Your Shepard has a "free day". On this one day nothing else matters.
There is absolutely nothing that she, or any of her crew, need to
either worry about or be threatened by. Not the Collectors, not the
Reapers, not Cerberus. This day is hers to do whatever she wants before
having to go back to "business as usual". What would your Shepard spend
that day doing?
Out of everything she owns (or did own, if it went down with the Normandy or something similar) what is the object that your Shepard treasures the most?
What is one fact (or more, if you're on a roll) about your Shepard that, in
universe, no one else knows? It can be related to her past, her
personality, whatever.
On a free day I think Ari
Shepard would go paragliding on some beautiful little planet with
cliffs and beaches and things like that.
Her most treasured item
had been a hex nut about the size of a golf ball that her first
boyfriend who died on Mindoir found and gave her when they were kids.
She lugs it around everywhere and not just in memory of him, but of all
her childhood losses. I doubt she'll be able to find it again at the
site of the Normandy's wreckage, so I suppose she would seek out a good
tattooist and get an image of it tattooed somewhere on her body.
Right
now I imagine her past in the following way: I haven't decided whether
or not anyone has figured out her lie that she had a large family--
mother, father, brothers, and sisters-- who died in the raid on Mindoir,
when actually it was just her father (she had no brothers or sisters
and her mother died of an illness when Ari was about 11.) I'm playing
with the idea that the records for the colony were destroyed in the
batarian raid and, by some fluke, not accurately backed up on any
off-world data storage unit.

Okay, here's an interesting little exercise.
In each game, there are gonna be a lot of things that the writers made Shepard say that juuuust don't quite fit your Shepard. But by the same token, there has to be at least one line that stands out as if it were just written specifically for her. What were those lines for your 'canon' Shepard?
I love these questions, but nothing jumps to mind immediately... As I go back and play bits and pieces of Ari's game to take screenshots, I'll start paying attention and report back later
