because the baby decided to help me type. oops

To answer the question from a few hours ago:

My femShep doesn't fully trust anyone on the SR2... maybe Thane and Mordin... possibly Grunt but nobody else really. I'm honestly not sure who she trusts the least; will have to explore this in the future.

Adept is insanely fun on me1, but not su much on me2 since most biotics don't work becauseof sheilds armor and barriers.

re: shep's animations - granted, i can accept that shepard is not overly girly. still, even "mannish"/"tomboyish" women have the sense not to sit legs open in a skirt. i have a friend who is about as boyish as they come, but when she puts on heels, she DOES know how to walk in them. heck, even MEN in heels do not clomp around like shep did in kasumi dlc.

All the characters jog like arthritic ex-linebackers in ME2.  In LotSB, watch the cutscene as Shep and the two squadmates run out of the building on Illium to catch up with Liara and _______.

Am I the only one who notices how uncomfortable FemShep seems to even be in a dress to begin with?  Not the walk, but the way she talks about it?  Kasumi certainly notices it.

Oh, trust me, I've noticed it. Sure, it mainly doubles back to Shepard's animations, but in-universe I've still found a way to kind of rationalize it. In my mind, regardless of background (being raised on Navy ships, living on Mindoir or growing up in Earth slums) Shepard either didn't ever have a chance to act feminine growing up, was raised in an environment that made her generally not care, or had to "Grow out of it" because of what was happening around her.

... or at least that's how I try to rationalize why Morgan walks around in that dress as if she's so uncomfortable she'd rather be stark naked. But hey, that's just me.

Kiara Shephard (my infiltrator "main") probably trusts Tali and Garrus the most because of everything they stuck with her through in ME1 (and because they don't act like the VS does regarding her sudden reappearance -- the reunion with Wrex was so much better, always grabs the heartstrings).

Despite what I might have to say about it, she insists on falling for Thane.

With the rest of the crew, it's not so much distrust, as it is knowing who they are. Miranda would probably choose her sister over Shep 10 times out of 10 if someone made her make that choice. Jack might have every intention of being loyal at the moment, but she's not sane. Etc.
